Painful deaths for the unborn‏

TELL CONGRESS TO PASS THE PAIN CAPABLE ABORTION BAN!

from Steve Stockman
United States Congressman

His skin was dark red and his eyes were fused shut. He didn't even have any cartilage in his ears.

James Gill wasn't supposed to live when he was born 128 days premature. At 21 weeks and 5 days and weighing only 1 pound 6 ounces, less than half a bag of sugar, the doctors told Brenda; "At this stage no child has survived."

But, Brenda refused to listen saying; "I just knew that he was going to be born and that he was going to be alive."

Thankfully, one doctor listened and agreed to help Brenda deliver her baby. That was in 1987.

Not only did little baby James survive, he thrived and grew up to be a perfectly normal, healthy and even stocky young man, graduated High School and went off to college to study automotive marketing.

And, today, thanks to medical advances, more and more babies born before 26 weeks survive.

Yet, at the same time unborn babies who have reached at least 20 weeks of age in utero are aborted at a rate of about 30 per day in the United States. That's thousands of babies 20 weeks or older that are killed every year by an abortionist.

It is savagery to think that infants who can survive outside of their mothers' wombs and who feel pain are butchered at the hands of doctors who had once vowed to "do no harm."

But, today you and I can change all that by passing the Pain Capable Abortion Ban (H.R. 36) in Congress. These are babies who can feel acute pain.

Who can forget the so-called "physician," late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted in 2013 of murdering infants who were born alive while performing late term abortions?

The stories of hundreds of babies torn from their mother's wombs, crying, gasping for air as this monster murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with a pair of surgical scissors.

Thankfully, Gosnell is now serving a life sentence for his crimes, but that does nothing to stop all the other butchers who continue to perform late-term abortions all across the country.

That's why the Pain Capable Abortion Ban is so important.

It will put politicians on notice that they either vote to end all late-term abortions now . . . or face defeat.

By exposing the horrors of late-term abortions in full U.S. House and Senate debates, we can expose the horrors of all abortion.

The fact is, battles like this in the past have helped us gain major ground toward our ultimate goal of ending all abortion on demand.

And, make no mistake; if a politician can't justify the killing of a baby at 20 weeks in the womb -- and they can't -- then they can't justify the killing of a baby at 19 weeks in the womb or even at 1 day.

Don't forget when National Pro-Live Alliance members like you fought for and ultimately passed the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban you and I exposed a slew of radical pro-abortion Congressmen and Senators.

As a result, scores of pro-abortion politicians were tossed out office and replaced by new pro-life lawmakers who went on to set new records for the number of Life at Conception Act cosponsors.

Can you just imagine Hillary Clinton, along with every other pro-abortion Congressman and Senator, trying to defend the killing of babies who not only are capable of feeling pain, but can even survive outside of the womb?

Forcing votes in Congress on the Pain Capable Abortion Ban (H.R. 36) will bring the scandal and tragedy of abortion-on-demand to forefront of public debate.
