WHAT A DOMESTIC TERRORIST LOOKS LIKE

by Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

Domestic Terrorism looks like anyone who advocates for abortion, ANYONE. That would mean the obvious – abortionists. But that also means every abortion ‘clinic’ worker from receptionist to janitors to nurses to ‘counselors’ to the abortionist. It also means thehospitals that accept transfer agreements for them. It means your neighbors and family members who believe abortion is okay for rape conceived and disabled babies. It also means anyone who has paid for an abortion or coerced a woman to kill her own unborn child.

With this homegrown terrorism, there are no refugees, just death and dismemberment.

Terrorists talk over lunches about selling the body parts of their targets, making a profit and laughing about it.

Mother's Home - 25 Years of Commitment to Mothers and their Children

Mothers’ Home, located in Darby, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1991 as a shelter for homeless, pregnant women in need of a safe and stable environment to prepare for childbirth. The story of Mothers’ Home begins with Dr. George Isajiw and his family. From 1981 to 1991 the Isajiw’s opened their home to care for 28 homeless and pregnant women.

As a practicing physician with a concern for the most vulnerable, Dr. Isajiw engaged his personal network to assist in his dedicated effort, and he organized and coordinated with 10 other families to host additional pregnant women in need. This network quickly gained momentum, and the host families were soon receiving more referrals than they could accommodate. The host families also discovered that many of the girls they were sheltering were dealing with issues of addiction, mental illness, and HIV, in addition to crisis pregnancies. Recognizing the limitations of a purely volunteer staff, Dr. Isajiw and his network were able to raise the funds necessary to secure a more permanent site with skilled staff.

Fortunately, the empty convent on the Blessed Virgin Mary campus in Darby was available. During the time the BVM site was being renovated, the young women lived in a large home in Lansdowne. The convent was ready for occupation in 1993, and since that time has housed over 1,000 homeless pregnant women. Mothers’ Home gratefully acknowledges initial funds to support the efforts for the pregnant and homeless women, especially the efforts provided by the Delaware County Pro-Life Coalition, the Delaware County Lawyers for Life and individual donations from many good people.

Through the efforts of Dr. Isajiw and his network, the 54-room, 3-story former convent building was renovated and brought up to code. The basement of the building was converted to a community outreach center, which is now called the “Sharing Space.” Here, low income families can secure infant/toddler clothing, baby equipment, diapers, formula and baby food, all from the generous donations of Mothers’ Home supporters. Residents may obtain layettes from our special “Sarajane Closet.”

At present, 28 young women can live at Mothers’ Home. They all participate in free daily classes on life skills, nutrition, parenting, labor and delivery, early infant care, housing, fertility awareness, and budgeting. There are occasional legal clinics addressing domestic abuse. Women of all races, religions, and ethnicity are welcome. The residents are required to perform 10 hours of community service each month. These service hours are usually performed in the Sharing Space, where clothing and items are made available to the community. Mothers’ Home actively promotes principles of personal responsibility, self-respect, respect for others, and mutual support. Case Management is provided to assist residents to define and obtain their personal goals.

Residents usually remain at Mothers’ Home for 6 months after the delivery of their babies. The popular “Step-Up Program” allows for 4 mothers to stay an additional 12 months at very low rent in two recently renovated apartments located in the building.

Former residents often return with their children to share with current residents their experiences since leaving Mothers’ Home. This is truly a “Circle-of-Life” encounter– a joyful and rewarding time for all! We at Mothers’ Home try to help our young mothers gain confidence, learn parenting and life skills, and ultimately move forward in life with the tools necessary to live stable and rewarding lives. Ultimately, our aim is the same as it was when Dr. Isajiw founded Mothers’ Home 25 years ago: to provide a safe shelter that encourages a healthy environment for the life of the baby, the life of the mother, and their future life as a family.

The goal  of Mother's Home is to provide residents a variety of classes that offer a true benefit in improving life, parenting and social skills. We are constantly looking to improve and upgrade our offerings. If you are a professional and would like to help us in this effort please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our staff and trained volunteers currently provide a variety of programs to our residents:
  • Personal Development
  • Nutrition and Female Health
  • Nutrition classes including a 6 week course from Penn State Extension Service
  • Registered Nurse once a month to provide classes on how to approach medical issues
  • Smoking Cessation “Warm Chicken instead of Cold Turkey” from Family & Community Services
  • Dental Hygiene annually by RNs from Manor College who are becoming Nurse Practitioners
  • Life and Social Skills; Discovery of self, family matters, sexuality, the female body, development of self esteem, and conflict management
  • Legal, Financial, and Housing
  • Clinic on the Domestic Abuse Project
  • Emergency Preparedness by Delaware County Emergency Services
  • Housing opportunities are presented by Catholic Social Services and occasionally by Horizon House
  • Bank Manager from Beneficial Bank present savings and budgeting classes
  • Financial Analyst also presents budgeting and ways to initiate savings

10 Women who Decided to Stop or Reverse Their Abortion

by Nancy Flanders
Live Action News

Women are often pressured into abortion, or decide to go through with one because they feel they have no other choice. But sometimes, at the last moment, women find their own strength, change their mind about the abortion, and choose life. Abortion reversal is possible.

Clinic Sidewalk Outreach Rescues a Dozen Babies in 3 Months

Baby saved outside Columbus Planned Parenthood!

from Mark Harrington, National Director
Created Equal

Columbus, OH – Nov 25, 2015 – What are you thankful for? As many assemble around turkey and pumpkin pie tomorrow, please join us in thanking God for twelve more babies rescued by Created Equal at Planned Parenthood in Columbus, OH—since September alone! Check out the adorable ultrasound picture of one such baby rescued recently.

Elizabeth Johnston, Director of Created Equal's Sidewalk Ministry, relays the story of this baby's rescue:
Wow! What a day! Praise God with me! This mom has chosen life! She had already paid for her abortion. Coach Dave Daubenmire (Created Equal Sidewalk Ministry team leader) called out to her, "We will adopt your baby!" She approached him and admitted she would rather adopt and gave Coach her phone number. My friend Joanne called her. The kids and I picked her up at her house, drove her and her beautiful daughter to the pro-life pregnancy center, and got her set up with a Christian adoption agency.
Click here to listen to Elizabeth share about the effort to rescue lives in Columbus on Activist Radio: The Mark Harrington Show.

Click here to watch another couple outside Planned Parenthood in Columbus share their ultrasound photos and declare, "We're pregnant and we're keeping it!"

Created Equal's Sidewalk Ministry was launched as a result of #ProtestPP, the historic national protests of Planned Parenthood we spearheaded along with Pro-Life Action League and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. The mission: a consistent presence outside Planned Parenthood with men and women offering aid and counsel to those planning to kill their children.

In the few months since the launch, we've seen 12 children spared from the death of abortion at this single Planned Parenthood facility. That's an average of one per week! Planned Parenthood has even added "escorts" outside their building to try to stop our slowing down of their business.

The story above is not unique. It is truly one of a dozen recent stories of children rescued, parents receiving the truth in love, and Planned Parenthood losing victims.

The glory for these babies' lives belongs to God. Please join us in thanking Him. And consider joining us outside Planned Parenthood. To get involved, email Jami@CreatedEqual.org. You can be part of saving lives!

#COLORADOSPRINGSSHOOTING & SIDEWALK ADVOCACY

From Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

STATEMENT:
“At this time, it is unclear if the shooter in Colorado Springs was targeting Planned Parenthood. It is abhorrent to us at KeepLifeLegal that anyone would use violence at any abortion facility for any reason. While there is violent death behind every door of every abortion facility, that does not justify Robert Lewis Dear’s violence. KeepLifeLegal is a continued advocate of Sidewalk Ministry & Advocacy. We are in continued prayer of this situation.”

Just last week, a sidewalk advocate’s life was threatened by an abortion worker. Dads who bring their unborn children to be aborted threaten to kill us all the time, not just now and then. Last year, a Pastor bringing his daughter for an abortion threatened all of us with a gun he said was in his car while the ‘guard’ did NOTHING. There are drive-by murder threats ALL THE TIME. Random people, and I mean RANDOM, will gun for praying sidewalk advocates with their cars. But what’s interesting is that this happens EVERY DAY on the sidewalk and the only people dying are the innocent unborn children. THAT is TERRORISM.

Another Birth Parent Pressures Surrogate Mom of Triplets to Have Abortion

Life News:  MICAIAH BILGER   NOV 27, 2015

Empowered by the story of Melissa Cook, a surrogate mother facing pressure to abort one of her triplets, another surrogate mother is seeking help for very similar circumstances.

The anonymous Southern California woman is a surrogate who is pregnant with triplets, according to the New York Post. She told the news outlet that a parent of the unborn children is pressuring her to abort at least one of them.

After reading about Cook’s situation in the news, a friend of the anonymous woman contacted the Center for Bioethics and Culture, a watchdog group for surrogacy exploitation, and asked for legal help to save the unborn triplets, the report states.

“This woman was asked to submit to an abortion. She’s asking for legal help,” Jennifer Lahl, director of the center, told the news outlet. “That’s why Melissa Cook’s story was so empowering. When one woman tells her story, it encourages other women to come forward. There’s strength in numbers.”

As LifeNews previously reported, surrogate mother Melissa Cook told The Sun that she is facing immense pressure to abort one of the triplets. The California woman is 17-weeks pregnant. She found out about the triplets at about eight or nine weeks, and the biological father has been pressuring her to abort one of them since then.

The babies were conceived using the father’s sperm and a 20-year-old donor’s eggs, according to the report. Cook’s contract with the biological father from Georgia says she would be paid $33,000 for the pregnancy, plus $6,000 for each additional child, the report states. By not aborting the third baby, the father’s lawyer warned Cook that she could lose all the money and have to pay to take care of the children herself.

Cook sent a response to the Georgia father, writing: “The doctor put in three healthy embryos. The chances were high they were all going to take. You knew I was 47 years old. If you knew you only wanted two babies, then why put in three embryos?”

Cook has four of her own children, including a set of triplets, according to the report. When her story was first reported, Cook appeared to be wavering under the biological father’s intense pressure.

“I have to reduce,” Cook said. “I’m scared. I don’t want to suffer.” But at another point in the interview, she said: “They are human beings. I bonded with these kids. This is just not right.”

Since Cook’s story was first published earlier this week, people have been volunteering free legal assistance and even adoption of the third triplet, according to the Post. Others are collecting donations to help her and the babies. The Center for Bioethics and Culture also is helping Cook fight for the lives of all of her unborn triplets.

Abortion Activist Threatens Student’s Life After Writing Pro-Life Column, Ohio State Ignores It

LIFE NEWS:  STEVEN ERTELT   NOV 25, 2015

Ohio State University is coming under heavy criticism today for ignoring a threat an abortion activist made against a pro-life student after she published an article exposing the high percentage of abortions on black babies.

Madison Gesiotto wrote an article that appeared in The Washington Times, titled “The number one killer of black Americans.”

“You won’t believe what the number one killer of black Americans is. It isn’t heart disease, it isn’t cancer, it isn’t homicide and it isn’t motor vehicle accidents,” Gesiotto wrote.

“In fact, the number one killer of black Americans is abortion. Despite a lack of reporting by California, New Hampshire and Maryland, a total of 730,322 abortions were reported to the CDC in 2011, the most recently published reporting year,” she explained. “405,994 of these reported abortions included cross-classified race/ethnicity data for 2011, of which 146,856 were reported to be black American abortions, equaling about 36 percent of the total number of abortions with reported race statistics.”

But the backlash from one abortion activist on campus was life-threatening, as the Times reports:

The threat arrived on Ms. Gesiotto’s Facebook page as part of a heated back-and-forth shortly after the appearance of her column, which cited figures by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing that black women received 36 percent of reported abortions in 2011.

The Facebook message said, “The government cannot take action against you for your offensive and racist article. But your colleagues can.”

Ms. Gesiotto, 23, said she became “extremely nervous” after reading the post, not knowing whether the threat referred to physical harm. The message came from another OSU law school student, but not one she knew.

“What bothered me is that I don’t know who this person is, I don’t know what type of action they were talking about,” said Ms. Gesiotto. “I just wanted the school to make sure it wasn’t anything physically dangerous to me.”

But when Gesiotto set up a meeting with Ohio State University officials, they dismissed her concerns.

“This is my freedom of speech, but they kept going on and on about how, ‘This is a flawed article, it’s not a good legal piece, it’s not a good journalistic piece, either,'” Ms. Gesiotto recalled. “They asked me to explain to them why I would put that [line] in, what that means, and how I should have followed that up by saying other things to support these black women.”

A second-year law student who writes the Millennial Mindset column for The Washington Times online opinion pages, Ms. Gesiotto said she tried repeatedly to steer the conversation back to the threat made against her, but that the deans appeared to “blow it off.”

“I’m a very tough person. I very rarely get upset or sensitive about things,” said Ms. Gesiotto. “But I was crying in that meeting for about 30 minutes, I was so shocked. I’ve never been in a situation with people I respected and looked up to and felt so violated.”

Dean Alan C. Michaels released a statement to the newspaper saying Ohio State takes any threat against a student seriously and declined to divulge any more information. But their response was also quite bizzare:

The deans also urged her to remove from her online biography her position as a staff editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, she said, saying it would confuse those who might think she was a faculty member and not a student.

Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.

They recommended that she participate in a “facilitated discussion” with students who disagreed with the op-ed. She refused.

The entire ordeal has created an atmosphere at Ohio State whereby the former Miss Ohio USA who competed in the 2014 Miss USA pageant is now hearing that she is dropping out or rumors that Ohio State is kicking her off campus — and the backlash from pro-abortion people on campus has created a difficult learning environment for her.

Ohio Right to Life told LifeNews in response that Ohio State University has botched the handling of the threats and failed to look out for Gesiotto.

“It is offensive and alarming that a public university would brush off a female student’s safety concerns just because she expressed pro-life views,” Ohio RTL president Mike Gonidakis told LifeNews. “This is yet another black eye for Ohio State as well as protecting female students and free speech. The terrible message the liberal faculty is sending to students and their parents is ugly. Tuition paying parents need to know that University officials apparently do not care about their children’s safety if they happen to have pro-life beliefs.”

“Ohio Right to Life is demanding a meeting with University President Michael Drake to ensure that Maddison is safe on campus and that she can freely express her pro-life beliefs without any fears of bullying and retaliation,” he added.

Missouri Down to One Abortion Clinic After Planned Parenthood Stops Abortions in Columbia

LIFE NEWS: MICAIAH BILGER, NOV 25, 2015

A Missouri Planned Parenthood stopped doing abortions Monday, leaving just one abortion clinic left in the whole state.

The move came after Dr. Colleen McNicholas, who did abortions at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Columbia, lost her “refer and follow” hospital admitting privileges at the University of Missouri Health Care, according to the Columbia Tribune. According to state law, the abortion clinic will lose its license to do abortions without the admitting privileges.

The university voted to stop offering admitting privileges to McNicholas in September, in response to a state investigation prompted by undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress, which showed Planned Parenthood abortionists harvesting and selling aborted babies’ body parts. The investigation revealed a relationship between Planned Parenthood and the university.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Pro-lifers with 40 Days for Life celebrated Monday with an event outside the Planned Parenthood clinic, according to the newspaper. The group released balloons for each baby who was aborted there since July, the report states.

“We give all the honor and glory and victory to God,” said Kathy Forck of 40 Days for Life. “This is God’s victory.”

Abortion advocates are planning their own protest next Monday at the university, according to the local newspaper. The group wants to pressure interim Chancellor Hank Foley into reversing the September vote and extend the abortion doctor’s admitting privileges, Laura McQuade, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri, told the local newspaper.

McQuade said they will push Foley for an extension through February, which would give McNicholas time to re-apply for hospital admitting privileges or give Planned Parenthood time to hire another abortion doctor.

Urge Your Senators to Vote to Defund Planned Parenthood

David Christensen
Vice President for Government Affairs
Family Research Council

The Senate has a unique opportunity to defund Planned Parenthood by 80% and repeal key parts of ObamaCare with only 51 votes instead of the usual 60! The Senate is expected to bring forward a budget bill called a "reconciliation" bill which on budgetary matters that only requires 51 votes. There are 54 Republicans in the Senate. The Senate Parliamentarian has reportedly agreed that the House-passed provision blocking federal funds for abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood from Medicaid, Medicare, and other programs would comply with the strict Senate rules—called the Byrd Rule—for 51 votes on this bill. Senators must hear from you to support the provision blocking funding for Planned Parenthood and support for the bill. If Republicans vote no either because of the pro-life provision, or because the bill doesn't "do enough" on ObamaCare, this rare opportunity to pass a significant bill blocking funds for Planned Parenthood—which obtains over $400 million per year in Medicaid alone—will be missed.

The bill can cut a massive portion of your taxpayer dollars that fund Planned Parenthood and does serious damage to ObamaCare.

The House bill passed by an overwhelming majority by a vote of 240-189, with only 7 of 246 Republicans voting "No." This bill's ObamaCare provisions must also comply with the strict Senate budget rules to use the 51 vote threshold. ObamaCare provisions that are more policy than budget must pass with 60 votes, but the Senate already failed in August to achieve 60 votes to repeal all of ObamaCare. The Senate bill is expected to improve on the House passed bill which cuts employer mandate and the individual mandate fines and cuts spending from the "prevention fund" which is a government slush fund. Repealing these and other parts of ObamaCare would alleviate federal pressure on people who are forced to purchase health insurance which they may find objectionable, such as including coverage for elective abortion coverage. Repealing the employer mandate would remove federal pressure on employers who are mandated to pay for the HHS mandate contraceptives.

While the special rules on Reconciliation cannot be used to defund ALL federal funding for Planned Parenthood, it CAN be used to cut millions from their pocket book—roughly 80%.

We can't allow the desire to repeal all of ObamaCare to prevent conservatives from trying to gut key parts of ObamaCare, especially on this budget reconciliation bill which only requires 51 votes in the Senate.

Please urge your Senators to vote FOR the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act; and ask them to support eliminating Planned Parenthood's funding and to repeal as much of ObamaCare as the budget rules allow.

Urge your Senators to vote to Defund Planned Parenthood on the Reconciliation Budget bill by clicking on the button below.

Join the National Pro-Life Alliance at the March for Life on January 22, 2016

from Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance

Would you like to join the National Pro-Life Alliance at this year's March for Life in Washington, D.C.? Then I've got some exciting news for you.

Thanks to the sacrificial generosity of a pro-life donor, I am excited to announce your NPLA is giving away travel vouchers of $500 to help five lucky winners and their parties to attend the 43rd March for Life on Friday, January 22nd, 2016.

If you'd like a chance to win, click on the button below to sign your entry form right away!

25,000 activists attended the first March for Life back in 1974.  Since then, it's grown exponentially to a regular participation of hundreds of thousands of activists, with young people coming out in droves.  If you've ever been to one, you know it's an inspiring sight.

But there is a mostly untold story at the annual March for Life. And that's the story of the hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans who can't make it to Washington for the march because of the expense.  Although not there physically, these individuals still attend in spirit.

They hold prayer vigils for the folks participating in the march, they gather at local places of worship and they fast and pray as they tend to their daily tasks.

If you have been one of those who have attended from afar in the past -- or if you're a longtime marcher who is struggling to fund the cost of attending this year -- this sweepstakes could be your lucky break.

So click on the button above for your opportunity to win a travel voucher to join the National Pro-Life Alliance at this year's annual March for Life!

Here at the National Pro-Life Alliance, we work every day knowing that it is our supporters like you who make it possible for us to fight to end the slaughter of abortion in America.

That's why we're so grateful to our donor who has made possible this opportunity to help our supporters join us at the 2016 March for Life on Friday, January 22nd.

Patricia, the Planned Parenthood videos have created a groundswell of pro-life grassroots energy.

So it is more important than ever to show the Abortion Lobby's cronies in Congress that it is time to END abortion-on-demand in America.

43 years of abortion-on-demand made possible by Roe v. Wade is 43 years too many.

Your National Pro-Life Alliance is counting on our grassroots supporters from across America to stand with us at the March.

And this is the first time we've been able to help our supporters make the journey to our nation's capital thanks to a generous NPLA donor.

It is my sincere hope to meet you among the lucky winners at the March this year, as I will be there with the rest of the NPLA team.

To Disney and ABC: End the Abortion Propaganda

by Rebecca Downs
Live Action News

In the mid-season finale of ABC’s hit show “Scandal,” the show’s lead character, Olivia Pope, aborted the baby she conceived with the President. Not only was the scene lauded, but “Silent Night” —a song celebrating the birth of Jesus— played in the background.

The episode also featured gratuitous statements of support for Planned Parenthood from other characters, one who repeated the debunked lie that abortions account for only 3 percent of services at Planned Parenthood.

To add insult to injury, the episode was titled “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” Nothing says “Merry Christmas ” like the death of innocents.

Live Action has issued a petition demanding ABC and Disney to stop promoting abortion. The demand is simple, but crucial. Click on the picture below to sign the petition.

America’s Incoherent Attitude Toward Suicide

by Cullen Herout
Catholic Stand

Trying to make sense out of our country’s thoughts and feelings when it comes to suicide is like trying to decipher a map made up of coded symbols in a language we can’t understand. In some cases we encourage it. In some cases we rally against it. In some cases we protect against it. In some cases we think it should be legal. It is an incoherent mess of poor philosophy and even worse implications.

For starters, in September of this year we had National Suicide Prevention Week. Celebrated from September 7-13th, the week was highlighted by World Suicide Prevention Day, which is held on September 10th each year. People rally together to support those who have lost loved ones, raise awareness of those who might be at risk, and draw attention to resources available to those who might be contemplating suicide. The whole week is a great way to raise awareness of one of our country’s biggest epidemics, especially among those veterans who have served in our country’s military.

Another Pro-Choice Mantra

Meanwhile, as many as twenty states around the country are introducing bills to legalize euthanasia, or doctor-assisted suicide this year, with more to follow. Several states already allow this practice, and the “right to die” is quite literally replacing the “right to life” right before our very eyes. The movement is sweeping the nation and those who support doctor-assisted suicide continue to rally around the “choice” mantra, claiming that if a person wants to end his or her life, he or she should be able to. If it hasn’t already, this battle against the dignity of life is coming to a town near you.
It’s tough to make sense of why we would want to allow one person to help another person kill himself. One reason, I believe, is the transformation in our understanding of suffering. We have transformed suffering from being a means to something to being an end to be avoided. Suffering used to be seen as a road to virtue, a means to build endurance and character. In a society where virtue and endurance are wholesale disregarded, suffering becomes an end to be avoided. Why suffer when nothing good can come of it? This is what happens when the pursuit of happiness becomes more important than the pursuit of holiness. When suffering prohibits so-called happiness, death becomes the preferable option. Anything to avoid suffering becomes desirable. I’m not saying we should go out of our way to seek and embrace suffering, but to choose death over it is to deny the value that can be found in it.

In any case, there is a disconnect in our philosophy when it comes to suicide. It’s a tough disconnect to figure out. In some cases, we want to prevent our citizens from choosing suicide, and in some cases we encourage it. Sure, advocates will point to doctor-assisted suicide and say that those who choose the practice are mostly elderly folks, terminal patients, those who are suffering with awful physical infirmities. For the most part they might be right, at least for now. But is there any question that if we start allowing people to choose their own deaths, more and more people will claim to have a “right” to choose it?

The biggest issue with this disconnect is that we are trying to nominally separate the two categories of people tempted to suicide, and it cannot be done. We are trying to label those who are “eligible” for suicide, and those who are not. On one hand, we look at a 31-year-old drug-addicted male suffering immensely from depression and give him pamphlets for suicide hotlines, numbers for mental health counselors and treatment centers, and try to make sure he has all the help he needs to stay alive. On the other hand, we have a 78-year-old woman struggling with the pain of brain cancer, and she is given a prescription for life-ending drugs.

The end result is the encouragement of suicide across the board. There is no conceivable way to look at the 31-year-old and treat him differently than the 78-year-old. She has an unbearable amount of physical pain and wishes she could die. He has an unbearable amount of mental and emotional pain and wishes he could die. One of them is “eligible” for doctor-assisted suicide and one is not.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR JUST ONE MORE DAY?

by Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

The song says “It is well with my soul”. It is sung by a dying woman. She may have only days or hours to live because of cancer. She is a mother, a wife, a woman of God. And yet, she is dying. I wonder what she would do for one more day.

Maybe just one more surgery would be the cure. Or just one more chemo. Pray. And pray some more.

One more day. JUST ONE MORE DAY, imagine struggling for just one more day. Every day in America, the unborn struggle for just one more day.

Planned Parenthood Rhetoric vs. Health Department Inspection Reality

by John Jansen
Pro-Life Action League

Shortly after the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) started released undercover videos this summer, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards sent an email to supporters claiming that her employees “deliver the absolute best care to their patients.” She also used predictable phrases like “dangerous misinformation” and “lies” perpetrated by “extremists.”

No surprise here—after all, what else would we expect Richards to say?

But officials at the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PDH) didn’t take her word for it. Just a few weeks after CMP started releasing videos, they decided to see for themselves what was going on at all eight Planned Parenthood facilities in the state that perform surgical abortions by conducting “special monitoring” surveys. Six passed, but the two facilities in Philadelphia—Kermit Gosnell’s hometown—both failed.
Cluelessness about Cleanliness

Pennsylvania law requires abortion facilities to properly store fetal tissue prior to being picked up (that is, in a freezer or refrigerator). But at Planned Parenthood’s Far Northeast Health Center, state health officials found [PDF] on August 13 that aborted fetal remains were being kept unfrozen and without preservative in a janitor’s closet.

Philadelphia’s other Planned Parenthood facility that performs surgical abortions, the Locust Street Health Center [PDF], was keeping aborted fetal remains in a biohazard storage freezer, but it was unlocked and located in an unlocked room, and it was in dire need of defrosting. What’s more, the biohazard bags were undated, meaning there was no way to verify if the remains were being picked up at least once every 30 days, pursuant to state law.

Public Funding of Planned Parenthood Endorsed by AMA

by Dr. David McKalip
Crisis Magazine

The AMA meeting is now over. The delegates have left. The AMA has a clear message for America: “we are dead inside.” By a 363-71 margin, the AMA physician leaders stood against life itself, rejecting a call to defund the corrupt abortion group, Planned Parenthood. Every effort was made to prevent the AMA from revealing their true nature. As predicted, parliamentary maneuvering, political threats and mockery were used in an attempt to prevent even an open discussion and vote on the matter. The AMA does not really want America to know that they occupy a dead zone on life, one illustrated in practical and symbolic terms at the meeting itself.

Tricks and tactics
The cover-up attempt was all for naught however, since in the end the debates occurred before all of America and God. The proud lieutenants of Planned Parenthood rose in solidarity with corruption and indisputable acts of evil. The debate was sparked by a resolution I proposed as AMA delegate. Resolution #220 asked that “the American Medical Association actively support legislation to immediately end federal and state funding of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc.” The AMA politicians were prepared. They knew that having such a discussion at the AMA was dangerous. They didn’t want America to know that most of the AMA physician leaders supported abortion and would vociferously defend Planned Parenthood’s heinous activities.

Alabama House Plans to Reintroduce ‘Heartbeat Bill’

from Live Action News

The Alabama House of Representatives plans to reintroduce the pro-life ‘Heartbeat Bill,’ which, according to LifeSiteNews, “would make committing an abortion against a baby after his/her heartbeat is detected a Class C felony” and would make it a crime “to fail to try to detect the baby’s heartbeat, unless the mother’s life was in danger.”

This is the third time such a bill has been introduced by the Alabama House. The bill died twice once it reached the state senate. This time, however, the bill will have a senate sponsor, Sen. Gerald Allen (R-Tuscaloosa). Even so, the bill is not without controversy, even among ardent pro-lifers. LifeSiteNews reports:
Some pro-lifers oppose the Heartbill Bill and similar legislation because they fear the inevitable legal challenge could lead to the U.S. Supreme Court strengthening Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, the infamous dual-ruling which made abortion legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

Planned Parenthood Overbilled Taxpayers 1 in 7 Times, Report Finds

by Kelsey Harkness
The Daily Signal

After discovering “alarming” instances of billing inconsistencies, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin ordered health care officials to block all state funding for the two Planned Parenthood clinics located in Oklahoma.

“More than one in every seven bills submitted for payment [by Planned Parenthood] … are inaccurately coded or insufficiently documented,” Fallin wrote Wednesday in a letter addressed to Oklahoma Health Care Authority Director Nico Gomez. “These results are alarming.”

Fallin was referring to high error rates found in a Program and Integrity Review of Payments for the two Planned Parenthood affiliates operating in Oklahoma. One review found “a 20.3 percent error rate” and another discovered a “14.1 percent error rate.”

“These errors result in overbilling to the Oklahoma taxpayer,” Fallin said. “[W]hether willful or simply negligent, the consistent submission of improper billings should disqualify these Planned Parenthood providers from participation in the Oklahoma Medicaid program.”

She was Sobbing Outside the Abortion Facility...

from Chantel Poisel, Communications Coordinator
Sidewalk Advocates for Life

When I read this article, my heart broke. And I realized how much we need to be on the sidewalk or support those who are able to be there!

The undercover videos released by The Center for Medical Progress have further made plain the truth that the abortion industry has no regard for the life of the preborn child -- they are in it for the money. Despite their claims (and even belief) to the contrary, it is also clear that these abortion facilities are not looking out for the best interests of the women who walk through their doors.

I encourage you, if you haven’t already, to read this recent article published by Live Action News (full article here ) in which they tell the story of Genevieve, an Australian woman, who was overwhelmed at the thought of having her baby, and in desperation, turned to an abortion clinic for help.

Genevieve sobbed for hours outside of the clinic, feeling helpless and unsure of what to do. In the article she explained how the abortion ‘counselor’ pressured her and treated her coldly, ultimately telling her she only had 5 minutes to decide ....and in her desperation, Genevieve chose the abortion. If Sidewalk Advocates had been present that day, Genevieve’s story may have had a different ending, perhaps with her being directed to a crisis pregnancy center where she could get real help for her and her child.

The sad part is this: Genevieve’s story is not an isolated one. Women just like her are being pressured into abortions that they don’t really want every single day, in abortion facilities around the globe. They are desperate, feel alone, and don’t realize all of the resources available to help them.

There's so much we can do to ensure that no woman ever experiences this again.

  • PRAY. I know, it sounds simple and cliché, but so many people underestimate the power of prayer -- it is one of the greatest tools that we have! The Lord hears your prayers, and HE is changing hearts and minds and saving lives through your prayers. Pray from home. Pray from your church. Pray for women who find themselves pregnant, but don’t want to be. Pray for men who are being pushed to the sidelines and have no say in whether their child lives or dies. Pray for those who are standing on the sidewalk, reaching out in love to men and women-in-crisis. And pray for those who work in the abortion industry, that they would have a conversion of heart and leave the business forever.
  • BE PRESENT. Take your prayers to the sidewalk in front of the local abortion facility in your community. Bring your friends and family with you. Be a prayer partner for a local Sidewalk Advocate as they minister to men and women on the sidewalk and meet them right where they are in that moment of desperation, offering them hope and love.
  • BECOME A SIDEWALK ADVOCATE. If there is already a sidewalk advocacy program in your community, sign up for the next training. If there is not yet a program in your community, then prayerfully discern if the Lord is calling YOU to bring this program to your community to help women-in-crisis. Women have been sold a pack of lies about abortion, and they need to know that there is hope, that someone does care, and that they are loved.
Applications to bring Sidewalk Advocates to Life to YOUR community this winter are open now through November 30th. Fill out the 5 minute application HERE (If the application fee is any problem, please let us know.) Questions? Check out our FAQs using this link. or send us an email at info@sidewalkadvocates.org.
  • FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Prayerfully discern if the Lord is calling you to give of your treasure to ensure this very effective, peaceful outreach continues! Maybe you are called to support your local pregnancy resource center to meet the needs of women-in-crisis with food, rent, diapers, etc. Or perhaps you are called to support our mission at Sidewalk Advocates for Life so we can bring this life-saving training to as many communities as possible across the country and around the world, providing women and families with real help and hope.

If you’d like to help save a life through the gift of your treasure, you can do so at by clicking on the button below to make a life-saving, tax-deductible donation.

Does it really make a difference? In short, YES!

Since our program first launched in the Spring of 2014, we have seen God use people like you and me as His hands and feet through this ministry. By the grace of God, there have been almost 1,000 lives saved and women spared from a lifetime of regret – and that’s just the ones we know of! Not to mention, 24 abortion clinic workers who have left their jobs in the abortion industry for good.

God is moving in a mighty way, and we give all the glory to Him! Don't delay -- lives are at stake!

Prayerfully discern what your role in this fight for life should be. Are you called to be a prayer warrior? Are you being called to support some aspect of this work financially? Perhaps YOU need to be that sign of hope and love in front of your local abortion facility, and the Lord is calling you to bring Sidewalk Advocates for Life to your community for the first time.

Whatever role you are being called to, we ask you to prayerfully consider that role and to say, “Yes, Lord!”

Fifty-six Million Babies 'Legally' Sacrificed Since Roe v Wade

A Poem by Tom Graffagnino

Fifty-six million babies 'legally' sacrificed since Roe v Wade oozed it's way under the door....

It’s what happens to a culture
When the darkness is condoned…
It’s what happens when what’s righteous
Meets Pro-Choicest hearts of stone.

It’s what happens when the fruitful
Turns to barren then decays…
When what’s full drains out to empty,
When God’s Grace does not amaze.

It’s what happens when foundations
Are dreamed up on shifting sands…
It’s what happens when the people
Disregard the Lord’s commands.

It’s what happens to a country
When there’s no more God to fear….
It’s what happens to the conscience
Over time when it’s been seared.

It’s what happens to a nation
When there’s no more light or salt…
And when shame is shamed to silence,
We pretend it’s no one’s fault.

It’s what happens to a people,
When the Truth is disavowed…
When the Word no longer matters,
When it’s shunned and disallowed.

 40 Days for Life
Thank you, everyone who made this 17th - 40 Days for life Campaign another success in West Chester.
It has finally been reported by the International 40 Days leaders that 834 babies were saved during this campaign. This brings the total of babies saved since 2007 to 11,165 babies saved from abortion.

I talked with the ladies at Chester County Women Medical Services about the coupons that we hand out during our vigil hours. They said that they do receive our coupons and the women do get their pregnancy tests and ultra sounds done there.

Unfortunately, the women have not shared their plans for the babies with the ladies lately. By our presence at PP and those women accepting the coupons, they were able to make their decisions fully informed. The rest is in the hands of Our Lord and the Holy Spirit.

Baby Shower

Our third 40 Days' baby shower received 156 items and $90. Thank you for your generosity. All items have been disturbed to the Birthrights in West Chester & Coatesville and CCWS.

Your generosity is as always so much appreciated, needed and accept by women with such happy hearts. It is such a blessing to visit the pregnancy centers as the culture of life permeates all around. Continue to save your used baby clothes up to size 4 as they too are truly needed.

Planned Parenthood in West Chester, Pa

Planned Parenthood has new larger signs with more information on them about their availability. As of the last time I was down at PP, nothing was written in Spanish.
Planned Parenthood in West Chester, Pa. will take you to their websites. Their fees for procedures are posted on West Chester's Health Center. Abortion fees are not posted on their Surgical Center website.

Same building listed under two names. Lee Tripp is listed as being 62 years of age. Let us all make a special effort to pray that the Holy Spirit will encourage him to seek an early retirement.

Since there has been so much coverage on the shifting of government money from PP to other qualified health care providers, those local providers are now listed on our 40 Days for Life website  using this link for your convenience. They are the last listing on the Resources list which is located on the right of the local West Chester map. These are the centers that CCWS etc uses. Also listed are two places where STD testing is free. Please feel free to copy them if you like.

West Chester's PP is one of the 5 centers that: If your are under 18, fees for services will be waived.

You are still encouraged to hand out CCWS brouchure with the free pregnancy test/ultra sound coupon and the Greater Philadelphia Pregnancy & Assistance Resource Guide and the HLA brochure. The women are then fully informed with all the help that is available and that they are not alone. If you are in need of any of this material contact Chester County Pro-life Coalition 610-692-4463.

Gotnew.com

Gotnew.com has posted the unreleased tapes that David Daleiden had recorded at the National Abortion Foundation's annual meeting in San Francisco, Ca. on April 7, 2014 The discussion on segment 9 is on the topic of fetal remains. This discussion centers around the problem with the disposal of aborted babies. Because of the laws of each state and businesses not wanting to accept so many babies remains, the speaker said "we are one incineration company away from being closed."

Alternative methods of disposal was discussed and another problem where do we put all the children's ashes? It was also mentioned that the abortion industry must be very careful to follow regulations as the anti-abortion people (us) are vigilant in watching what the abortion business does.
Our presence in front of PP is not only saving children's lives but helping to keep women safe when they enter into PP's buildings. We, the culture of life, is gaining so much headway and the abortion industry is floundering in so many ways. I hope this shared information give you the fortitude to periodically go down to PP and keep the vigil going for the unborn and their families.

One last thought to ponder. According to Planned Parenthood birth control is the answer to family planning and putting women in control of their lives.

Why then did Cecile Richard's birth control fail?? Let me quote Richards response to Katie Couric when asked about her abortion. "It was a decision my husband and I made. It was a personal decision. And we have three children that we adore and they are the center of my life. And we decided that was as big as our family needed to be. That was really the story. It wasn't anything more dramatic than that."

HOW DO YOU ADORE THREE CHILDREN AND KILL THE 4TH CHILD BECAUSE .........THERE WAS NO ROOM AT THE INN?

God bless you and thank you again for keeping 40 Days for Life in your prayers and covering vigil hours for the children. A special thanks goes out to Pastor Joseph Stagora and his wife, Wendy, Thomas Ackerman and Pastor Don Britton for there inspiration and guidance that they gave to us through this campaign to keep us spiritually refreshed to keep doing the work of our Saviour.

Think warm for February as the next 40 Days for Life begins on February 10th. Yes, an early Easter. If you have any ideas that could improve our local 40 Days, please, please share with me. We are always looking to improve for the babies. Any special event you would like see happen? Also, speak often of the unborn and their plight as this is the season when the most special Child in the entire world was an unexpected Blessing and became the Savior of the world for all ages.

Again thank you in behalf of the unborn, their families, Chester County Pro-life Coalition and myself for your support as we prepare for out 18th - 40 Days for Life Campaign in Chester County.

All God's blessings wished to you and yours for all the holidays and the coming year.

Created Equal Prevails in Free Speech Battle With University

from Mark Harrington, National Director
Created Equal

Columbus, OH – Nov 18, 2015 – The student government of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio has scrapped a student-proposed initiative to stop Created Equal. For years, we have brought our pro-life outreach to public sidewalks at a busy thoroughfare in the heart of this private university. After knocking over our signs, recruiting a "bed sheet brigade" to try to cover our pictures of abortion victims, standing in the street in front of our Truth Truck and JumboTV trailer, students took their bullying to a new level with a plan to purchase public sidewalks, thereby killing free speech. But the initiative failed. Watch the clip from 10TV news!

Watch the Video below: Abortion protest sparks debate over sidewalks

As 10TV reports, the City of Westerville stated their sidewalks are not for sale. However, the effort never reached that level as last night the student government rejected the proposal. Otterbein student government president Carrie Coisman said, "[T]he proposal did not align with our values of diversity and commitment to campus dialogue of opposing views."

Otterbein University's statement on the attempt to stop free speech reads, "We respect the rights of any group who wishes to share and express their opinions on public property and encourage our students to either engage in debate; ignore it; or learn the process that takes place between debates and protesting."
"We fight for free speech almost as much we make the case against abortion on college campuses. This is a victory for us, as well as for every pro-life group in America. The decision by student leadership to reject this audacious move to kill our First Amendment rights is encouraging, especially in the wake of events at Yale and University of Missouri. While many students clamor for the supposed right to be coddled, today free speech won." – Mark Harrington, National Director, Created Equal

Protect the Rights of Pro-Life Health Care Providers

from Amy McInerny, Executive Director
National Committee for a Human Life Amendment

The next two to three weeks are critical. We must demand key conscience protections be included in the law Congress must pass by December 11 to fund government programs for the 2016 Fiscal Year. Urge Congress again to protect conscience rights by clicking here now. Then share this call to action through email and social media.

What if you spent years training to help the sick as a nurse – only to find that to keep your job, and your license you must take part in the killing of a defenseless five-month-old unborn child?

What if a church in your town lived up to its teaching on healing the sick by providing its employees with excellent health coverage – but was told that is illegal, unless it pays for abortions that violate its teaching on life itself?

These are not projections of a nightmare future. Rather, each of these things happened recently in our country – and will keep happening, unless we stand up as citizens and demand a change in the law. Please go to the Human Life Action Center and contact Congress now to urge them to protect the rights of pro-life health care providers.

A solution is available and we should be part of it. The Abortion Non-Discrimination Act (ANDA) will close loopholes in existing law and provide a private right of action, so that healthcare providers, whose freedom of conscience is denied, can defend their rights in court. It is now part of the House of Representatives’ appropriations bill for funding HHS. By early December, Congress needs to pass a law funding government programs in Fiscal Year 2016 – and this urgently needed reform should be part of that final bill.

We must speak up now to protect our cherished right of conscience. Thank you for acting in defense of life and liberty. Tell everyone you know to join us in raising our voices. Together we will be heard!
Go to the Conscience page of the USCCB to learn more about the real people and services whose freedoms have been denied.
