The Physician Assisted Suicide Bill Dies in NJ Senate

An Important Victory That Bolsters Opposition Nationwide

Marie Tasy, Executive Director
New Jersey Right to Life

The Physician Assisted Suicide bill officially died in the NJ Senate today. Thank you for for acting on our alerts and a special thank you to all those faithful pro-lifers who gave up their valuable time to join us down in Trenton to lobby their Senators.

This is an important victory that not only affects us here in the Garden State, but bolsters opposition nationwide! Please read the Press Release here.

At the end of the day, there were not enough votes in the Senate to pass the bill. The bill can be reintroduced in the new legislative session and assigned a new bill number. As always, we will be sure to monitor the bills introduced and will keep you apprised of any developments on this issue.
