Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition is Looking for Volunteers!

from Ellen Gifford, President
Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition

The Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition is looking for some volunteers to help out with some of our many events that take place each year. These events are the means to raise money for our many crisis pregnancy centers and homes in Bucks County and the surrounding area.

Our Lady of Czestochowa

Polish-American Family Festival & Country Fair

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, September 3rd, 4th, and 5th
Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th
12:00 - 8:00 pm

As many of your know, every year we have a booth at the Czestochowa Festival on Labor Day Weekend and the weekend following.

Three of our members have generously stepped forward and volunteered to be Day Captains, but we need captains for Saturday, September 3rd, and Sunday, September 4th.

The main task of the captain is to find volunteers to man our booth. For all the particulars, you can contact either:

As always, we also need volunteers to man our booth. We are requesting  a 2-hour commitment.

What a wonderful way for the family to spend the end of summer with a day up at the shrine. Remember, in this year of Mercy, the shrine also is the home of one of the six Holy Doors in the Archdiocese.

Celebrate Life 5K Run/2K Walk

The Coalition is looking for a volunteer to help us plan this event. This would be a great learning opportunity for someone who is looking to take on the career of Event Planning.

Our Celebrate Life 5K Run/2K Walk is our most involved event. For this event we need to work with county employees, vendors, timers, course layouts, web page designers, sponsors, along with participants and advertisers. While this event is successful, we know with the right person at the helm, this could be an outstanding event.

With an event of this type, the planner can generate the type of metrics a prospective employer can understand; increases in sponsorships, increases in contributions and increases in participation.

So if you think you are ready for this type of challenge, call Ellen Gifford at 215-601-9945; or pass this along to someone to whom you think this applies.
