Annual Good Friday Pilgrimage and Prayer Vigil Draws 170 People to Pray at the PP in Warminster, Pa.

The annual Pilgrimage and Prayer Vigil  in front of the Planned Parenthood facility in Warminster, Pennsylvania drew 170 people to pray and give witness this Good Friday.

The pilgrimage began at 9:30 am in the parking lot of Nativity of Our Lord Church and processed down Street Road to Louis Drive where Planned Parenthood is located. The program consisted of the reading of the Gospel according John; Reflections on Christ's Passion; Stations of the Cross; singing of the hymn 'Where You There When They Crucified My Lord?' and ended  with the 'Prayer to End Abortion' from Priests for Life.

As the Stations of the Cross were being prayed, one of our sidewalk counselors noticed a couple coming out of Planned Parenthood. They sat for the longest time in their car talking and arguing.  As they were leaving she tried to give them literature  which has our local hotline number listed, but they ignored her and just kept on driving.  We can only hope and pray that they had a change of heart and will give their baby a chance at life.

The Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition would like to thank all who came out today and invite everyone to our monthly meetings.  The next meeting takes place on Monday, April 24th at 7:30 pm at the Nativity of Our Lord Conference Center (the former convent), located at 625 W. Street Road in Warminster, Pa.
