My Observations at the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery

During the recitation of the Patriotic Rosary at this morning's memorial service at Our Lady of Grace Cemetey located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, I couldn't help noticing so many graves which displayed American Flags (not sure if you can see them in this picture) for the Veteran's of all the wars in the 20th and 21st centuries. These Veteran's, some of whom paid a heavy price defending our nation, served their country to protect our God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

In the middle of this cemetery is our memorial Tomb of the Unborn.  How ironic that the victims of this war, perpetrated on God's precious unborn, which has been going on for over 44 years claiming over 60 million casualties, should be in the center of this cemetery surrounded by so many veterans.

How many of us are willing to stand up to defend the rights of our unborn brothers and sisters?  How many who have attended similar memorial services this morning will continue or begin to pray and give public witness outside of the local abortion mills?  Every one of us must step up and do all we can to stop the slaughter of these little ones.

One way we can do our part is to join a local 40 Days for Life Campaign.  Here is a link to all the campaigns taking place across the USA starting Wednesday, September 27th.  If you haven't already done so, please sign up today.

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion.  For more information, please use this link.

  1. Pat, very well articulated!!! Thank you for all the sacrifices. Everyone can pray but also act. Getting out of our comfort zones can be very challenging but consider all the horrific consequences that is the least a a person can do!!!

  2. Excellent points.
Abortion is an absolute assault on truth. A war against God.
It all began in innocently buying into the myth of contra-ception!
But this small pill has had the effect of a nuclear bomb destroying the core values of family, faith and community based around those values.
