Pennsylvanians for Human Life Hold their Annual Banquet February 28th

An important part of PHL’s educational mission is the sponsorship of an annual Celebrate Life Banquet. These banquets, as well as the luncheons and conferences which PHL has sponsored, serve three purposes.
  1. An opportunity to learn about issues and new developments in the battle to protect human lives.
  2. A social event enabling the supporters of PHL and of the right to life in general to meet and recognize that we are not alone and that we are not few.
  3. For the Annual Banquet in particular this is an important source of funds for the continuation of PHL’s mission.
Special guest speaker for this event is Alex Schadenberg, Founder Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.

Recipient of the Margaret Way Hoffner Award is John M. Travaline, M.D., Temple University, Professor of Thoracic Medicine, Bioethicist.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Bernadette Dugan, nursing liaison with Hospice Care at Riddle Memorial/Main Line Health.

Tickets can be purchased by sending a check made out to PHL Education Fund to 590 Snyder Avenue, Suite 201,West Chester, Pennsylvania 19382.  Cost is $75.00 per person or $700.00 for a table of 10.  Student tickets are $35.00 or $350.00 for a table of 10.

PHL is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization established in 1970 (before Roe v Wade) to provide educational presentations on pro-life issues. While a number of other pro-life organizations have been formed in the Philadelphia area since that time (other local pro-life organizations) PHL is the only one which has continuously focused on its original mission, education. The other organizations, many of them split off from PHL, have focused on other pro-life issues such as chastity, crisis pregnancy, political action, post-abortion support, and legislation.   For more information, use this link.
