Republicans on Friday re-elected pro-life RNC chairman Reince Priebus to another term as the national chairman of the GOP. Although Republican candidate Mitt Romney lost the presidential election in November, Priebus was credited with bringing the party back from financial ruin and making it much more competitive.
First elected in 2011, Priebus will serve another two year term that includes the 2014 midterm elections, after the RNC national delegates voted today. Priebus, a former chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party, paid down more than $24 million of debt and ended the year with more than $3 million in the bank, according to a CNN report.
