"I Am for Life" Campaign
“I am for Life” campaign aims to raise awareness about life through Facebook
byLaura Peredo
What would an abortion supporter do if she opened her Facebook
account on February 13 only to find that the majority of her friends had
changed their profile picture to the same pro-life photo?
This is exactly what Suzanne Bilodeau and Mike Gearing are trying to
make happen with their recently formed “I am For Life” Facebook page and event, scheduled to coincide with the next 40 Days for Life campaign. They’ve made a video explaining the campaign:
To participate, one can visit their Facebook page here and Twitter page here, and can RSVP to the Facebook event. This is your chance to spread the word that pro-lifers are for all life!
Laura, a freshman at Benedictine College, joined the pro-life movement
last year, and has been defending life ever since. In her 'free time'
she enjoys reading, striving to become a better Catholic, pro-life work,
baking, kickboxing, leading community events, and making lists. Laura
plans to devote the rest of her life to defending the lives of those who
cannot speak for themselves.
A new group called “I Am for Life” is both a page and an event on facebook and twitter. The group’s administrators are hoping that the majority of pro-life people will change their profile pictures to coincide with the 40 Days for Life Campaign which begins on February 13th. Links to their site are included in this article.
