God's own finger wrote in stone the commandments He gave to Moses, and through Moses to us.
"You shall not murder" refers to the deliberate act of taking an innocent human life, and is forever prohibited precisely because all life belongs to God, and God is life itself.
PRAYER:
Lord, Your prohibition on murder was literally written in stone and is unchangeable as You are. Give all Your people the gift of obedience.
