St. Gianna Physician's Guild
I am pleased to
announce that St. Gianna Physicians' Guild will be leading an eight day
pilgrimage to the shrines of St. Gianna Molla in Italy on the occasion
of this inspiring saint's Feast Day in April 2014. I have been planning this pilgrimage in collaboration with St. Gianna's children and I am sure it will be very memorable.
The
pilgrimage will also include three days in Rome where, among other
activities, our group will be present for a Papal Audience and blessed
to attend Holy Mass at the Altar of the Tomb of St. Peter with Cardinal Raymond Burke who will also honor us with his presence for dinner.
This
will be a unique opportunity to learn about the heroic virtues of this
inspiring saint while walking in her footsteps. The pilgrims will also
have the opportunity to meet St. Gianna's other children, Pierluigi and
Laura, who will share memories and insights into the life of their saint
mother. We will also participate in the Feast Day celebrations with the family and other faithful in St. Gianna's home town.
Other
places we will visit include Turin where we will trace the footsteps of
Saint John Bosco and Padua, the home of the great preacher, St.
Anthony.
The
pilgrimage will include daily Mass, spiritual talks and much, much
more. It will be a unique occasion to grow in your Catholic Faith. I
