Do You Live in a "Dangerous" State?‏

Americans United for Life evaluates the laws of the 50 states to see how safe women are from abortion industry abuses and tracks the progress of pro-life laws in a growing number of legislatures across the country.

With more than 200 recently-passed pro-life laws protecting women and their unborn children from abortion industry abuses, Americans United for Life’s legal team developed a ranking system that evaluates the 50 states based on how well they protect women from a predatory, profit-centered abortion industry.

During the week noting the tragic anniversary of Roe v. Wade, AUL released the2015 Women’s Health and Safety Rankings illustrating the level of legal protections found across the country, as outlined in the Women's Protection Project.

Only nine states offer strong legal protections for women; 16 states provide moderate protection, 12 states offer minimal protection and sadly, 13 states are ranked as dangerous for their failure to regulate the abortion industry by holding them accountable for the conditions they create that can endanger women.

The Health and Safety Rankings were released along with a ranking of the 50 states detailing their accomplishments for life.
