I wanted to make you aware of the fact that Rep. Mark Rozzi is circulating a co-sponsorship memo for a doctor-prescribed suicide bill (See the memo here)
It is based on the deeply flawed law in Oregon—a state in which the so-called safeguards simply aren’t working.
Please let the members of your individual groups and constituencies know that they should contact their state representatives and urge them Not to co-sponsor this dangerous bill, which is being called the CARE Act.
If individuals do not know who their state representatives are, or they need the phone numbers for the representatives’ offices, they can find the information using this link.
We simply do not want to reverse Pennsylvania’s long-standing policy against assisted suicide!
