Lutherans for Life - Fort Wayne, Indiana Branch,  were presented with the Telemachus Award at the annual Allen County Right to Life picnic this past Sunday.

The Telemachus Award is given in recognition of faithfully and courageously speaking for innocent human life. Historically presented at the annual fall banquet, it is now awarded at the annual Picnic.

The members of The Allen County Right to Life organization are united by a common concern for the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death.

This concern is expressed particularly to reaffirm and to protect the right to life of all human beings, including, but not limited to: the unborn; the mentally ill or retarded; the “unwanted;” the physically handicapped; the aged; and the incurably ill. Follow this link  for more information.

The mission of Lutherans For Life is to equip Lutherans to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life. This makes us different than other for life groups. We want to equip Lutherans to be positive, life-affirming voices that uphold the truth of the God-given value of human life both in local congregations and in society.
