Attorney General Who Charged David Daleiden With 15 Felonies Received Thousands From Planned Parenthood

The Attorney General in California has charged pro-life activist David Daleiden with 15 felonies for his investigative work exposing the Planned Parenthood abortion business and its sales of aborted baby parts.

Not surprisingly, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the Planned Parenthood abortion company.

As LifeNews.com reported today, Becerra slammed pro-life undercover investigator David Daleiden with 15 felony charges on Tuesday, claiming he illegally recorded Planned Parenthood abortion workers and groups that distribute aborted babies’ body parts.

Becerra, a Democrat, announced the charges Tuesday against Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress. Daleiden and CMP fired back with a new video exposing Planned Parenthood.

California requires that both parties consent to be recorded. Becerra alleges that Daleiden and Merritt broke the law by filming their conversations with abortionists and others without their consent, according to the report.

But reports from the center for responsive politics show Planned Parenthood has been a long time contributor to Becerra’s campaigns. The Planned Parenthood abortion business gave Becerra $1,000 in 2014, $2,000 in 2012, $500 in 2004, $1,000 in 2002, and $1,035 in 1998. When pro-abortion Governor Jerry Brown name Becerra to the Attorney General post, the Planned Parenthood abortion company was delighted.

The Center for Medical Progress responded on Tuesday by calling the charges “bogus.”

“The public knows the real criminals are Planned Parenthood and their business partners,” Daleiden’s group said in a statement. “We look forward to showing the entire world what is on our yet-unreleased videotapes of Planned Parenthood’s criminal baby body parts enterprise, in vindication of the First Amendment rights of all.”
