Pennsylvanian's for Human Life will host their annual banquet on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Springfield Country Club. Special guest speaker for the event this year is Ann McElhinney, a New York Times best-selling author. Ann along with her husband, Phelem McAleer wrote 'Gosnell, The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer' and produced 'Gosnell the Movie'.

Ann's book debuted at #3 on Amazon Best Seller list and sold out in three days after publication.  Ann along with her husband and film director, Magdalena Seigieda produced the Gosnell movie.  They financed the movie by running a massive crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. It was Indiegogo's most successful campaign every.

James Wood, the Philadelphia detective who led the Gosnell investigation will be the recipient of the Margaret Hoffner Award, Pennsylvanian's for Human Life's highest award.

Tickets are $75.00 each or $700 for a table of ten. Student tickets are $35.00 each. Additional information on this banquet can be found at their website using this link or by calling 610-696-0780.

An important part of PHL’s educational mission is the sponsorship of an annual Celebrate Life Banquet. These banquets, as well as the luncheons and conferences which PHL has sponsored, serve three purposes.
  • An opportunity to learn about issues and new developments in the battle to protect human lives.
  • A social event enabling the supporters of PHL and of the right to life in general to meet and recognize that we are not alone and that we are not few.
  • For the Annual Banquet in particular this is an important source of funds for the continuation of PHL’s mission.

PHL is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization established in 1970 (before Roe v Wade) to provide educational presentations on pro-life issues. While a number of other pro-life organizations have been formed in the Philadelphia area since that time, PHL is the only one which has continuously focused on its original mission, education. The other organizations, many of them split off from PHL, have focused on other pro-life issues such as chastity, crisis pregnancy, political action, post-abortion support, and legislation.
