They Sacrificed … so We Could Fight for Life

Shawn Carney, President/CEO
40 Days for Life

We recognize that ending abortion locally isn't something we have to do; it's something we get to do.

Fighting to end abortion isn’t easy. It's a spiritual battle fraught with challenges.

In the United States, our right to stand in the public square – peacefully praying for an end to abortion – was secured through heroic sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform.

Tune in to the following episodes of the 40 Days for Life podcast, where we share how you and patriots everywhere can use your rights to help end abortion where you live.

Without these key rights, 40 Days for Life would not exist.

More importantly ... 14,643 abortion appointments scheduled out of despair wouldn't have happy endings.

For each of those moms, the tears of regret that would have followed an abortion have been replaced by the indescribable joy of a child’s smile. And none of this would be possible without patriots willing to exercise their freedom for love of God ... and love of country.

As we commemorate Memorial Day, let us recall that there's no greater tribute we can pay to those who gave their lives for our freedom than to use that freedom ourselves.

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion. It draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:Prayer and fasting; Constant vigil;  and Community outreach.  For more information, please use this link.
