CLOSED! After a 67% Drop

Shawn CarneyPresident/CEO
40 Days for Life

I have been to Fort Wayne many times, and if abortion can survive there, it can survive anywhere.

Today, Fort Wayne is abortion-free after seeing the last abortion location close there.

Planned Parenthood in Fort Wayne, Indiana has gone out of business after two 40 Days for Life vigils took place in front of it.

Worldwide, 96 abortion facilities have closed their doors following a 40 Days for Life campaign.

In addition to those 96, more than a dozen abortion referral centers have ceased operations after a 40 Days for Life campaign, including this new Fort Wayne closure.

This isn't the community's first abortion business to close. The Fort Wayne Women's Health Organization abortion center closed after nine 40 Days for Life campaigns.

Planned Parenthood blamed the closure on "intimidation" from local pro-lifers. Of course, there's no intimidation at a 40 Days for Life campaign.

Allen County Right to Life, which hosts 40 Days for Life campaigns in Fort Wayne, noted a more likely explanation for the closure: client visits to the Planned Parenthood facility had dropped by 67 percent in the last decade.

Even though Fort Wayne is now abortion-free, participants aren't calling it quits. They will continue to host a peaceful 40 Days for Life vigil in the community to make sure every woman at risk of leaving town for an abortion knows that help is available.

Do you want your city to be abortion-free?

In less than a month, the next 40 Days for Life campaign starts--running from September 26 to November 4.

Get ready by finding the location nearest you and sign up now to pray and fast for an end to abortion!
