Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Vice President of Government Affairs, former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave will join Rep. Mia Love for a campaign event. SBA List Candidate Fund previously endorsed Rep. Love for re-election.
“Congresswoman Mia Love’s heartfelt defense of the most fundamental right, the right to life, has never wavered. Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund is proud to endorse her and I am honored to join her today,” said Musgrave.
“Rep. Love has worked diligently to protect the unborn, their mothers, and the conscience rights of Utah taxpayers throughout her time in Congress. Her work to expose Planned Parenthood’s role in the trafficking of baby body parts and stop the flow of tax dollars to the abortion industry is exactly why we need her leadership and voice to remain in Washington.”Rep. Love has represented the 4th District in Congress since 2015. From 2004-2010 she served on the Saratoga Springs, Utah City Council and then served as mayor from 2010-2014. She was awarded SBA List’s “Marilyn Musgrave Defender of Life Award” in 2016.
Love is a co-sponsor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Preventing Maternal Deaths Act, and the Conscience Protection Act, among others. She was appointed to serve on the Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, working to expose the sale of fetal tissue from aborted babies.
In 2017, she was a featured speaker at the March for Life in Washington, D.C. She and her husband Jason have three children and live in Saratoga Springs.
