Defining Marriage - Defending DOMA

Marriage is our most important and timeless social institution. Marriage is a personal promise between a husband and wife that accomplishes a unique and special public purpose -- providing children with a secure social and legal attachment to both their mother and father (while also binding together the mother and father themselves). Redefining marriage fundamentally undermines this public purpose by saying (legally, socially, and culturally) that both men and women -- moms and dads -- are not essential to children, the family, or our future.

  1. Patricia Dowling said it well and the film was direct, clear and to the point. Today our votes are being challenged in the courts and usurped by progressive judges thus causing our beliefs and representation to become null and void by the process of elimination; that is not only a bully ruling...its truer name is referred to as tyranny!
