Public Witness Against Steven Brigham's Abortion Chamber in Northeast Philadelphia

Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Please join this event at 9622 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115. The name of this abortion chamber is "Integrity Family Health." The purpose of the event is to urge Gov. Corbett's Department of Health to enforce their order prohibiting Steven Brigham from having any relationship with any Pa. abortion facility.

Brief History and Context

In August 2010, the Pa. Department of Health (DOH) ordered Steven Brigham not to have any relationship with any abortion facility in Pa. because of his repeated hiring of unlicensed physicians and fake nurses. Brigham had once run five abortion chambers in Pa., i.e., in Allentown, Erie, King of Prussia, Pittsburgh and State College. In response to this order, Brigham transferred ownership of his two remaining abortion chambers, in Allentown and Pittsburgh, to his mother, Judith Fitch, who lives in Toledo, Ohio. Gov. Rendell's DOH accepted this fraud and did not close these abortion chambers.

Despite his promises as Pa. Attorney General and as a 2010 Gubernatorial candidate, and the abortionist Kermit Gosnell scandal uncovered in January 2011, Gov. Corbett's DOH allowed Brigham to continue operating these ACs.
In April 2012, Gov. Corbett's DOH finally closed Brigham's Allentown and Pittsburgh abortion chambers. The DOH took this action because of the strong advocacy of Lt. Gov. Cawley and the effect of the State of Maryland, in January 2012, charging Brigham with first degree murder in the death of a woman at his secret abortion chamber in Elkton, Maryland.

In this incident, Brigham began a late-term abortion on a mother at his abortion chamber in Voorhees, New Jersey, which was the only state where Brigham was allowed to "practice medicine," as four other states, including Pa., had revoked his medical license. Because of "complications," Brigham drove this mother to his Elkton, MD abortion chamber, where he and abortionist Nicola Riley further injured this mother and then abandoned her to die at a local hospital emergency room. Brigham has numerous similar "incidents" in his "career."

To his credit, Gov. Corbett supported Lt. Gov. Cawley in his April 2012 actions against Brigham's remaining Pa. abortion chambers. Then, Lt. Gov. Cawley promised that the DOH would "closely scrutinize" any new applications by an abortion chamber associated with Steven Brigham.

Despite this promise, in September 2013, the DOH granted a license to this new Brigham-associated abortion chamber in Northeast Philadelphia. Even worse, despite numerous requests from many Pa. pro-life leaders
to officials in his administration, Gov. Corbett's DOH has refused to withdraw this license.

Call To Action

Gov. Corbett needs to hear from us - through this event and calls, letters and e-mails - that he should remove the current pro-abortion leaders at DOH and close Brigham's Northeast Philadelphia abortion chamber. Gov. Corbett's contact information is 200 Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120; 717-787-2500; governor@pa.gov.

Directions:
