40 Days for Life’s Spring 2014 Campaign ended this last Sunday. We had our rally to celebrate, and commemorate LIFE and our results during that time. We had turnaways, three days the facility shut down unexpectedly, AND the facility manager QUIT. And while her departure is great news, she will be replaced.
Yes, the vigil for 40 Days if over but the job at hand is NOT over! Yesterday was one of the busiest days I’ve seen in a long time. The parking lot was overflowing. One of the worst things I see at the facilities is these guys dropping off women to abort while they sit in their cars chatting someone up on their cell phones laughing and smoking. Their baby is being murdered, torn from their mother’s body and they laugh.
I saw a man drop off a woman that left to pick up the money order for the abortion. He got out of the car, head down, wiping away tears. And even though this was hard to see, this man is still accountable for the death of this child because he did not stop it.
Precious few people will tell us if they decided to not abort. To that I have always said to look through spiritual eyes and let God have the results. If He wants us to know them, I assure you, He will. Remember, giving up is NOT an option.
