Planned Parenthood Caters to Sex Traffickers: "It's Nobody's Business."

from Alexandra Snyder, Executive Director
Life Legal Defense Foundation

Before joining Life Legal, I worked in Washington DC where I helped draft legislation to protect child victims of sex trafficking. I learned that most victims are first exploited by their parents, then by their traffickers, and finally by Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood’s tagline is “Care. No Matter What.” But the abortion giant’s true mantra is sex without questions or consequences. So if a young girl enters a clinic with an older man who is clearly controlling her, they can’t let something like the fact that she is legally a minor and unable to consent to sex get in the way of providing birth control. No Matter What.

They don’t consider that a twelve-year-old just doesn’t wake up one day thinking that selling her body for sex seems like a good career option. What’s important to Planned Parenthood is making sure she gets a timely abortion so she gets back on the death spiral as quickly as possible. No Matter What.

They won’t ask about her age or what her relationship is to the guy who dragged her there because the objective is to provide her with “protection.” No Matter What.

Never mind that the protection is for the benefit of the men who will pay to rape her. We wouldn’t want them to have to worry about catching anything. After all, Planned Parenthood cares. No Matter What.

A few years ago, Live Action recorded a series of videos showing Planned Parenthood’s callous indifference to the plight of girls who were clearly being bought and sold for sex. In one video, a self-identified sex trafficker speaks with a Planned Parenthood employee about the teenage girls he “manages” and expresses his concerns regarding confidentiality.

The response from Planned Parenthood? “Frankly, it’s nobody’s business.”

Planned Parenthood—which continues to receive hundreds of millions of dollars in direct taxpayer funding—only cares about two things. Number one is protecting its bottom line. We saw that clearly with the videos David Daleiden released showing PP directors negotiating the sale of aborted babies for profit. And number two is promoting sex without boundaries, including the boundaries of consent or legality.

Life Legal has created a petition to let Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan know that we expect them to stop forcing taxpayers to subsidize an organization that exhibits an utter lack of respect for the rule of law and a callous disregard for the sanctity of human life.

Please sign the petition to demand that Congress defund Planned Parenthood. No Matter What.
