Abortion Pills "Safer Than Aspirin?"

from Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance

Ann Furedi, author of the book ironically titled "A Moral Case for Abortion", is pushing to legalize the online sale of abortion pills like RU-486.

She claims that women should be allowed to purchase abortion pills for themselves online, because RU-486 is “safer than aspirin.”

Safe for who?

Aspirin takes the edge off a headache. RU-486 has ended three million innocent unborn lives.

Which sounds “safer” to you?

But the fact is, abortion pills have been a tremendous boon to the abortion industry, because they appear deceptively convenient and inconsequential.

Plus, abortionists don’t have to soil their hands with the dirty work of performing a surgical abortion.

They can just leave women to the agony of delivering their dead babies alone in their bedrooms -- all while raking in $500 for every set of pills sold.

This is the very definition of callousness.

But whether an abortion is performed by means of a pill or a surgery, the end result is the same: a dead child.

So, no, abortion pills are not “safer than aspirin.”

The National Pro-Life Alliance occupies a unique and important role in the pro-life movement. The focus of many other pro-life organizations is research, publications or counseling. These are all important and worthy activities, but the National Pro-Life Alliance is singular in its focus on passing pro-life legislation that will protect the unborn from the moment of conception onward. For more information on the National Pro-Life Alliance or to make a donation, please use this link.
