Voices for Life Is a blog dedicated to informing and educating the public on pro-life and pro-family issues.
Our focus is to protect the sanctity of all human life from conception until natural death. This includes protecting babies from abortion, fetal tissue experimentation, and embryonic research; and the general population from euthanasia, cloning, population control and human genetic engineering.

Pro-Life Waco April Action Update
from John Pisciotta, Director of Pro-Life Waco
1.Big event will be announced next week. Fasten your seatbelt.
2.Pedestrian Overpass Outreach this Saturday, I-35 near Baylor 10 AM to noon The next big opportunity for the NEVER Again in Waco gang to gather in outreach is Saturday, April 22, from 10 AM to noon at the pedestrian overpass near Baylor. We will have a NEVER Again in Waco banner and also other banners to send the pro-life message to thousands of travelers on Interstate 35. This is an enjoyable and powerful pro-life outreach. If you try it, you will like it, as our personal presence proclaims to thousands. “We defend innocent babies from destruction in Waco and the world.” Take South 8th street to I-35 and park near Panera Bread (1000 S. 8th Street). There is plenty of street parking available.
3.Big push now on petition drive: personal and at your church. We have a strong petition drive underway with close to 2,000 signed up to our paper petition forms. I have sent copies of the first batch of petition pages to Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas leadership in Austin. To maintain momentum and build the NEVER Again movement,
I ask you to propose and work with your pastor for a Sunday petition drive at your church. So far, First Baptist Woodway, St. Louis, St. Mary's, and Sacred Heart have had petition drives after Sunday services. Each of these churches produced hundreds of signatures—over 700 at Sacred Heart. A Sunday petition outreach does not require a lot of personpower. With a strong encouragement from the pulpit, a handful of members with clipboards and petition pages can be very effective. I am ready to collaborate with a petition drive captain.
The petition form can be access and printed HERE Alternatively, I can print and provide petition forms to you. You can also keep petition forms with you on a clipboard to solicit support. Ellen Staniszewski has set up a table near the entrance to the Thornton Post Office for her personal petition drive. Our cause is a matter of life and death.
We cannot simply be “fans” opposing the return of abortion to Waco and Central Texas. We must be vigorous and courageous “players on the field.” Fully or partially filled out petition forms can be mailed to PLW, PO Box 7771, Waco, TX 76714 or deposited in the mail drop of my residence at 4200 Grim Ave. Here are St. Louis Church petition drive photos.
4. Has your church displayed the NEVER Again yard sign? A yard sign at a home speaks powerfully. A yard sign at your church is beyond powerful. We need and are receiving public support from churches. Please visit with your pastor about a sign or two at your church. Photos of signs now at churches below. Signs are always available at the front door of my residence at 4200 Grim Ave. Of course, signs are free.
