“Neither Do I Condemn You”

An Invitation to Post-Abortion Healing

Pro-Life Action League

In the Catholic liturgical calendar, the story of the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1-11).

One thing I find amazing about this Gospel passage is that it almost didn’t make it into the Bible. In fact, before the canon of Scripture was finalized in the late 4th century, some copies of St. John’s Gospel didn’t include this story.

St. Augustine tells us (cf. De coniugiis adulterinis, 2, 6) that some early Christians were afraid of keeping this story in John’s Gospel since it showed Jesus as being so merciful that they thought it might lead people to think that the reality of sin wasn’t as serious as the Church made it out to be.

Apparently, the Holy Spirit wasn’t concerned about this, since He made sure the story was kept in there.

The story of the woman caught in adultery was the inspiration behind a post-abortion healing brochure [PDF] the Pro-Life Action League designed a few years ago. On the front is an image of Jesus and the woman, and the words “Neither do I condemn you.” On the back is information on where to find help dealing with post-abortion aftermath, and the message, “Please give this card to someone who needs it.”

The Abortion Lobby Likes to Talk about Choice….

Except This One

by Adam Peters
Live Action News

There’s not many people who say they’re “pro-abortion.” That’s kinda strange when you think about it; people who support gun rights don’t mind describing themselves as “pro-gun.” And yet (withsome exceptions), abortion advocates get upset when they’re called pro-abortion.

Instead, they prefer to be known as “pro-choice,” as if their only goal is to make sure pregnant women have a range of options to choose from. That would be a little more believable if they weren’t saying things like this:

Cultural Evils: Floating With the Current‏

by Ray Sullivan
Catholic Stand

Today, so many things that used to be considered evil are now part of the mainstream culture. Let’s take a look at some of these abominations.

Abortion

This horror has been legalized in America since January 22, 1973. In a strange judicial decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, Roe vs. Wade established for the very first time in America that our Constitution guarantees each American the “right to privacy.” Now this right to privacy is invisible in the Constitution, as it isn’t mentioned anywhere in the document, such as the enumerated Right to Life is in the Declaration of Independence. But the Justices found it in there, somehow, and used it as a point of departure to then say that women now have a right to kill their unborn baby. All of this fuzzy leap of logic leaves most intelligent people scratching their heads, since there is no right to an abortion in the Constitution either. To the Catholic Church, it looks like a predetermined outcome was justified with judicial ju-jitsu, so to speak.

Today, with mandatory GPS tracking devices on all new cars sold, NSA snooping on our cell phone calls, and the government taking over the Internet through FCC fiat, is there really any more privacy in America? Of course there isn’t! So now that we no longer have a de facto right to privacy anymore, maybe the Supreme Court could act more like the Supreme Being and do away with this infanticide. We may have already killed off the person, through abortion, who would have discovered a cure for cancer, or who could have saved us from nuclear war in 2050. The devil so hates the fact that we are made in the image and likeness of God, and not of him, that he attacks the fruit of the womb in the womb itself, a place that Jesus Himself sanctified as being holy by living there for nine months.

Even the “Teaching of the Twelve Apostles,” or the “Didache” from the first century, warns against abortion in Chapter Two. (Back then, there were drugs from plants which were used to abort children).

Homosexuality

Same sex attraction has been in the world since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, as referenced in the Old Testament. As Catholics, we are called to love homosexuals and to pray for them, but that doesn’t mean that we have to go along with their agenda. Both Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of homosexuality, not because of “a lack of hospitality” to the angels, as the current propaganda might have you believe.

The Bible says in Genesis 19:4-5 that the men of the city demanded that the male visitors to Lot’s house come out so that they may “know them.” In a really weird reply, Lot even offered his two daughters to the mob, but the male mob refused them, preferring the men instead. In the New Testament book of Jude 1:7 says that Sodom and Gomorrah engaged in unnatural lust and served as an example to us by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

How many people today “go along to get along” with the radical homosexual agenda by embracing so-called “homosexual marriage?” A Lot (pardon the pun!). It is never a virtue to embrace sin; rather, it’s a vice. Satan has disguised this radical agenda, which mocks God’s very first covenant with mankind, marriage (Adam and Eve), as being a civil rights issue instead of a moral issue. The radical homosexual movement also mocks the covenant with Noah, by using a rainbow flag as their standard. The Bible also says in 2 Peter 3:10 that the world ends in a fire. In my opinion, it’s because nations are becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah, and therefore, we will eventually have the exact same punishment.

Embryonic Stem Cell Research

President George W. Bush opened this can of worms when he allowed embryonic stem cell research on stem cell lines from aborted babies that already existed. President Obama has since enlarged the scope of this Dr. Mengele–like research by allowing embryonic stem cell research on existing and newly aborted baby tissue.

For the record, the Church does allow research from adult stem cells. This facts has proven to be fruitful. In spite of pleas from Hollywood stars that embryonic stem cell research from aborted children holds the key to cures for disease, to date, this statement has proven to be totally false.

Assisted Suicide

The Hemlock Society has been very powerful in several states promoting their “right-to-die” philosophy. Doctors who once took the Hippocratic Oath to “Do No Harm” now help depressed and terminally ill people to kill themselves. Of course, God says “Thou shalt not kill” (innocent life), but many “modern” Americans could care less about what God has commanded.

God uses the dying process and suffering to prepare us for heaven and to reduce our purgatory time, and thus by thwarting His holy will by suicide, we may just be condemning ourselves to either hell or a very long purgatory. Life is His to give, and it is His to take. In the 2005 case of Terry Schiavo, assisted suicide morphed from giving poison to dying patients to kill them into denying patients food and water. This end-of-life treatment is a classic example of Satan’s temptation to Adam and Eve to “be like gods,” deciding when and how we and others shall die, instead of letting God decide.

Artificial Contraception

Artificial contraception was once considered sinful for all religions, until 1930, when the Anglican Church declared it not be sinful. Since then all Protestant churches have downgraded this former sin to now be considered good. God told Adam and Eve to “be fruitful and multiply.” To reemphasize this, he also told Noah and his wife the same thing. So many couples want to limit the number of children they have, not trusting in Almighty God to give them the right number of children at the right time in their lives. Rather, they prefer to trust in chemicals and/or latex instead.

God loves children, and he created sex so that as a result, we could have children. God even says in Psalm 127 that “happy is the man who has a quiver full of sons.” Of course, artificial contraception gives a lot of men and women license to fool around and not to have to suffer “the penalty” (as our current President said) of having a baby. However, artificial contraception is not 100% foolproof, and so abortion has become the backup plan for the failure of artificial contraception. In fact, in every country where artificial contraception became legal, abortion was soon legalized as well.

Summation

There are other numerous issues that the modern world now considers to be good and right, but are not: human cloning, government controlled health care, high taxation, socialism, etc. It seems that the people in control of our media have brainwashed a lot of people into believing that evil is good, and good is evil (Isaiah 5:20). It only takes one battery placed backwards in a flashlight to prevent any light from coming out of the flashlight. Our society today is a lot like that. We now live in the new dark ages, where journalists, scientists, politicians, and professors all lecture us about how evil the Catholic Church is for opposing sodomy and so-called homosexual marriage, while at the same time they are extolling the alleged virtues of abortion and unlimited sex.

As G.K. Chesterton once said,
“Only dead things float with the current; it takes living things to swim against it."

Tolerance of evil is never a virtue; rather, it’s always a vice. Our modern day 21st century culture now DEMANDS that we tolerate evil and ignore sacred Scripture and Tradition. Only the very strong among Jesus’ children will survive this psychological onslaught of filth, through prayer, the rosary, frequent Holy Communion, and daily Bible reading.

Now is the time, this is the place, to declare ourselves one with Christ.

As Jesus said in Luke 18:8, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”

Actually rode the Vomit Comet at NASA in Houston once, being totally weightless for 20 minutes! Married with two kids and Vinnie the Wonder Dog. I love the Church and what it stands for. SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: WHO PAYS FOR THE CRIME OF THE RAPIST?

by Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

According to State Representative Teresa Fedor [D], innocent rape conceived babies do. Ms. Fedor took to the floor of the Ohio House to shamelessly grandstand about her rape and abortion to continue the rampage on the innocent rather than focus on the crime of the rapist. What Fedor did was deplorable and dishonoring to all women and their rape conceived babies. Click here to see testimonies of people conceived in rape or kept their children.
Fedor wants ‘respect’ for her abortion when in reality she pretty much spit on everyone else’s testimony of being conceived in rape and lived to tell the story OR a mom who brought her rape conceived daughter to the Ohio Statehouse to prove the dignity and humanity of each and every child conceived in rape. It is those I applaud for their honesty and love. Read original testimonies here[scroll down to HB69].
And without a doubt, her story has made every hag rag in America to further her agenda.

#TOLERATION BYTES: BRINGING TRUE AMERICAN FREEDOM BACK TO INDIANA

by Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

Dear Governor Mike Pence: THANK YOU! You have done more of what you promised than most other lawmakers in these United States ever attempt. No empty promises, no closed doors. And even though the usual suspects hate you and your pro-American agenda, WE APPLAUD YOU!

You have said a resounding NO to protecting certain social classes knowing that every American is protected equally under the current Federal law. You are keenly aware, as all lawmakers should be, of our fought for Constitution and its actual contents. Considering recent events, I have to wonder if anyone who believes themselves above the law has actual read what thousands of our forefathers died for. Certainly the Supreme Court and the current administration has decided themselves to be as God rather than the public servants they were elected for or appointed to be.

Pro-abortion Children’s Book Calls Aborted Baby Girl a ‘Happy Ghost’

by Cassy Fiano
Live Action News

Many people who find out that they had a sibling who was aborted are not happy about it. And why should they be? An entire childhood was stolen from them, a brother or sister taken away. What kind of memories might they have had? A lifetime of playing together, of stupid fights and giggling and bonding, is gone. It’s understandable that people would have mixed emotions about it, at the very least.

Of course, the pro-abortion lobby doesn’t care about the reality of abortion, or the trail of devastation it leaves in its wake. And case in point is a new pro-abortion book, written for children, in which a little boy discovers that he has an older sister who was aborted, and rather than being devastated by it, gleefully proclaims that his sister is a “happy ghost”.

“Sister Apple, Sister Pig” is a free e-book written by Mary Walling Blackburn, assistant professor of art at Southern Methodist University, and founder of the Anhoek School, an “experimental” all-women’s school.

League Shows the Beauty of Life in the Womb

by John Jansen
Pro-Life Action League

Wednesday, March 25th, 7:25am: We start unloading signs from Eric Scheidler’s van at the intersection of of Madison and Wacker in downtown Chicago. A few seconds later, some guy calls out to us, “A****es!”

We’re used to that. But usually when people yell at us, it’s because we’re displaying pictures of abortion victims. Not this time, however.

We decided to switch things up a bit and elected to display only beautiful photos of babies born and unborn to highlight the humanity of children in the womb. Wednesday also happened to be the Feast of the Annunciation, when we recall the conception of Jesus in the womb of His mother Mary — and we thought this was a perfect opportunity to show the beauty of every child from the moment of conception.

Yet even with only “nice” signs, some people, like the fellow mentioned above, were still offended by our message. Many others, however, offered us sincere words of thanks and commended us for our presence.

Monthly Overpass Demonstration: A New Outreach for Pro-Life

From John Pisciotta
Director of Pro-Life Waco

The inaugural overpass demonstration in Waco happened last Tuesday. We are calling the event “Defend the Innocent Pre-born Babies” Overpass Demonstration.

The weather was windy, but beautiful. We are learning how to thrive up on the overpass. Seven pro-lifers who have demonstrated in the past came out. It was also encouraging that seven students from Baylor University also participated. They were happy to receive and wear PLW’s “LIFEGUARD” t-shirts. Since, the overpass is adjacent to Baylor, as the months unfold we hope for increasing Baylor involvement.

Over the coming months we will have to develop new signage. Vehicles pouring through Interstate 35 have no more then two or three seconds to read messages. Signs need to be large, bold, and have strong contrast between lettering and background.

We counted vehicles in one-minute segments and came up with about 120 per minute. Since we were out there 120 minutes, this would come to over 14,000 vehicles, many with multiple passengers. The overpass offers a tremendous opportunity to plant pro-life seeds in the minds and hearts of those traveling within Waco and also through Waco from Texas and far beyond.

Pro-Life Waco is new at this. I welcome suggestions from experienced overpass demonstrators. Thanks to Chris Iverson and others from Chicago. Chris posted on their overpass demonstrations to this Facebook group. Thant nudged pro-life to take advantage of the incredible overpass resource we have in Waco.

Finally, I would like to know about other enclosed pedestrian overpasses on Interstate or other well-traveled highways in Texas. I have not seen any such overpass on I-35 between Waco and San Antonio.

Romania and the Republic of Moldova’s March for Life 2015 – “Every Life Is a Gift”

Romanian pro-life movement gets more visible

On March 21st, 2015, on World’s Down Syndrome Day, 77 Romanian cities and 2 cities from the Republic of Moldova hosted the March for Life 2015 – “Every Life Is a Gift”. The big cities have more experience from previous editions and people have become accustomed to the event, which has been reflected in the number of participants: twice as many as last year. The march is part of a more comprehensive series of events, The Pro-Life Week, involving conferences, debates, live performances, film projections, exhibitions and other such manifestations dedicated to life, children and family issues.

The March for Life has the goal of raising awareness on the value of each human life, regardless of its stage of development, the number of chromosomes or possible disabilities. The focus was on celebrating life (with messages such as: “Every life is a gift” or “Mother, thank you for having me”). These messages and the fact that the event is apolitical and inter-confessional was the secret of success in bringing together all forces in favor of life. This year, the visual branding was more coherent, common across Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with colorful and positive signs and messages made by Studenti pentru Viata association, the main organizer.

New York Senate Republicans Expected to Block Bill Declaring State Commitment to Abortion

From Christian News Network
ALBANY, New York – Republicans in the New York Senate are expected to block the advancement of a bill that declares the state’s commitment to allowing abortion within its borders, and formally removes abortion from the state’s penal code.

AB 6221 had been presented by Assembly Member Deborah Glick (D-Manhattan), and was approved by the Assembly on Tuesday 94-49 after a lengthy debate. The short measure points to the 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade as its basis and seeks to codify the court opinion as state law.

(see article here from LifeNews.com on this bill)

“The state shall not deny a woman’s right to obtain an abortion as established by the United States Supreme Court in the decision Roe v. Wade,” the bill reads. “Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, New York protects a woman’s right to terminate a pregnancy within 24 weeks from commencement of her pregnancy, or when necessary to protect a woman’s life or health as determined by a licensed physician.”

VFTU Note:

I would urge everyone in New York to contact their State Senators to make sure they do block this bill.  You can find your State Senator by using this link.

Follow this link to a summary of this bill and a list of  how your Assembly members voted.    Please take a moment to thank those who voted against this bill and take issue with those who did.

We in the pro-life movement need to take a more active role in keeping bills such as this from becoming law.

Human Traffickers Prey on the Vulnerable

and Planned Parenthood helps them do it!

Former left-wing talk radio star Jian Ghomeshi spent much of his airtime attacking sexism and violence against women. According to female subordinates, he spent much of his off-airtime attacking them with gropes, degrading comments and threats of violence.

Obviously, Mr. Ghomeshi wasn’t the first to accuse others of the very things he’s allegedly guilty of. That happens a lot in the abortion debate, too, which is why you tend to see stuff like this:

Pro-Life Leaders Arrested at Speaker Boehner's Office Demanding Vote on Late-Term Abortion Ban

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Washington, DC - Eight pro-life leaders, including Operation Rescue's Troy Newman, were arrested this morning outside House Speaker John Boehner's office while kneeling in prayer and in protest that a vote on the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act has not received a promised vote.

Other leaders placed under arrest included pro-life blogger Jill Stanek, Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, and Katie Mahoney, a long-time pro-life spokesperson.

It issue was the cancellation of a promised vote set for January 22, 2015, on the bill that would have banned abortions after 20 weeks in all 50 states. Pro-life leaders were promised that the vote would be re-scheduled "immediately," yet two months later, there is no vote in sight.

"We were betrayed, gave them 2 extra months. Get a vote together," said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue in a tweet posted by Jill Stanek.

Newman continued, "Though we may lose our freedom temporarily it's nothing compared to what happens to the babies."

The event was meant to draw public attention to the late-term abortion ban and the fact that it is being needlessly delayed.

Tragic Munoz Case Prompts New Texas Law that Would Protect Baby When Mom is on Life Support

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Austin, TX - When 33-year old Marlise Munoz suddenly collapsed in her Texas home in November 2013, she was 14 weeks pregnant with her second child."Still alive," she was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth. There she was put on life support where she remained for two months.

Thus began a legal struggle between the hospital and the Munoz family that prompted a national debate on whether families have the right to order a hospital to "pull the plug" on pregnant women on life support if it means killing the pre-born baby as well.

Friday, Texas State Representative Matt Krause introduced HB 1901, the Unborn Child Due Process Act, which would further clarify a legal provision in the Texas Advanced Directives Act that currently prohibits anyone from withdrawing or withholding life-sustaining treatment from a pregnant patient. The bill would allow the state to appoint an attorney ad litem "to represent the unborn child's interests" in cases where "the life-sustaining treatment of a pregnant patient is at issue."

A Catholic School Removes Teacher for Defending Faith

By Anne Hendershott
Crisis Magazine

In the past few weeks, there has been an escalation of the attacks against the Church in places like the Archdiocese of San Francisco where Sam Singer, the head of a high priced Public Relations firm, was hired to wage war on Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone because of the archbishop’s strong defense of marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Organizing protests, and enlisting the local media to help him in his battle against the archbishop, Singer has been successful in waging a well-funded media war on the Church and her teachings.

Likewise, in the Diocese of Scranton, Pennsylvania, a battle began last week against a priest who gave permission to show a pro-life film, To Be Born, to a sixth grade CCD class. Described in the local newspaper as holding “rabid anti-abortion views,” the priest—a pastor who is beloved and greatly respected by his faithful parishioners at St. Monica’s Catholic Church—was called a “bully” in a front page story of the Wilkes Barre newspaper. Unfortunately, instead of fighting back with the truth of Catholic teachings on the sanctity of life, the priest has appeared to accept the criticism of showing a pro-life film to “sensitive” sixth graders by admitting that he “showed poor judgment” in allowing the pro-life film to be shown. The CCD teacher who showed the pro-life film has resigned. She was already under attack from parents because she had the temerity to disclose to her students that “not everyone goes to Heaven.”

March for Life in Lima Breaks All Records!‏

PRI Organizes Largest Pro-Life March in Latin American History

by Susannah Cavanaugh
Population Research Institute

On Saturday, March 21st, 2015 more than a half million people marched in the streets of the Peruvian capital in defense of innocent unborn human life. Planned and organized by the Latin American office of the Population Research Institute, the March for Life in Lima was a huge success.

The March for Life in Lima has surpassed all of its records for pro-life marches and is now the largest pro-life march in all of Latin American history.

On the sunniest day of the year so far, one participant Peruvian said, “This was the greatest public event ever in Peruvian History!”

Here are what other Peruvians said about the March:
To be alive. To give Life. To receive Life.”
“All the people were celebrating Life.”
“All those young people singing and dancing tell you that the future will be better for all of us and many unborn babies will be saved from abortions.”
“One day, in the not too distant future, abortion will be remembered as a dark point in the history of mankind, similar to slavery or the Nazi Holocaust.”

Truly, this is a great time to live in Peru. Much can be accomplished when young and old stand together for life.

We at the US office of the Population Research Institute are proud of our Peruvian co-workers, who have carried off such a magnificent accomplishment.

We are also proud of all of our brothers and sisters, in Peru and throughout Latin America, for courageously coming out for the truth of the sanctity of human life.

We hope that people around the world will be encouraged by the Peruvian people’s conviction and will in turn break the chains of death and destruction in their own countries. At the March for Life, Peruvians stood up for those who are oppressed and belittled—for the babies who need to be saved, for the mothers who need support and comfort, and for the fathers who need encouragement to support their families with love and self sacrifice.

Will you, too—in your own country—stand for Life?

The pro-life Population Research Institute is dedicated to ending human rights abuses committed in the name of "family planning," and to ending counter-productive social and economic paradigms premised on the myth of "overpopulation." Find us at pop.org.

A Seamless Garment That Fits

by David Paul Deavel
Crisis Magazine

It has been the taunt of those advocating the moral legitimacy and legalization of abortion since the modern pro-life movement began: “You’re not pro-life; you’re just against abortion. You couldn’t care less about the lives of mothers or children after the nine months of pregnancy are over.”

The accusation as made is truly false. In the first place, anybody who ever visits or volunteers with a lifecare center will know that telephone counseling is not simply a matter of making arguments to women not to abort, but involves the support of women in crisis who are often pushed toward the option of abortion by boyfriends, husbands, or family members. Words of affirmation and reason are certainly involved, as well as the great gift of seeing by ultrasound that what is inside them is not a what but a who. So too are recommendations and referrals to sources of medical, financial, and emotional help if the mother is keeping her baby, to options for adoption for those who do not believe themselves capable of taking care of the child whom they are carrying. Many lifecare centers have on hand donated clothing, diapers, baby formula, beds, strollers, and other things needed for mothers to care for their children. A number collaborate with groups providing free housing for homeless pregnant women. Along with material tools of motherhood are classes on childcare. The pro-life center’s purpose is to assist women in saying yes to the human life within them—letting it live and caring for it.

Those who have taken up full-time work advancing the legal recognition and protection of innocent human life are neither opposed nor uninterested in the welfare of mothers and children after the birth has occurred. Many of their efforts have centered around the fact that the American abortion industry has largely involved unregulated medical practice leading not only to the deaths of babies but also to the maiming of many women seeking abortion, as the writer Will Saletan, an uneasy pro-choice journalist, has detailed in a series of articles for the center-left magazine Slate. Many other efforts have resulted in laws allowing desperate women who have given birth alone to drop off their babies at hospitals when the women are worried that they cannot care for the child. To be pro-life is to care about the medical, emotional, and spiritual health of women as well as the life and health of babies.

A Life Redeemed: Even After Four Abortions, Woman Finds Healing and Hope

by Susan Michelle
Live Action

Starr Rogers’ story is a reminder that redemption and healing are possible, even when devastation comes from a person’s own choices. After a series of affairs and abortions, Rogers planned her suicide, but at the last minute, found a path to healing that she says is possible for anyone.

Rogers’ story began when she was married at 16, but she soon found herself pregnant with the child of a married man with whom she was having an affair. She passed off that child, a daughter, as her husband’s. But the affair continued, and over the course of the decade, it lasted. She became pregnant four more times—and each time, she aborted her baby. Her first marriage ended, and she married the man with whom she had the affair.

And she got pregnant again. As with her previous four pregnancies, she says:

“[H]e pitched a fit and demanded of me that I get rid of this pregnancy, too. So, I traveled to Atlanta. I was in my third trimester and Alabama wouldn’t allow an abortion that far along.”

5th Annual March for Life in Reading, PA on April 26, 2015

from Helen MacMinn
March for Life Committee

This March for Life has continued to gain increased participation over the last four years and its success is due to faithful Catholics who recognize that abortion is not only about the number of innocent human lives destroyed but also the direct consequences upon our culture, our families, and our Christianity.

As Catholics committed to the Sanctity of Life the goal of the March for Life is to bring awareness to the LIFE issues in our community. We want to awaken and challenge the public to the fact that abortion destroys both the baby and the future within our families and marriages. We demonstrate by our public witness that we are a people willing to LOVE, SUPPORT, and CARE for those who have been affected by abortion. As Catholics we need to help, not judge, those in the most trying of circumstances.

To quote St. John Paul II..."It is impossible to further the common good without acknowledging and defending the Right to Life, upon which all the other inalienable rights of individuals are founded and from which they develop."

We face a common enemy today...it is the Culture of Death. The Sanctity of Human Life has been replaced with a disposable mindset. We are called at this crucial hour to be the voice of the voiceless, our brothers and sisters in the womb have no other voices but ours to defend them.

This will be a peaceful, prayerful, witness to our community that ALL LIFE IS SACRED. We pray that this March will spark a fire in the hearts of all those who observe our public demonstration and that this spark will result in a fire of LOVE for our unborn brothers and sisters in the womb.

Over the last four years combined, thousands of local faithful in the Reading vicinity have joined in this March to promote LIFE. However, this year we are making a concerted effort to encourage the faithful from across Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Allentown to participate.

Abortion will end in our lifetime only when it is recognized for what it is; it is the ultimate destruction and death of a precious soul - a baby, it is the denial of our humanity and our direct connection to eternity through God, it is the destruction of the family and the trust and faith between man and woman, it is a fracture of society and governance, it truly is the beginning of the end unless WE PRAY TOGETHER for a true spiritual awakening in our families, cities and nation. We must strive to encourage each other to provide love, support and care - to become those faithful actions for the cause of Christ's precious unborn, and ultimately for the sake of all the world.

Uncomfortable Greeting for Hillary Clinton‏

CBR Maryland and other anti-abortion groups target Hillary Clinton's speech at Emily List's 30th anniversary gala

from CBR Maryland

Hillary Clinton has plenty of problems these days, but she probably imagined she was safe giving a speech to pro-abortion fund-raiser Emily's List last Tuesday, the 3rd of March, at the Washington Hilton.

Surprise!

Outside the doors of the Hilton, CBR Maryland joined Created Equal and many other pro-life groups in a party-crashing protest that let everyone know exactly what was being celebrated inside and how committed Hillary Clinton (a presumptive 2016 presidential candidate) really is to murdering the preborn children of her constituents.

We appreciate everyone who came out and stood vigil with us. If you didn't come, please think about joining us next time and bringing friends with you. There is a lot of work ahead of us and we need you!
