Police Arrest Jordan Hunt, Abortion Activist Who Assaulted Pro-Life Woman

Toronto police have arrested Jordan Hunt, a man who was caught on video allegedly kicking a young, female pro-life advocate Sunday in Toronto.

A video of the incident that went viral earlier this week shows a male abortion activist roundhouse kicking a pro-life woman as she records her conversation with him. The woman later identified herself as Campaign Life Coalition Youth Coordinator Marie-Claire Bissonnette.

Now, the pro-life group the victim Bissonnette was affiliated with has informed LifeNews that Hunt has been arrested. He has been charged with 8 counts of assault and 7 counts of criminal mischief, including an additional charge for a previous assault. That assault could be the other assault Hunt committed against another pro-life advocate.



On Wednesday, Nobel Studio 101, a hair studio in Toronto, posted a message on Instagramidentifying the man as Jordan Hunt, one of its former employees. The business said it fired Hunt after seeing him on the now-viral video.

The Daily Hive reports the incident occurred Sunday when pro-life advocates gathered at the corner of Bloor and Keele streets in Toronto for the annual Life Chain, a peaceful, prayer-filled event to publicly witness about the tragedy of abortion. A few abortion activists showed up to counter-protest.

Bissonnette was participating in the Life Chain when she filmed the man – allegedly Hunt – assaulting her.

“After these acts of vandalism, he approached the pro-abortion demonstrator, evidently in order to seek her approval, which she appeared to deny him by discouraging his tactics,” she said. “At this point I took out my cell phone and began to record him, telling him that what he did was destruction of private property and it was against the law.”

Democrat PA Congressional Candidate, Scott Wallace: Tax Parents With More Than 2 Kids Because They’re “Irresponsible Breeders”

The types of policies that Wallace puts his money behind are the real danger to women and families.

An abortion activist with radical ideas about population control is running for U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania.

Scott Wallace, a millionaire Democrat, is challenging U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick for the 1st Congressional District of Pennsylvania. He received the endorsements of Planned Parenthood and the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.)

But Wallace’s abortion activism goes beyond support of Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups. PJ Media reports his Wallace Global Fund has donated almost $7 million to population control groups in the past 20 years, including groups that advocate for taxing families with more than two children.

Here’s more from the report:

Between 1997 and 2003, Wallace gave $420,000 to Zero Population Growth (ZPG) — now Population Connection — an organization co-founded by “Population Bomb” author Paul Ehrlich, Fox News reported.

From before its inception, ZPG had announced its intentions to tax large families for the “privilege of irresponsible breeding.” A 1968 brochure advocated abortion to stabilize population growth and claimed that “no responsible family should have more than two children.” Therefore, “irresponsible people who have more than two children should be taxed to the hilt for the privilege of irresponsible breeding.”

In 2010, his group also gave $20,000 to the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy, which supports zero population growth, the report states. Its Executive Board Member Herman Daly also advocated for a coercive two child policy that would require families to buy licenses if they have more than two children, according to the report.

Wallace’s campaign communications director Zoe Wilson-Meyer did not specifically address these concerns. Instead, she emphasized his supposedly “pro-woman” policies, including support for the largest abortion business in America, Planned Parenthood.

“The Wallace Global Fund has for decades been a leader in helping women gain access to family planning,” Wilson-Meyer said. “Former Co-Chair Scott Wallace is proud of the work of grantees like Planned Parenthood in empowering women and protecting reproductive rights and will stand up for Pennsylvania women.”

On his website, Wallace bragged that his mother used to work at Planned Parenthood of Bucks County.

“While we have made great strides since my mother’s time at Planned Parenthood of Bucks County, women’s rights are under attack everyday (sic). With the entire Congress and the White House under far-right, anti-choice control, it is more important than ever to protect Planned Parenthood’s work and the great value they deliver to the women of America,” he said in a statement online.

Abortion Activist Admits in Court She Gave False Testimony Against Pro-Life People She’s Trying to Silence

A star witness in New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s lawsuit against a group of pro-life sidewalk counselors admitted in federal court that her testimony was not true. In reality, Mary Lou Greenberg, who heads up the abortion escort program at Choices Women’s Medical Center in Jamaica, New York, testified on Wednesday, February 21, that her accusations against the life advocates on trial were “borrowed” from another escort, whose words were used to describe actions by different people at an entirely different clinic.

“Greenburg also admitted that when a woman is leaving the clinic in the company of sidewalk counselors, she will insert herself, uninvited, into the conversation, and will follow the entourage continuing her comments,” explained Martin Cannon, Thomas More Society Special Counsel. 

“This is the same behavior the Attorney General is accusing the pro-life witnesses of engaging in, but calling it illegal harassment when done by them to save babies lives. Greenburg claims she is justified because she is providing ‘important information’ she feels the woman ought to have. By contrast, our clients are offering receptive women information that can save the lives of their babies.”

The pro-life sidewalk counselors, ten of whom are members of Church@TheRock (http://www.rockny.org/) in Brooklyn, have been slapped with federal harassment charges by Schneiderman, for offering abortion-bound women information on life-affirming alternatives. The sidewalk counselors are represented by the Thomas More Society, whose legal defense of them is rooted in their Constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Greenberg wrote in a sworn declaration: 

“They say that Choices does not care about them. The protesters say that ambulances come and take women away once or twice a day, that women have to have hysterectomies after an abortion, and that Choices throws away ‘the baby’ in the garbage. All of these are just lies.”

On cross examination by Cannon, Greenberg admitted that she used those exact words in 2010 magazine article, quoting another escort at another clinic. That was two years prior to the weekly pro-life outreach conducted by Church@TheRock members outside of Choices, which commenced in 2012.

Abortion Activist After Watching a Baby Die in an Abortion: It’s Just a “Minimally Invasive Surgery”

Elsewhere today, we talk about a fine essay that appeared at the Federalist in which the author explains, “Why You’ve Never Really Seen Hollywood Portray An Abortion Scene.” I encourage you to read our post.

As I read Cullen Herout’s essay, I immediately thought of a story I wrote about a woman then writing for Newsweek. Sarah Kliff had just complied a celebratory profile of LeRoy Carhart, who then as now unapologetically specializes in late, late abortions.

By way of gathering background for her gushy profile, Kliff actually watched an abortion being performed. The title is “Watching My First Abortion.”

Kliff convinced herself that she had threaded the needle. She was not being ‘judgmental’ yet still has “difficulty understanding my own reaction–both relieved to have watched a minimally invasive surgery and distressed by the emotionality of the process.”  Of course, she had done nothing of the sort.

She saw “only” first trimester abortions through a window from another room. What she saw was a “suction machine [which] made a slight rumbling sound, a pinkish fluid flowed through the tube, and, faster than I’d expected, it was over.”
Poof “it” (the baby) is gone.

Had she gotten close to these women–or watched Carhart abort a massive late second or third trimester baby–I’m guessing her nonchalant conclusion would have been a great deal less sanguine. Something about little arms and recognizable legs will do that to you.

Kliff then explained how:

When I returned from Omaha, friends and colleagues wanted to know if I had “done it.” When I said I had, their reactions surprised me. Friends who supported legal abortion bristled slightly when I told them where I’d been and what I’d watched. Acquaintances at a party looked a bit regretful to have asked about my most recent assignment. 

The majority of Americans support Roe v. Wade’s protection of abortion, about 68 percent as of May. But my experience (among an admittedly small, largely pro-choice sample set) found a general discomfort when confronted with abortion as a physical reality, not a political idea. Americans may support abortion rights, but even 40 years + after Roe, we don’t talk about it like other medical procedures.”

Well, abortion is not “like other medical procedures,” no matter how loud or how often proponents insist it is. And as for the reaction of her “largely pro-choice sample set,” it’s not terrible surprising.

Abortion Activist Caught on Camera Destroying Pro-Life Display Not Once But Twice

Another student abortion activist tried to destroy a college pro-life display Wednesday in Washington state.

Washington State University Students for Life set up the display this week to raise awareness about the number of babies killed in abortions every day, the Daily Evergreen student newspaper reports. The “Cemetery of the Innocents” display included 300 pink crosses, each representing the lives of 10 babies who are aborted every day in the United States.

On Wednesday, a pro-abortion student tore the crosses out of the ground twice and later admitted to his actions, according to the report.

Student Keaton Aspell told the newspaper that he felt disgusted when he walked out of class on Wednesday and saw the pro-life display. He said he pulled out the crosses and threw away the display signs, and then posted about it on social media.

Pro-life students set up the display again, but Aspell later came back, according to the report. When Aspell began tearing down the display again, the pro-life students called the campus police, the report states.

Nicole Manzione, a pro-life club member, told the newspaper that she tried talking with Aspell, but he would not stop.

“We tried to have a good conversation with him, calm and civil, and he just kept taking them down no matter what we said,” Manzione said.

Aspell said the display was disgusting and divisive, and a lot of people supported his actions on social media.

Abortion Advocate Protesting March for Life Put Down Her Sign and Got a Pro-Life Sign. Here’s Why

Abortion activists show up every year at the March for Life in Washington, D.C. to counter the hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers who march for unborn babies’ right to life.

This year, the pro-life message appears to have touched at least one of those protesters.

A Michigan woman called in to Teresa Tomeo’s Catholic Connection radio show recently to share the change that her family witnessed in a young pro-abortion protester during the march last week.

The caller, Maryanne, told Tomeo and her guest Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life, that her husband and daughter saw a young woman and two young men carrying pro-abortion signs ahead of the march.

As the three pro-abortion protesters walked up the streets in downtown D.C., she said they noticed the Created Equal display. The pro-life group’s display showed photos and video images of aborted babies to expose the brutality and violence of abortion.

“The woman stopped dead in her tracks, she started to cry. She put down her sign, and she picked up a pro-life sign,” Maryanne told Tomeo and Mancini.

Maryanne said her family watched as the two men left the woman alone and crying. She said pro-lifers approached the young woman and showed her love and support.

“So, don’t ever think that this march doesn’t change hearts,” she said.

Pro-lifers’ compassion and desire to help protect moms and babies from abortion are changing hearts and lives. And this compassion is evident at peaceful and often prayerful demonstrations like the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Abortion Activist George Soros Funding Pro-Abortion March to Legalize Abortion in Ireland

Abortion activists are planning a march in Ireland this weekend to demand that the nation legalize abortion on demand and stop protecting unborn babies.

However, most of the support for the pro-abortion campaign appears to be coming from outside the country and not its own citizens.

Strong evidence suggests that American billionaire George Soros is using his fortune to push Ireland to legalize abortion. In a column for Eurasia Review this week, William Donohue pointed out that Soros gave money to three of the pro-abortion groups that are promoting the “March for Choice” in Dublin and about 20 other cities this weekend.

Donohue said Soros’s Open Society Foundations funds Amnesty International Ireland, the Abortion Rights Campaign and the Irish Family Planning Association, all of which are involved the effort to repeal Ireland’s Eighth Amendment, which protects the right to life for unborn babies.

Abortion activists expect as many as 20,000 people at the pro-abortion marches this weekend, the Irish Times reports. Dublin is the location for the main march, but organizers told the newspaper that 20 events will be occurring globally in solidarity with abortion activists in Ireland.

Forbes ranks Soros as the 23rd richest person in the world. He is a regular major donor to pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia groups. Soros is just one source of anti-life groups’ funding. Warren Buffett, the third richest in the world, also is a major donor to pro-abortion causes, as is Bill Gates, who ranks first, and Mark Zuckerberg, who ranks sixth.
