Stunning Photo of Baby Who Survived Abortion Captivates Internet

By Katie Franklin
Christian Post

Just before “Brianna’s” scheduled C-section, physician Brent Boles asked her if she’d allow a photo to be taken once the baby was born. He wouldn’t share any identifying information with the world, he said. Just the photo.

A photo to celebrate human life.

A photo to explain just why he provides the ever-growing Abortion Pill Reversal regimen to women looking to undo their chemical abortions.

Brianna happily agreed, and a little bit later, a gripping photo of a newborn baby, crying under the blaze of operating room lights, was captured.

Since posting the image to his personal Facebook page last week, Boles says it has garnered over 8,000 reactions and over 5,000 shares.

Along with the photo he posted, Boles wrote:

“Recently I did this delivery, and am sharing the picture with the patient’s permission. You see, when a woman takes the abortion pill, she often immediately regrets it. This patient did exactly that. The abortion providers will lie and tell people that there is no way to reverse it. That is not true. This patient found www.abortionpillreversal.com and I am on the panel of prolife providers who are willing to try to reverse the poison they were given. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but as you can see—it is worth the effort.”

Otherwise known as the “abortion pill” or RU-486, chemical abortions involve a two-pill regimen.

Mifepristone, the first pill—which Brianna took at a local Planned Parenthood—destabilizes a pregnancy by blocking progesterone receptors and reducing progesterone levels in the mother's blood. The second pill, typically misoprostol, induces labor, forcing her body to expel the baby.

The Abortion Pill Reversal protocol, which saved Brianna’s child, works by reintroducing progesterone to the mother’s body up to 72 hours after the first pill is taken. The progesterone counteracts the mifepristone, restoring a woman’s natural ability to carry her baby.

Brianna, who immediately regretted taking the abortion pill, found Abortion Pill Reversal online, contacted the network’s 24-7 helpline (1-877-558-0333), and spoke with Boles the same day.

She was even able to get a prescription for progesterone and begin the treatment immediately.

Heartbeat International, which manages the protocol’s 24-7 helpline and network of more than 500 medical providers like Boles, recently shared that Abortion Pill Reversal has led to the births of more than 500 babies, with another 100 on the way.

Physician George Delgado, founder of Abortion Pill Rescue (formerly known as the Abortion Pill Reversal Network), released a study earlier this year, showing that up to 68 percent of women who used the Abortion Pill Reversal treatment were able to give birth to a perfectly healthy baby.

Boles, who monitored Brianna and her baby throughout the rest of her pregnancy, says she never experienced any complications, and that both she and the baby are doing very well.

Pro-Life Work Both Requires and Enhances Unity in the Body of Christ

By Susanne Maynes
Life News

Despite the early hour of the day, the worship team was energetic and the atmosphere full of joy. I raised my voice and hands to join a thousand other worshippers in praising God.

We were in Anaheim for the Heartbeat International conference in April, gathered for the cause of life. The crowd included men and woman, Catholics and Protestants, young and old, and people of different races –a beautiful collection of God’s image-bearers, joined together to speak up for those who have no voice.

During that sweet time of worship, I thought of a similar conference I’d attended in the past, where the speaker asked this rhetorical question: “If Planned Parenthood holds conferences, what songs do you suppose they sing?”

Which begs other questions about those who oppose life-affirming work: What do they worship? What is their common source of strength and unity? How deep is their love for each other?

I’m not sure how abortion proponents would answer such questions, but I know what’s true for followers of Jesus.

Here’s how I put it in Unleashing Your Courageous Compassion:
“There’s only one reason people from diverse backgrounds love each other, work together, and rejoice with one another the way Christians do—we all belong to Jesus and he belongs to us. The common ground for all followers of Christ is the foot of his cross.”
One thing I’ve enjoyed most about life-affirming work is the diversity represented in this ministry. Many different “flavors” of Christians care deeply about protecting the preborn, which means we have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate something wonderful to the world—something called unity.

Jesus said people would recognize His disciples by the love they showed to one another (John 13:35). Regardless of various doctrinal differences, personality types, and a wide range of ages, social classes, and ethnic backgrounds, God’s people are called to love and serve one another.

Here’s the lovely, two-edged truth: Pro-life work both requires and enhances unity in the Body of Christ.

If we are to get the work done, we must labor shoulder to shoulder with other Christians, including those who may not be part of our tribe. We may not share all the same doctrinal positions. We may prefer radically different types of worship services.

We may even get irritated with each other at times.

Unity between Christ-followers does not mean we have to enjoy sunshine and lollipops all the time. There will be challenges. There always have been.

The point is, in Christ, we have the power to overcome our differences in order to work together for the sake of the gospel—and in our case, specifically for the cause of life.

400 Babies Have Been Saved From Abortion After It’s Already Started, Now Nurses Are Learning to Save More

“Whatever a person’s stance on abortion, knowledge of this critical protocol is too important to withhold from nurses.”

Facing intense political pressure from abortion activists, a major licensing agency stood its ground this week and delivered a major victory for women facing unexpected pregnancies throughout the nation.

In a written letter sent Dec. 19, the California Board of Registered Nursing notified Heartbeat International that it can now grant continuing education units (CEUs) to nurses who study a life-saving process known as Abortion Pill Reversal.

That’s good news for future mothers who change their mind after taking the first pill in a two-step chemical abortion regimen known as mifepristone (RU-486) or “the abortion pill.” In the past five years, more than 400 mothers have successfully rescued their babies through an emergency progesterone treatment that has been used for more than 50 years to prevent miscarriages.

Backed by a network of more than 350 medical providers, the Abortion Pill Reversal hotline (1-877-558-0333)—staffed with licensed medical professionals—answers over 50 calls per month from women who want to keep their baby after having started the chemical abortion pill process.

In its letter to Heartbeat, the California Board of Registered Nursing acknowledged that Abortion Pill Reversal is relevant to the practice of nursing and, therefore, eligible for CEU credit.Life News article continues

One mother who rescued her baby via Abortion Pill Reversal in 2013, Rebekah Buell, said she had to travel nearly two hours from her Sacramento-area home to visit a doctor who could help her.
“Because of that physician and the progesterone he prescribed, my son, Zechariah, survived the abortion pill, and he is now a healthy and thriving 4-year-old who I cannot imagine life without,” Buell said.
“When nurses are unable to be trained in the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol, patients in need—like my and my baby—suffer. That’s what makes this decision so important.”
It’s actually the third time the Board has approved the same coursework for CEUs through Heartbeat, which first received approval as a CEU provider in 2012 and began offering credit for education on Abortion Pill Reversal online and at its annual conference shortly thereafter.

Following a 17-month audit, the Board confirmed Heartbeat’s ability to offer CEU credit for the coursework in a letter sent July 28, 2017, but then reversed its own decision with a letter sent Sept. 5, revoking CEU credit.

A Record 28,000 Women Reached Out to Option Line for help This March. Here’s One of Their Stories

By Jay Hobbs
National Right to Life

For the second time in the past three months, Option Line—a 24-7 pregnancy helpline operated by Heartbeat International—is celebrating a high-water mark, having reached 28,414 women with life-affirming help in the month of March.

Far outpacing the previous single-month record of 24,000, set in 2008, over half the women and men who reached out to Option Line during March did so over the phone, connecting with a professionally trained consultant in real time.

In January, Option Line’s 23,660 contacts marked the highest single-month total since 2008 and what was then the second-busiest month in the helpline’s 14-year history.

While virtually everyone who contacts Option Line is encouraged to contact a specific pregnancy help center, medical clinic or nonprofit adoption agency near them, Option Line consultants were able to directly schedule appointments at local centers for over 300 women throughout the month.

“We celebrate each of those women and men who contact us for help” Nafisa Shamsher, Option Line’s director, said. “We have every confidence that they’ll be in the best position to make a true choice with the support Option Line and pregnancy help organizations in their own communities.”
One woman, “Sarah,” was in hysterics when she called Option Line’s toll free number (1-800-712-HELP) for help during her unexpected pregnancy in March. Sarah already has a son, and she’s recovering from drug addiction.

Though she’s remained sober since she was pregnant with her first son, the new pregnancy threw Sarah into a panic. By the time she called Option Line, she felt that abortion was her only option—particularly since she’s unemployed and having trouble making ends meet as it is.

On the phone, the Option Line consultant listened as Sarah said, between sobs, that she didn’t have the strength to go through another pregnancy. The Option Line consultant then reminded Sarah of all that she’d been through, pointing out that she’d already shown so much courage, and assuring her she was strong enough to overcome this new challenge and welcome a new child into the world.

Finally, the Option Line consultant referred Sarah to a local pregnancy center, where she was able to find the information, help and support she needed.
