Amazing: Over 500 Babies Saved Thanks to Abortion Pill Reversal

“God saved my life by saving my son’s life...”

By Katie Franklin
Live Action News

(Pregnancy Help News) For more than a decade, women have used Abortion Pill Reversal as a means to stop their in-progress chemical abortions and save their unborn babies’ lives.

Now, Heartbeat International, which took the reins of the protocol’s 24-7 helpline and provider network this spring, says the protocol has led to the births of more than 500 babies, with another 100 on the way.

“This new milestone represents not only 500 lives saved, but 500 women who were given a second chance to choose life and save themselves and their babies from a terrible fate,” said Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International, a global network of more than 2,600 pregnancy help locations.
“Thanks to the prayers and commitment of all the medical providers, pregnancy help centers, and generous donors who make the Abortion Pill Rescue Network possible, 500 precious children are alive today.”
Abortion Pill Rescue—the network of more than 400 medical practitioners who administer the protocol—answers well over 100 calls per month from its 24-7 helpline (1-877-558-0333) run by Heartbeat International’s Option Line. That figure is up from 50 calls per month since the hotline changed hands this spring.

Abortion Pill Reversal’s Proven Success

With chemical abortions accounting for as many as 40 percent of abortions throughout the U.S., the need for Abortion Pill Reversal is great.

Otherwise known as the “abortion pill” or RU-486, chemical abortions actually involve a two-pill regimen.

The first pill, mifepristone, works by telling a woman’s body to stop producing progesterone—a natural hormone that is necessary to sustain a healthy pregnancy—thereby starving the baby of nutrients. The second pill, typically misoprostol, induces labor, forcing her body to expel the baby.

Pioneered by doctors George Delgado and Matt Harrison in 2007, the Abortion Pill Reversal treatment works by giving women extra progesterone up to 72 hours after a woman takes the first pill, mifepristone.

Research released by Delgado this year revealed the protocol’s success. According to his study, up to 68 percent of women who changed their mind about an abortion and started the Abortion Pill Reversal treatment were able to give birth to a perfectly healthy baby.

The findings, though reaffirming of Abortion Pill Reversal’s validity, were not altogether surprising since progesterone has been used as an FDA-approved protocol to prevent miscarriages since the 1950s.

Now, successful Abortion Pill Reversal has been reported in 46 states and 17 countries, including the U.S. There are 430 medical practices, in addition to 84 pregnancy help centers that prescribe Abortion Pill Reversal.

Although abortion advocates have dismissed the life-saving treatment as “junk science,” dozens of women are now publicly sharing their success stories, putting faces and names to the human beings who are alive today because of Abortion Pill Reversal. Emily is one of them.

Emily’s Story

At 19, when Emily discovered she was pregnant, she was happy, surprised, and scared all at the same time. A freshman in college and living at home, she feared her parents’ reaction.

Woman Pregnant With Twins Takes Abortion Pill, Pro-Life Doctor Saves Them Before They Die

“Saving lives is the primary goal of all called into the medical field.”

By Katie Franklin
Life News

In the 11 years since Abortion Pill Reversal was launched by pro-life physicians George Delgado and Matt Harrison, abortion advocates have tried their best to discredit the life-saving protocol.

But just last week, the regimen received another validation of its safety and legitimacy following the presentation of Dr. William Lile—a board-certified ob-gyn who serves as the referral physician for three local pregnancy help centers—before a Florida hospital’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).

The remarkable event that brought Lile before the board was his role in helping a woman reverse her abortion, saving not one baby, but two; his patient was pregnant with twins.

Eight weeks pregnant, the woman sought a chemical abortion at an abortion facility, had profound regrets, and sought out help.

A chemical abortion, often referred to as the “abortion pill,” actually involves the use of two pills. The first pill, mifepristone (or RU-486), blocks progesterone, essentially starving the preborn baby of nutrients. The second pill, misoprostol, forces the baby to be expelled from the mother’s womb.

According to Lile, this fatal combination has a 97 percent success rate of killing a preborn baby.

The Abortion Pill Reversal treatment—backed by a network of 350 medical providers and a 24/7 hotline (1-877-558-0333), now operated by Heartbeat International through OptionLine—works by giving women extra progesterone, a natural hormone that is necessary to sustain a healthy pregnancy.

After counseling his patient, Lile prescribed progesterone in the form of a medication called Prometrium.

To the astonishment and gratitude of Lile, it worked.
“We were facing a 97% success rate of pregnancy termination of her twins, but were blessed to have viable twins with normal heart rates one month later,” Lile wrote in an email to pro-life friends. “There are no known negative effects to the developing baby when Prometrium is used.”
Today, the patient’s preborn twins are 12 weeks and thriving.

According to Lile, Prometrium is routinely used to prevent pregnancy loss when miscarriage is threatened or even to prevent preterm labor. Indeed, progesterone has the longstanding approval of the FDA as a safe medical intervention to fight miscarriages.

But following Lile’s successful use of the protocol, an anonymous complaint came before the board, launching an internal review of the event.
“I went to the meeting with science, supporting articles, and your prayers, and defended my use of Prometrium,” wrote Lile.
In the end, science—and life—won out.

In this instance, the Institutional Review Board deemed the use of Prometrium after attempted chemical abortion with RU-486 to be reasonable.

Finley’s Parents are Grateful Abortion Pill Reversal Saved their Little Girl

“Since having Finley, my dad and I are closer than we have ever been,” said Summer. “He and Jason are finally forming a relationship. Everyone is so happy and crazy in love with our daughter. She has changed all of our lives for the better, and we are forever grateful.”

By Nancy Flanders
Live Action News

Summer was a recent high school graduate with a passion for rodeo road competition when she met her now-husband Jason. Her parents had hopes of her going to college, and Jason planned to head to college to earn a degree. But when the two met and began dating, Summer’s father didn’t approve because of the age difference between them. When Summer became pregnant, she knew that having a baby would put even more of a strain on her relationship with her parents. She had no idea that abortion pill reversal would soon become a life-changing part of her story.

“Balancing school, my job, my horses and my boyfriend, I had full hands,” she said in her YouTube video, “Life After Abortion.. The Story of Our Miracle Baby.” She continued, “On top of that, I had to go out of town for a week to work a horse show. I grew nauseous the entire time and had missed my period. I was positive I was pregnant.”
When she returned home from the horse show, she immediately took two pregnancy tests. They were both positive, and Summer began to panic.
“How will I be able to rodeo now?! What will people think of me? My parents are going to kill me! I’m not ready to be a mom yet,” she said.

But despite her fears, she surprised Jason with a gift-wrapped pregnancy test. His first reaction was one of joy; however, that dissipated when he thought of Summer’s father and how he was going to react.

Wanting to confirm the pregnancy, they headed to a Planned Parenthood clinic. At the time, the young couple did not know Planned Parenthood’s history of failing to inform women of legitimate options, including the practical help that is available from other organizations and facilities when a mother chooses life.

“When we opened the doors, there was a long line of women of all ages,” said Summer. “There was an aroma of heartache, yet they portrayed it to be so normal. We sat down with my number.”
When her number was called, the staff of the clinic wouldn’t allow Jason to go back with her. Alone, Summer found out that she was indeed pregnant and that she was seven weeks along. She had to call Jason to tell him the news, and that’s when they decided they weren’t ready to be parents and that they had to have an abortion.
“I knew in my heart it was wrong,” said Summer. “I didn’t want to do it, but I thought I had no other choice. The doctor came in and immediately went into explaining the sets of pills I would have to take to successfully ‘abort’ my fetus to prevent a future surgical one.
I grew more and more hesitant, wondering if I was doing the right thing. I finally convinced myself there was really no other option, so I silently nodded my head as I listened to his directions.”
She took the first pill, which would begin to break down the placenta, cutting the baby off from nutrients. She would take two more pills the next day and was told she should expect heavy bleeding and the possibility of seeing her baby.

Finley, born after abortion reversal
Summer’s baby, Finley, stretches out
After taking the first pill, she was immediately sad. She and Jason cried as they drove home and had to pull the car over.
“We tried our best to brush off what we had just committed, but the anguish and regret grew so overwhelming we had to pull over on the side of the road,” she explained. “We knew we had made the biggest mistake of our lives.”

YouTube Suspends Abortion Pill Reversal Videos, Silencing Women Who Chose Life

By Danielle White, JD
Live Action News

(Pregnancy Help News) Last week, YouTube suspended the Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) account for “repeated or severe violations of [the] Community Guidelines.” Four videos were posted to the account. The “offending” videos included one webinar explaining APR in scientific and medical terms. The remaining three told the stories of women who chose life for their babies using the APR protocol.

Citing its policies on “harmful or dangerous content,” YouTube opted to suspend the APR account entirely, explaining that it “doesn’t allow content that encourages or promotes violent or dangerous acts that have an inherent risk of serious physical harm or death.” Examples of videos that violate this policy are videos about “instructional bomb making, choking games, hard drug use, or

other acts where serious injury may result.”

Above is one of the videos that YouTube deemed “harmful or dangerous.”

The move comes mere weeks after a new study found that the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol is both safe and effective for women who change their mind after beginning a chemical abortion. The study, which followed 754 women who wanted to stop their in-progress chemical abortion, reported a 68 percent success rate in reversing the effects of mifepristone, the first pill in the two-part chemical abortion process.

The APR protocol involves administering progesterone to counteract the first abortion pill. Progesterone is FDA-approved and has been used to prevent miscarriage since the 1950s. Since 2007, over 500 women have used the APR protocol to save their babies from abortion. Today, the protocol is backed by a network of 350 medical providers.

Heartbeat International, which took the reins of the APR Network and Hotline (1-877-558-0333) just weeks ago, has begun the formal appeal process with YouTube.

Heartbeat International is no stranger to efforts to silence the life-saving APR message. Despite its safety and efficacy, the protocol has come under fire from abortion advocates, who oppose a woman’s right to choose not to finish an unwanted abortion. Since early 2016, Heartbeat International has successfully defeated multiple efforts by California bureaucrats to prevent nurses from learning about the life-saving protocol.

“It’s hard to understand why YouTube would treat the rescuing of babies from an abortion pill the same as terrorism videos,” said Jor-El Godsey, President of Heartbeat International. “On closer investigation, we believe YouTube will find that these videos in no way resemble such dangerous or harmful content.”

400 Babies Have Been Saved From Abortion After It’s Already Started, Now Nurses Are Learning to Save More

“Whatever a person’s stance on abortion, knowledge of this critical protocol is too important to withhold from nurses.”

By Jay Hobbs
Life News

Facing intense political pressure from abortion activists, a major licensing agency stood its ground this week and delivered a major victory for women facing unexpected pregnancies throughout the nation.

In a written letter sent Dec. 19, the California Board of Registered Nursing notified Heartbeat International that it can now grant continuing education units (CEUs) to nurses who study a life-saving process known as Abortion Pill Reversal.

That’s good news for future mothers who change their mind after taking the first pill in a two-step chemical abortion regimen known as mifepristone (RU-486) or “the abortion pill.” In the past five years, more than 400 mothers have successfully rescued their babies through an emergency progesterone treatment that has been used for more than 50 years to prevent miscarriages.

Backed by a network of more than 350 medical providers, the Abortion Pill Reversal hotline (1-877-558-0333)—staffed with licensed medical professionals—answers over 50 calls per month from women who want to keep their baby after having started the chemical abortion pill process.

In its letter to Heartbeat, the California Board of Registered Nursing acknowledged that Abortion Pill Reversal is relevant to the practice of nursing and, therefore, eligible for CEU credit.Life News article continues

One mother who rescued her baby via Abortion Pill Reversal in 2013, Rebekah Buell, said she had to travel nearly two hours from her Sacramento-area home to visit a doctor who could help her.
“Because of that physician and the progesterone he prescribed, my son, Zechariah, survived the abortion pill, and he is now a healthy and thriving 4-year-old who I cannot imagine life without,” Buell said.
“When nurses are unable to be trained in the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol, patients in need—like my and my baby—suffer. That’s what makes this decision so important.”
It’s actually the third time the Board has approved the same coursework for CEUs through Heartbeat, which first received approval as a CEU provider in 2012 and began offering credit for education on Abortion Pill Reversal online and at its annual conference shortly thereafter.

Following a 17-month audit, the Board confirmed Heartbeat’s ability to offer CEU credit for the coursework in a letter sent July 28, 2017, but then reversed its own decision with a letter sent Sept. 5, revoking CEU credit.

How Samantha Saved Her Baby with Abortion Pill Reversal

By Jay Hobbs
National Right to Life

Though the abortion lobby loudly derides the Abortion Pill Reversal as “unproven” at best and “junk science” at worst, don’t count on a Massachusetts woman named Samantha to join in with the chorus of science-deniers who oppose the life-saving medical intervention.

To Samantha, the only important thing about the breakthrough treatment—which is really a new use of a decades-old, FDA-approved prescription dating back to the 1950s –is that it saved her daughter’s life earlier this year.

One of 300 mothers and counting to have saved the life of her unborn children in the past five years, Samantha is on the cusp of welcoming her daughter into the world this December.

When she does, she won’t be alone—at least not if the women at Abundant Hope Pregnancy Resource Center can help it.

It was at Abundant Hope, which is just down the street from an abortion business in Attleboro, Mass., that Samantha found out about Abortion Pill Reversal during a visit to the center. Ironically, Abundant Hope has come under fire in recent weeks from the pro-abortion Campaign for Accountability, which lodged a formal complaint with the state, accusing Abundant Hope of tricking women into rejecting abortion.

The complaint was filed less than a week after the staff and volunteers at Abundant Hope held a baby shower in Samantha—and her unborn daughter’s—honor.

“They gave me strength to not go through with that that abortion—that horrifying thing that would have affected the rest of my life,” Samantha said. “It was just an ongoing struggle with what to do in my heart and my head. Abundant Hope has changed my life by being a good support system. When I don’t have anyone else to turn to, I give them a call—even if I just need to talk to them.”

Following her initial visit at Abundant Hope, Samantha tried to abort her baby three separate times. On her third attempt, Samantha took the first of two pills in the chemical abortion regimen. She immediately regretted her decision, however, and reached out to the Abortion Pill Reversal hotline (877-558-0333) for help.

Within hours, Samantha was in the office of Abundant Hope’s medical director, receiving an emergency dose of progesterone. One of 350 physicians who make up the national Abortion Pill Reversal network, the doctor then worked with Samantha to prescribe an ongoing progesterone treatment plan to get her pregnancy back on track.

300 Babies Have Been Saved From Abortion After the Abortion Already Started. Here’s How

By Micaiah Bilger
Life News

While it continues to be a sore spot for its pro-abortion deniers, the science behind Abortion Pill Reversal is compelling enough to gain the blessing of California’s Board of Registered Nursing, the board announced July 28.

Following an audit that lasted well over a year, the board notified pro-life affiliation networks Heartbeat International and National Institutes of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) they were each cleared to train nurses on a process that has saved over 300 lives since 2007.

Under particular scrutiny were classes on Abortion Pill Reversal, a medical intervention that has been pioneered by doctors George Delgado and Matthew Harrison and now includes a network of 350 physicians throughout the U.S.
“We’re grateful to California’s Board of Registered Nursing for their professionalism and diligence throughout this process,” Heartbeat International president Jor-El Godsey said. “Every nurse needs to know the truth about abortion—including the truth that a woman can change her mind in some cases even after the abortion has begun.”
Pro-Abortion Science Deniers

In spite of over 300 mothers who have rescued their children through Abortion Pill Reversal after having started a medication abortion, pro-abortion advocates have repeatedly opposed the practice as it has gained traction throughout the medical community and in the political arena.

Slapping it with the label of “junk science,” Abortion Pill Reversal deniers have resisted efforts in many states—most notably in Arizona—that would require abortion providers to inform a patient she could choose to potentially save her child even after she has taken the first of the two-pill chemical abortion regimen.

Instead, a movement led by Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) that prides itself on being “pro-choice” effectively robs a woman of choice by keeping her from being informed about a viable alternative to abortion, effectively condemning her to live with the consequences of her abortion decision even while another option remains available to her.

In the Middle of the Abortion Killing Her Twins She Changed Her Mind, Miraculously Her Babies Survived

By Micaiah Bilger
Life News

Almost two years ago, Samantha nearly destroyed the lives of her unborn twins in an abortion. A college student at the time, Samantha (not her real name) said she took the abortion drug RU-486 and quickly regretted it. The Pennsylvania woman shared her story recently with ABC 27 News.
Samantha has two healthy 1-year-old twins today, thanks to doctors who treated her with an innovative new abortion pill reversal procedure.
“I’m very happy I made the choice I did to continue the pregnancy,” Samantha said.
Samantha said she took the abortion drugs before knowing she was pregnant with twins. Immediately after she swallowed them, she said she regretted her decision.

Desperate to find out if she could reverse the drugs, she said she searched online for answers. She stumbled upon a hotline, possibly through AbortionPillReversal.com, and called the number.
Here’s more from the report:

Samantha called Hope Within, a community health center in Elizabethtown.
Hope Within offers free primary care services to those in need. Doctor’s used progesterone the hormone that sustains a pregnancy to reverse the drugs that induce an abortion.
“If we can inject large doses of progesterone into a woman that can overcome that blocking effect RU 486 such it prevents the detachment of the embryo from the wall of the uterus,” explained Dr. Eric Hussar with Hope Within Community Health Center.
Dr. Hussar says a woman must act fast, getting progesterone within 24 hours of taking RU 486.

Samantha said the reversal treatment worked, and she later found out she was having twins – a boy and a girl. The twins are 1 year old now and healthy, and their mother is happy that they are alive.

AbortionPillReversal.com has a network of more than 300 doctors across the world who know how to give the abortion reversal treatment to women.
