By Donating to Planned Parenthood, You can Lend a Hand… to an Abuser

As you might know, I got a major surprise some years back while attending a political event. The venue was surrounded by protesters, with one of them declaring that I was a racist who hated minorities. I was surprised to learn that about myself. My biracial girlfriend was even more puzzled when she heard the news.

I recently got another surprise: it appears that I support the abortion industry. Cecile Richards seems to think so, anyway. She’s the president of Planned Parenthood, and I received an email from her asking for my help. While I have a fairly good idea as to how I ended up on Planned Parenthood’s mailing list, the content of their message is a little perplexing.

The email begins with “Dear Adam” (as you can see, we’re pretty close) and then goes on to recount how abortion clinics are closing in Texas. Apparently this is part of a national trend in which “anti-women’s health lawmakers are making it harder and harder for women to get the care they need.”

HOW PLANNED PARENTHOOD GIVES CHILDREN AIDS

If someone with the AIDS virus was about to have sex with you, should they have to tell you about their virus first?  Planned Parenthood doesn’t think so.  If the law says that HIV positive people have to disclose their status to their partners before sex, is that a good law?  Planned Parenthood thinks that such laws should be overturned.  Both of these positions are advanced in a Planned Parenthood “educational brochure” directed at young people who are HIV positive called “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” which is available online. I urge readers to view it.

The “Healthy, Happy and Hot” brochure calls itself, “A guide for young people living with HIV to help them understand their sexual rights, and live healthy, fun, happy and sexually fulfilling lives.” Nothing is said of the health of people who don’t have HIV because that is a group that stands to become sick should the Planned Parenthood advice be taken.  “This guide is for … young people living with HIV who are just starting to think about dating and sex … No matter who you are, this guide is for you!”

The brochure is an impressive piece of propaganda promoting the bizarre worldview of the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, which is perhaps the leading organization of the nine-month pro-choice movement (supporting abortion without qualification).  The brochure has cheerful images of young people jumping through the air with glee before a colorful background which clashes dreadfully with its subject matter – young people with AIDS.  The images look like a Pepsi ad might if the soda company had a bigger advertising budget.  The material was handed out at a Girl Scout meeting at the United Nations at which parents were banned.

Chris Rostenberg was once a pro-choicer – when he thought “pro-choice” meant anyone who supported any abortion. Now he believes a pro-choicer is a person who supports nine month abortion under all circumstances. Nine-month pro-choicers make up the most destructive political movement of all time, far worse than Nazis and Soviets combined. Planned Parenthood: Investigate Their Plan

There’s a big difference between what Planned Parenthood says, and what they do.

So says the headline quote from Alliance Defending Freedom’s revealing project,Investigate Their Plan. Through this project, ADF invites average citizens to find out what Planned Parenthood is focused on. The abortion giant likes to keep its agenda under wraps, but a little digging reveals the chilling truth.

It’s one thing to believe what a supposedly-credible organization tells you. It’s quite another to find out the real truth behind the organization’s words.

Planned Parenthood would like women everywhere to believe it is a credible, feminist, and worthy organization. Yet nothing could be farther from the truth. ADF’s Investigate Their Plan provides vital information to women – and all Americans – who want to know the facts.

Planned Parenthood says abortion services are a fraction of their business, yet more than half of their revenue comes from abortions. To make matters worse, former employees say clinics have abortion quotas and Planned Parenthood continues to oppose legal requirements to inform pregnant women of potential serious physical and psychological problems associated with abortion procedures.

Why America Doesn’t Need Planned Parenthood

According to pro-abortion activists, we need Planned Parenthood.

They’ll rattle off a list of reasons – naming all of the supposed good that the organization does – and bury abortion somewhere near the bottom of that list. But the truth is that Planned Parenthood is an evil organization, chiefly concerned with one thing and one thing only: making money from the killing of unborn children. Nowhere can this truth be more evident than by their consistent attitude of being above the law.

Time and time again, they’ve been caught in blatant criminal activity.

Live Action began undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood in 2007, and what was found was truly disturbing. Eight clinics around the country were willing to cover up sexual abuse, in violation of mandatory statutory rape reporting laws. Another undercover investigation found seven clinics willing to aid and abet child sex trafficking. And while abortion advocates shrug the videos off as fake or doctored, the facts don’t bear that out. Planned Parenthood has repeatedly been caught doing the kind of illicit activities reported in our undercover investigations.

Cecile Richards: When Life Begins Isn’t Relevant to the Conversation

Planned Parenthood tries very hard to keep the truth about fetal development from women. They’ve been caught manipulating the facts and giving women false information about their pregnancy. It makes sense, though. Planned Parenthood is the country’s largest abortion provider. If women were to know the truth about the inherent humanity of the unborn, it would likely put a big dent in their business.

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, recently did an interview with Fusion TV’s America with Jorge Ramos. Interestingly, Ramos asked Richards when she felt that life began. The exchange was awkward, to say the least.
