These Politicians Voted Against Protecting Late-Term Preborn Babies

America is about to vote in one of the most important elections in decades, and a priority for pro-life Americans will be the protection of preborn babies in the womb. 

Various state ballots will include both politicians who have defended life and those who have worked to promote abortion. Voters at this time are reminded about pro-life measures and they often consider how a politician may have voted. 

One pro-life measure, tragically defeated earlier this year, included a bill that would have prohibited horrific abortions after 20 weeks gestation, evidencehas indicated that the preborn child can feel pain. Despite support from the American public for restricting late-term abortion, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act failed in the Senate by a vote of 51 to 46 in January 2018. 60 votes were needed to overcome a filibuster.

Now, many of those same Senators are asking to be re-elected. A list of all the Senators that opposed the late term abortion ban can be seen below:

A report by Life News highlights some from the above list up for re-election and reads:

A number of the politicians who voted to continue allowing late-term abortions are up for re-election this fall. They include U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota. Both pro-abortion Democrats face a big risk of losing their seats in the midterms.

Other pro-abortion votes came from U.S. Sens. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Jon Tester of Montana and Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, all of whom also are up for re-election this year.

According to a June 2018 polling review by Gallup, support for abortion “drops by about half, to 28%, for abortions conducted in the second three months, and by half again, to 13%, in the final three months.”

Court Protects 32-Week-Old Unborn Baby Conceived in Rape From Being Killed in Abortion

The Supreme Court of India has spared a late-term unborn baby and its 10-year-old mother, a rape victim, from abortion.

The young girl’s family is yet another this year to petition the Asian country’s high court for an exception to the late-term abortion ban. In the most recent case, the 10-year-old girl became pregnant after she allegedly was raped by her uncle, the Deccan Herald reports.

Abortions are illegal after 20 weeks of pregnancy in India. However, women increasingly have been petitioning the high court for permission to abort their late-term unborn babies because of fetal abnormalities. Some families of young rape victims also have made requests to the high court.

The young girl from Punjab is 32 weeks pregnant with her unborn child, and doctors who examined her said it is in her best interest to give birth to the child, according to Channel News Asia. This week, the high court agreed.

The Supreme Court judges said they cannot allow a termination because the medical report suggested it was “neither good for the mother nor the foetus”.

The girl, who has not been named, was allegedly raped several times by an uncle. He has been arrested for multiple rape.

The pregnancy was only discovered recently after her parents took her to hospital complaining of stomach pain. The parents then approached the courts to allow an abortion.

Their initial plea at a local court was declined over similar safety fears. The family challenged the ruling at the Supreme Court.

Lawyer for the girl’s family Alakh Srivastava told the Daily Trust the court also ordered that the girl and her baby be provided with “the best possible medical facilities.”

Pro-Abortion Nancy Pelosi: “What You Have Done for the Least of My Brethren You Did for Me”

U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi often uses religious terminology to defend her political positions on abortion, welfare and other issues.

A strong abortion advocate, the California Congresswoman once called her support of late-term abortions “sacred ground.”

On Sunday, she used a quote from Jesus in the Bible to describe born children as “the least of my brethren” and to call for more government funding of programs to help them. Pelosi did not mention abortion in her speech, but it’s clear from her record that she does not care about the millions of unborn babies who are dying brutal abortion deaths every year.

The Washington Free Beacon reports Pelosi made the remarks during a political rally about child poverty on Sunday in Los Angeles.

“I didn’t know this until recently, that when the Gospel of Matthew, ‘what you have done for the least of my brethren, you did for me,’ was something that Christ said in Holy Week, Tuesday of Holy Week,” Pelosi said. “So as we go into Holy Week, as we’re people of faith, people of morals, of morality, let us understand what that challenge is on this Palm Sunday to do the Lord’s work.”

She continued: “It is a fact in not only our Catholic faith, our Christian faith, but in all religions, that when we minister to the needs of God’s creation, that is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us. So if these people of such faith in our country truly are and in our state, they will recognize our obligation to our children.”

The “least of my brethren” teaching is about taking care of the most vulnerable members of society, a value that Pelosi strays from in her unrelenting support of abortion on demand. Nearly 1 million unborn babies are killed in abortions every year in the United States, making them some of the most vulnerable members of society today.

Curtis Boyd is one of just a few abortionists who still openly performs late-term abortions in America.

His practice of killing viable, late-term babies disgusts and horrifies most Americans but not the editors at Cosmopolitan. This week, the women’s magazine published a glowing profile of Boyd that highlighted his work, including his illegal abortion practice before Roe v. Wade.

Boyd runs two abortion facilities in Texas and New Mexico. Several months ago, investigators uncovered a suspicious relationship between Boyd and the University of New Mexico, which receives aborted baby parts from his abortion facility. The university also sent medical students for training at his late-term abortion facility.

A university spokesperson said they did not pay Boyd for the aborted babies’ body parts. The abortion facility also did not receive money for the medical students’ training, leading some to question whether the students’ work was exchanged for the aborted babies’ body parts.

In December 2015, the university broke ties with Boyd, but the women’s magazine did not mention any of this. Instead, the magazine allowed Boyd to paint himself as a hero for helping women to abort their unborn babies before it was legal.

He explained how he first got involved in abortion work back in 1967.

Late Term Abortions Are ‘Sacred’

At press conference this afternoon, she not only condemned a bill that would prohibit abortions during the final four months of pregnancy (with an exception for when the life of the mother is at risk), but referred to the practice as “sacred ground.” All while claiming to be a “respectful Catholic” no less.

If this is not evil, I’m not sure I know who – or what – is.

Asked to describe the moral difference between what convicted murderer Dr. Kermit Gosnell did to babies born alive and aborting those same infants moments before birth, Pelosi refused to answer.

“As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this. I don’t think it should have anything to do with politics.”

Leave it Pelosi to not only sickeningly place the murder of unborn children on “sacred ground,” but to denigrate the Catholic religion and drag it down into the gutter where she resides at the same time. Kudos, you hypocritical immoral jackass.

The evil hag then proceeded to lie through her teeth – claiming the bill that passed out of committee on Wednesday would ban all abortions, when in fact it’s a prohibition on abortion during the final four months of pregnancy – the point at which science indicates babies can feel pain and survive long-term if born.

“They would make it a federal law that there would be no abortion in our country.”

What a shame that Pelosi’s mother didn't believe in the sanctity of late-term abortion as well.
