Sarah was fleeing a violent boyfriend, homeless with nowhere to turn, and pregnant... with twins!

Twice the diapers. Twice the clothing. Twice the costs. Twice the anxiety. Sarah showed up at Good Counsel’s door scared and utterly hopeless. “I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she said. “I don’t have the financial means . . .”

Sarah needed a safe place to stay. More than that, she needed someone to care; someone to slip an arm around her shoulder, to assure her there is hope!

Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, we are there to welcome Sarah, her babies, and other scared pregnant women.

It’s Basket Bonanza for Moms & Babies Time!

Good Counsel Homes South Jersey Annual Buffet and Basket Fund Raiser, hosted by St. Margaret’s Knights of Columbus Council, at Infant Jesus Parish, (St. Margaret’s Gym) in Woodbury Heights. All proceeds will benefit the moms and babies of Good Counsel Homes, Riverside.

Doors open at 6:00 pm. Dine at a delicious all-you-can-eat Italian buffet provided by Botto’s Italian Line Restaurant, while listening to the musical stylings of John Childress. Peruse the bountiful gift baskets that could be yours and take your chances with the 50/50 raffle.

$30.00 advance tickets are available until February 18. After February 18, ticket prices will be $35.00 and will also be sold at the door. Bring your family and friends – we promise it will be a fantastically fun evening and knowing you are helping those less fortunate will make it a rewarding time as well, especially in this Year of Mercy.
