Jury Won't Convict Daleiden, Predicts Former Prosecutor

A former criminal prosecutor says the two pro-life activists indicted by a
Texas grand jury will walk free if their case is put before a jury.

"There's not a jury in Harris County that will convict David Daleiden," predicts attorney Abraham Hamilton III.

Hamilton is familiar with Harris County because he worked there in the same district attorney's office that indicted Daleiden and co-worker Sandra Merritt.

He tells OneNewsNow that Harris County is a conservative area and those conservative beliefs will be reflected in a jury that's seated for a criminal trial.

Presenting the case against Daleiden is a surprising move, he says, because a conviction is so unlikely and would reflect badly on District Attorney Devon Anderson.

Huckabee: GOP exodus over Planned Parenthood

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee insists that the GOP’s support of the recent $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill — which includes Planned Parenthood funding — is to blame for the mass exodus that is being witnessed from the Republican Party.

The former Arkansas governor insists that large numbers are leaving the GOP because they have lost their faith in their party, which controls both chambers of Congress that passed the controversial bill putting more taxpayer dollars in the hands of the world’s largest abortion provider.

"[The passage of the bill] put a lot of people over the top, [because after] working hard to get Republican majorities in the House and the Senate, [grassroots conservatives fail to see] significant policy changes," Huckabee recently stated on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

According to Huckabee, conservatives across America put their trust in the Republican officials who they voted into office to represent their party’s supposed platform ideals — including its fight against the federal funding of abortion. He says many were let down for the last time and have finally had enough of the GOP.

"That’s why people in the Republican Party are just bolting for the door," the former Fox talk show host expressed to former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough, according to LifeSiteNews.
