Tell your U.S. Rep: Investigate Planned Parenthood!

I know that it is mid-August, and you and your family are busy enjoying the last days of summer. But here in Washington, D.C., while the Congress is in August recess, Congressional Members are home in their states working.

Now is the perfect time to attend a town hall meeting or contact your U.S. House Members or U.S. Senators and ask if they have seen the recent videos released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) showing Planned Parenthood's top officials casually discussing the harvesting and sale of aborted baby parts, including hearts, lungs and livers. Last week the Center for Medical Progress released a video where a former employee of Stem Express, a biotechnology company said that sometimes the parts of aborted children are taken for research without the informed consent of the mother and just yesterday, CMP released a new video in which that former employee describes being called to dissect an aborted infant with a beating heart!

These videos are not only shocking, they expose the questionable practices of Planned Parenthood in performing abortions using procedures which may violate the Partial Birth Abortion Act, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, and provisions of the federal fetal tissue research and experimentation laws which require informed consent and prohibit altering abortion procedures for the purpose of harvesting infant body parts. The revelations about Planned Parenthood require action and we must demand that Congress step-up the investigations into Planned Parenthood's practices regarding fetal tissue.

With your help, we can continue to demand answers about Planned Parenthood's practices, and work towards policy changes to ensure that these atrocities are put to an end.
