Company Caught Hauling Away Boxes of Babies Killed in Late-Term Abortions Up to Birth

By Cheryl Sullenger
Life News

A new medical waste company has been hired by AbortionClinics.org (ACO), a late-term abortion facility located in Bethesda, Maryland, after two other companies cancelled contracts to pick up aborted baby remains there last month.

The new company, Bio-Haz Solutions, Inc., based in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, was first seen at ACO in early July making a pick-up of four large and apparently very heavy boxes.

ACO, which is owned and operated by the notorious late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart of Nebraska, is one of a handful of abortion facilities in the U.S. that openly abort babies through all nine months of pregnancy.

In fact, Carhart specializes in the extremely expensive multi-day abortions on nearly full-term babies and has been known to abort as many as a dozen such babies per week.

The driver of a Bio-Haz Solutions van was seen going into ACO with flat cardboard boxes and empty red plastic biohazard bags. He came out with two boxes at a time that were so full of aborted baby remains that the cardboard bowed out and crunched at the bottom.

“It was appalling to see those pictures of boxes that must have been full of the bodies and pregnancy tissue of very large aborted babies. Apparently, there had not been a pick up there for at least two weeks, so there could have been as many as two dozen babies weighing up to five pounds each in those boxes,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “That really brings home the barbarity of late-term abortions. It’s really the stuff of nightmares.”
Bio-Haz Solutions is the latest company to attempt to profit from the disposal of aborted babies at Carhart’s Bethesda abortion facility.

Biomedical Waste Services of Maryland cancelled its contract with ACO on June 5, 2018, after Operation Rescue urged pro-life supporters to flood its office with e-mails and phone calls. A second Maryland company, Biomedical Waste Services quit after just one pick-up on June 23 after a similar contact campaign yielded results.
“Now, it’s time to call on pro-life supporters to again reach out to this new company and ask them to stop working for Carhart,” said Newman. “Together, our voices have the power to change hearts and save lives.”

You Can Help Close This Abortion Clinic That Kills Babies in Abortions Up to Birth

By Cheryl Sullenger
Life News

In Bethesda, Maryland, there stands a non-descript multi-floor medical office building on busy Old Georgetown Road. Passersby likely give it a second thought – although perhaps they should.

One of the more recent tenants in the Wildwood Medical Center happens to be late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart and his AbortionClinics.org (ACO) facility. It is one of a handful of abortion facilities that openly abort babies throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

Now Operation Rescue is trying to persuade ACO’s landlord to terminate the abortion facility’s lease.

Carhart’s abortion business drew attention just a couple of weeks ago when it lost its waste disposal company, Biomedical Waste Services, which picked up the remains of aborted babies at Carhart’s office – some known to be as old as 31 weeks gestation – thanks to a public campaign launched by Operation Rescue.

“As far as we can tell, Carhart still has not been able to sign on with another waste disposal company. Who knows what he is doing with the remains of babies he aborts? It is likely that the amount of human tissue being stored in his office could pose a health hazard to everyone in the building,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.
The building is operated by Aubinoe Management Company. Since Carhart moved in last October, local pro-life activists have tried to convince the company’s president, Alvin “Tripp” Aubinoe, III, to terminate its agreement with Carhart and force him out of the building.

Now with the biohazard threat that ACO must pose, Aubinoe has the perfect excuse to get rid of Carhart’s notoriously unpopular abortion facility.

According to pro-life activist Missy Smith, who has canvassed the 40+ offices that share the building with Carhart’s grisly abortion business, most of the other tenants – primarily dentists and orthodontists who see a lot of children – would like to see Carhart go. They have complained that they are losing business due to the presence of the late-term abortion facility.

“It is our understanding that Carhart’s lease agreements with the Aubinoe Management Company could easily be terminated for cause in light of suspected ongoing biohazard issues and lost business suffered by his other tenants,” said Newman. “Aubinoe also has plans invest a large amount of money in an expansion the office complex at that location. But who would willingly lease office space next to a troubled late-term abortion business? He stands to lose a lot of money as long as Carhart remains one of his tenants.”
Maryland is one of the few states that allow abortions with no gestational limit. If Carhart’s ACO abortion business was asked to leave the Bethesda location, it may be some time before he can find another facility to lease – if ever.
“Imagine how many lives would be spared if Carhart was forced to shut down in Bethesda and could not get another office in Maryland! Imagine how many women would be safe from his well-known sloppy abortion practices,” said Newman. “By just by making a phone call, pro-life supporters could possibly close down Carhart’s very late-term abortion business, perhaps even permanently.”
Operation Rescue is asking pro-life supporters to contact Tripp Aubinoe and the Aubinoe Management Company and respectfully ask them to terminate the Carhart/AbortionClinic.org lease immediately.

Another Puff Piece About a Man Who Aborts Babies “At Any Stage of a Pregnancy”

Leroy Carhart, Late Term Abortionist
By Dave Andrusko
National Right to Life

Any story about late-term (and I do mean late term) abortionist LeRoy Carhart is really thinly disguised propaganda in service of justifying abortions so far along in pregnancy it makes even most abortionists blanch.

The justification for Alexandra Svokos to write a piece about Carhart for EliteDaily is to burnish Carhart’s self-described reputation as a pro-woman champion whose noble work was made more difficult when pro-lifers “forced” him to close his Germantown Reproductive Health Services in Germantown, Maryland in August. (That is not true, by the way, as we’ll discuss momentarily.)

Didn’t he successfully challenge a Nebraska state law? Why was he aborting babies into the third trimester in suburban Maryland, you might ask? Because Nebraska subsequently passed the first pain-capable unborn child protection act and Carhart lost a lucrative source of money.

Hold that thought.

The most interesting notion in Svokos’s piece (besides recycling the meme of Carhart as martyr selflessly working to “serve women”) is this gem from Chelsea Souder, a spokesperson for Carhart’s new abortion clinic which he opened in October down the road a piece in Bethesda, Maryland.
“Everything that all the anti-abortion extremists do actually drives us harder into our work, essentially. It kind of has the opposite effect, I think, of what they are going for when it comes to trying to intimidate and threaten and harass abortion providers. It’s not going to stop us.”
What is the “work” that pro-lifers are “driv[ing] Carhart’s crew to work “harder” at? To quote Svokos, “He is one of just four doctors in the country who provides abortions at any stage of a pregnancy.”
And for that noble enterprise, “he has been continuously targeted.”
You can read the entire flattering profile here so let me end by returning to money and Carhart.

In her first paragraph Svokos tells us that the abortion clinic where Carhart worked “was forced to close” when a prolife group that “protested the clinic and ran a crisis pregnancy center across the parking lot, bought the space.”

But as we reported at the time, using a pro-abortion source (a rabidly pro-abortion columnist for the Washington Post), it was about money. Todd Stave owned the Germantown clinic.

After Pro-Life Advocates Pray at New Abortion Clinic, It Cancels Every Abortion Appointment

By Cheryl Sullenger
Life News

A well-attended press conference and candlelight prayer vigil were held by pro-life activists at the Wildwood Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where abortionist LeRoy Carhart had planned to conduct late-term abortions beginning yesterday.

Members of a number of groups and churches gathered to share their concerns that the facility was unlicensed and would be operating illegally. (Watch video from the press conference.)
However, after it was reported by Operation Rescue on Friday, October 13, 2017, that Carhart had not obtained an abortion facility license as required by law, his office cancelled all abortion appointments set for yesterday.
At the end of the press conference, Lauren Handy of Mercy Missions DC, announced that all abortion appointments were cancelled.

Chelsea Soulder, Carhart’s clinic administrator at his Bellevue abortion business, was at the Bethesda office yesterday where she denied that any abortion appointments were cancelled when asked by reporters.

However, Operation Rescue has proof on file obtained from an ongoing undercover investigation that abortion appointments were indeed cancelled, and that Carhart’s plans to abort babies of “advanced gestation” have been thwarted for now.

Local pro-life groups also leafleted other businesses and concerned pro-life supporters from around the nation called the Aubinoe Management Company, which manages the office building, and asked that they cancel Carhart’s lease. [Its number is (301)986-9070.]

“Every day that abortions do not take place in Bethesda is a victory,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We pray Carhart’s new late-term abortion business never opens.”
Operation Rescue is grateful to all the wonderful people of Maryland and Washington D.C. who have worked tirelessly over the past few days to raise the alarm about Carhart’s illegal abortion plans. Those efforts will continue until Carhart is out of business in Maryland for good.

Carhart Sends 10th Patient to Hospital on Anniversary of Another Patient's Death

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Germantown, MD - Late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart has sent yet another abortion patient to the hospital - tragically on the anniversary of the death of one of his late-term abortion patients, Jennifer Morbelli, who died from complications to a 33-week abortion on February 7, 2013.

This is the 10th time Carhart has summoned an ambulance to transport one of his patients to the emergency room since he first began working at Germantown Reproductive Health Services (GRHS) in December 2010.
