SALIVATING AT THE GATES OF HELL

Hearkening back a couple of days to my horror at the news that sex educators are now using kids as young as 11 to collaborate in demonstrations of birth control objects like the condom, I have to wonder where our world is headed.

Not long after Stop Planned Parenthood International’s Rita Diller brought the sordid news mentioned above to my attention, I read a commentary by Michelle Malkin entitled “One Nation under Godlessness.” She told the story of an exemplary high school student who put his faith into action at a public high school and prayed with others during a free period. After three years of peacefully praying, with no complaints, this boy suddenly felt the wrath of the administration who called him to task for his actions. This truly sent chills down my spine. It is, as Malkin points out, “quite clear that the problem is not that there’s too much God in students’ lives. The problem is that there isn’t nearly enough of Him.”

And that is, in the proverbial nutshell, where we are at this moment in the history of our society. The grounding in faith in God that everyone presumed was being instilled in children at a very young age is, in fact, no longer even a thought in the heads of most modern parents.

Selfies have replaced scoldings.

Paychecks have replaced unquantifiable closeness between parent and child.

Possessions have become such an obsession for many that even a child or two are viewed as trophies instead of human beings who require constant nurturing.

Abortion, Honesty, and Amnesty

The aftermath of the election was made very real to me when I watched a 45-second video enumerating the many political failures of Planned Parenthood. The video brought to mind the question of whether or not average American voters were beginning to see through the deceptions propagated by the culture of death.

I was struck, not only with the video, but with an earlier headline in an online publication that went virtually unreported. The headline reads: “Obama Administration Allows Fertility Clinics to Sell U. S. Citizenship.”

What?

Yes. Think about this: “Conservative media are accusing the Obama administration of attempting to ‘sell U.S. citizenship’ to foreign children following the announcement from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that it will expand the definition of ‘mother’ and ‘parent’ to allow women who use assisted reproductive technology (ART) like egg donors to confer their U.S. citizenship on their children. The policy corrects a ‘glaring inequity’ in the law due to outdated terminology that has required some women to adopt the very children they've birthed.”

Post-Election Thoughts

Congratulations are in order and are extended to everyone involved in the political segment of our movement. It is clear that today pro-life Americans now have a much better chance of exposing Planned Parenthood’s evil ways, attaining better political traction for cutting off its funding spout, and hopefully ridding the nation of its evil.

We must also rejoice and be thankful that Planned Parenthood pawns Sandra Fluke, Wendy Davis, and others like them lost their races in utterly embarrassing ways. The truth has won the day in so many political races this week.

I congratulate Personhood USA and its outstanding analysis of the results that came pouring into our living rooms this past Tuesday night. As Josh Craddock said, “The raw increase in votes for personhood in Colorado indicates that Planned Parenthood’s lies are losing their effect. . . . The bottom line is that people’s minds have been changed on the issue of abortion because of Amendment 67.”

Yet we also have a great deal of work to do in exposing the grisly underbelly of an industry that is up to no good in any number of ways. The reports of its handiwork are stunning examples of all that we have left to accomplish on our road to the ultimate victory. And it needs to be said that the election results to which I just referred have not deterred a single one of these efforts.

The marketing of Brittany Maynard’s sad but tragic end continues to inspire the proponents of assisted suicide to press forward. Adam MacLeod explained it well when he wrote that suicide never looked “more vivacious.” Today, in the wake of Brittany’s death, the proponents of euthanasia (assisted suicide) press on, elections notwithstanding.

In addition, the surrogate motherhood industry continues to offer big bucks to gullible young women like Nancy, a vulnerable Mexican girl who received seven thousand British pounds ($11,140) for carrying the child of a homosexual couple. Unfortunately, Nancy’s story is not a rarity, especially among the poor and needy who will do anything to bring money home to their poverty stricken families.

Obama's America‏

You and I need to wake up.

We have watched the creation and rise of an Islamic State bent on our death and destruction and understand that this horror is happening because of our president's weakness and failure to act.

We have watched the horrific spread of Ebola throughout parts of Africa and now beginning in our own nation and realize that this is due to our president's failure to act with our best interests at heart. And we watch our national debt spiral out of control and threaten the future of our children and grandchildren due to our president's gross incompetence. We must now ask ourselves, "Why are we allowing this?"

America is sick. America is losing its soul. As a nation we surgically murder 3,000 nameless children every day. We discard them like garbage. And since 1973 we have surgically killed over 60,000,000 baby boys and girls due to our selfishness and utter lack of respect for human life and dignity.

 Our God is a merciful, loving, and forgiving God, but He is also a just God. I believe Barack Obama is a chastisement on the Lord's people for our failure to stand for the truth with courage and conviction regardless of the costs. We need to wake up.

At the end of a recent address to members of the most vile organization ever created, our president said, "Planned Parenthood, God bless you." Wow, what distorted thinking! God does not bless those who perpetrate and commit mass murder! I cannot think of a more egregious example of taking our Lord's name in vain!

I am often asked, "What can we do?" The very first thing we have done at American Life League is pray. We pray for our president every day. The hardest of hearts can be converted, and if we have the faith to pray -- and in the case of our president, also fast --conversion is possible. Pray for our president; pray and fast for his conversion.

 But we must also shine our light in the darkness. Every day at ALL we help save moms and babies from the lies and deception of those who kill and maim for profit. Children are not a disease; they are not a commodity to be discarded out of fear or convenience. Through God's grace we help convince pregnant women that they are already mothers, and that they have a beautiful gift living inside of them. Love changes hearts, but courage and fearlessness in Christ combats and defeats evil!
