Vice President Pence: White House ‘Stands Without Apology for the Sanctity of Human Life’

“If you look at the last year and a half, this is the most pro-life administration in American history.”

Vice President Mike Pence brought a packed hall to its feet when he declared,

“I couldn’t be more proud to serve as vice president to a president who stands without apology for the sanctity of human life.”
The Vice President spoke at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC, an annual gathering which draws conservative Christians from around the country.
“If you look at the last year and a half, this is the most pro-life administration in American history,” continued Pence.
“You know, it was my privilege to be the first sitting vice president to ever address the March for Life. And earlier this year, President Trump made history when he became the first president to address the March for Life from the Rose Garden live from the White House.”
“Under this president’s leadership we’ve reinstated and expanded the Mexico City policy so that our tax dollars never go to organizations that promote or perform abortions around the world,” said the Vice President.
“And it was my great honor as president of the Senate to cast the tie-breaking vote for the bill that President Trump signed to empower states to defend Planned Parenthood.”
“With your strong support, we’ve stood strong for life. But our administration has also taken action to protect and promote our first freedom, the freedom of religion and religious liberty for every American,” said Pence.
“Last year President Trump chose the National Day of Prayer to announce new policies to protect the religious liberty of every American regardless of their creed.”
“We’ve taken action to protect the conscience rights of doctors and nurses,” said Pence. “And after years of neglect, we’ve restored federal enforcement of our nation’s conscience laws and we ended the last administration’s assault on the Little Sisters of the Poor.”
The Vice President said that freedom of speech shouldn’t end at the threshold of our churches, and so the Trump Administration ended enforcement of the “Johnson Amendment,” which refers to a provision in the United States tax code which prohibits all non-profit organizations, including churches, from endorsing or opposing political candidates. Pence pledged to “fight until we repeal the Johnson Amendment once and for all.”

Franklin Graham Calls for Prayer for VP Pence After Latest Statements on Unborn Babies

By Peter Mitchell
Faith Family America

America is once again on track to stand up for the lives of unborn children. Many Christians admitted that they came to the polls in 2016 to specifically vote for Trump based on his pro-life views.

Now, with an open seat on the Supreme Court in the works, many people are excited about the possibility of overturning abortion laws in America. This past week, President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to be the next SCOTUS justice. He is an extremely pro-life choice and would be a deciding vote for the change.

Franklin Graham is now asking his supporters, and Christians everywhere, to pray for the cause. Specifically, Graham is asking us to pray for Vice President Mike Pence as he defends standing up against abortion.

"Will you join me in praying for God’s protection, wisdom, and blessing for @VP @Mike_Pence, @SecondLady Karen, and their family? I know it is an encouragement for them to know we are standing with them," wrote Graham on Twitter.
Will you join me in praying for God’s protection, wisdom, and blessing for @VP @Mike_Pence, @SecondLady Karen, and their family? I know it is an encouragement for them to know we are standing with them.

Pence recently spoke out about his proud stance against abortion.

"'I’m pro-life—I don’t apologize for it.' That’s what @VP told @DanaBashCNN. I’m grateful he stands for life & for biblical principles—& I’m thankful for the great job he’s doing for our country. He doesn’t back down & he doesn’t hedge," wrote Franklin.

"I, too, hope Roe v. Wade can be overturned for the sake of millions of children's lives and for the future of our nation," said Graham.

Joe Scarborough Claims VP Mike Pence Doesn’t Follow Bible, Ignores Biblical Admonition to Protect Life

By Scott Whitlock
Life News

The hosts of Morning Joe are angry once again. During a discussion on Tuesday of the policy of separating the children of illegals at the border, Joe Scarborough decided to play Bible expert and wondered if Mike Pence cuts out sections of the Bible (in the style of Thomas Jefferson).

Scarborough angrily lectured: “Mike Pence says he’s a Christian first. That’s fantastic. I’m sure he is. I do wonder if he has Jefferson’s Bible? If he’s cut out Matthew 25? If he’s cut out the part where Jesus actually is asked by disciples who is going to be able to sit on your right hand and who is going to be cast away?”

He continued: “And Jesus goes through the list and he talks about anyone that does this for the least among us is doing it to me. They will be with the sheep. Those who don’t will be tossed out — with the goats.”

Did Scarborough or other MSNBC hosts ever cite the Bible to Hillary Clinton when discussing the Democrat’s rabid support for abortion? Do the words in Matthew 25:40 about “the least of these brothers and sisters” matter in regard to the pro-life cause? And how often do liberals get called out for not living up to the Bible? Are these Democrats guilty of having Jefferson’s Bible?

In the same segment, former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt, who recently left the party, slimed the U.S. as worse than Venezuela and Cuba because they don’t have “internment camps for babies.”

The extraordinary and astounding hypocrisy of it to see the constancy of the assertion of Christian virtue by political leaders in this country who have established internment camps for babies and toddlers. And by the way, I never in a million years thought I would sit here or anywhere and say this. But the difference now between Venezuela and Cuba and the United States is this: Venezuela and Cuba are the countries without internment camps for babies and toddlers.

Vice-President Mike Pence: “We Have a President Who, Without Apology, Stands for the Sanctity of Human Life”

By Matthew Wagner
Life News

Vice President Mike Pence, a stalwart pro-lifer, recently made another stop in Pennsylvania, giving the commencement address at Grove City College. For his full remarks click here, but of particular note was this comment:

“And I can’t tell you how proud I am to be Vice President to a President who stands without apology for the sanctity of life and all the God-given liberties in the Constitution of the United States.”
The Trump Administration has given pro-lifers a renewed sense of hope after eight years of pro-abortion President Barack Obama. Some of the administration’s pro-life accomplishments so far include:

Vice President Mike Pence’s speech at the 2017 March for Life in Washington DC represented the first time a sitting Vice President spoke at the March.

President Trump reinstated a policy that prevents organizations receiving federal foreign aid from performing abortions or promoting them.

President Trump nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Now confirmed he will be a Justice in the mold of the late beloved Justice Antonin Scalia.

President Trump appointed avid pro-lifers to key cabinet positions including Kellyanne Conway as Senior Advisor, Tom Price as Secretary of Health and Human Services, Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador, and Ben Carson as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

President Trump even signed an executive order saying his administration will “provide regulatory relief for religious objectors to Obamacare’s burdensome preventive services mandate, a position supported by the Supreme Court decision in Hobby Lobby.”
