Why Hasn’t the NAACP Denounced the Racist Comments Made by Planned Parenthood’s Founder?

Nationwide — The NAACP religiously monitors the world for racist comments made by dignitaries, especially elected officials and organizations opposing the Democrat Party. The bias demonstrated is consistent with the decline of relevancy on issues adversely affecting the very people they were created to protect.

When informed and genuine advocates of the African American community see the devastating effects of eugenic policies perpetrated upon people-of-color, then learn the origins and racist comments as well as practices of the leading abortion provider Planned Parenthood, they are left baffled at the silence of America’s most prestigious defenders of civil rights. Let me enumerate some undeniable and inconvenient truths…

#1 – 1,786 African American children are killed each day by abortion.

#2 – Abortion is systemic and deliberate, and the leading provider of abortion in America is Planned Parenthood.

#3 – 52% of all African American pregnancies end in abortion.

#4 – Abortion is the most performed operation on a woman. It remains the least regulated medical procedure and is often completely ignored by health regulation enforcement.

#5 – Since the beginning of the eugenic plot to fraudulently produce the case of “Roe VS Wade” to the Supreme Court in 1973 – where ironically five white males claimed “…they didn’t know where life began…” – a holocaust where over 20 Million African American children have been systematically annihilated by abortion and thus denied access to the American Dream.

But where did this eugenic holocaust and denial of the American Dream begin? It began with Margaret Sanger, the founder and chief facilitator of the eugenic and systemic plan of abortion. She was an avowed White Supremist and was quoted as saying, “…colored people are human weeds and need to be exterminated… reckless breeders… spawning… human beings who never should have been born…” Margaret Sanger, “Pivot of Civilization.” 

Sanger, was in her time, the leading advocate of the eugenics movement, specifically of negative eugenics, which promoted the reduction of sexual reproduction and sterilization of people with undesired traits or economic conditions. 

She wrote, “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Margaret Sanger, “Women and the New Race” (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923).

If you doubt what I’m setting out here, you can read her works for yourself on the internet. You will be shocked. Margaret Sanger has nothing on “Papa John.” The University of Louisville said it will remove the Papa John’s name from its football stadium, and that it will rename the John H. Schnatter Center for Free Enterprise at its business college. Why? He used the “n” word and thus his name removed but Margaret Sanger’s name is still heralded and is still in the Smithsonian. What’s up with that? After all, this is far more important than pizza.

The documentary Maafa 21 empirically proves Margaret Sanger collaborated with the Nazi regime and corresponded regularly. Adolf Hitler commended and thanked her for her guidance in their eugenic implementation in Germany leading to the Final Solution and ultimately the Holocaust where Blacks, Jews and Gypsies were deemed inferior and targeted for sterilization and death in concentration camps. 

As well as collaborating with the Germans, Margaret Sanger also had the distinction of speaking over a dozen times at Ku Klux Klan rallies in the United Sates, and while she was speaking at these Klan Rallies, the Klan were at the same time actively lynching African Americans.

Planned Parenthood Kills More Blacks in 2 Weeks than the KKK Killed in a Century

What is it about truth that sends people scrambling to their “safe” (dishonest) spaces? Too many have such a visceral aversion to the truth. Even among fellow Christians, who claim that the truth sets us free, the resistance to inarguable facts is often met with misapplied defenses of grace and non-judgement.

One of my latest memes set off a firestorm among those who think that invoking history to illuminate its repeated present is “offensive”, “disgusting”, and “hurtful”.

The online graphic reads: 

“We kill more black lives in 2 weeks than the KKK lynched in a century…Planned Parenthood: Eugenics. No Matter What.” 

The URL in the meme provides the context of how abortion has become the leading killer in the black community. And finally, an image of a noose appears above those words as an instrument of racial violence (which killed an estimated 3,446 African-Americans). Today, an estimated 247 black lives are killed every day by Planned Parenthood with forceps, vacuum aspiration machines, chemicals and other devices.

Thousands liked and loved the meme on social media. It was even posted on Instagram by Bill Johnson—pastor of California megachurch, Bethel Church. I wish more pastors would stand firm in truth and love like he does. If churches actually talked openly about social issues, we’d could better address the brokenness (that only God can heal) in our present.

Some were more offended by the image of a noose than the fact that those made in the image of God have been slaughtered by the millions. Where is the outrage over the shedding of innocent blood?

In fact, Instagram deleted our post, warning us they would restrict or disable our account if we violate their guidelines again. We didn’t violate any guidelines. They claimed the meme “threatened” or “encouraged violence”. How does a meme denouncing racial violence possibly threaten violence against anyone?

Instagram can delete our posts, and even our account, but they can’t delete the truth. And of course, there was no due process, no appeal process, no one to reach to correct this injustice. There was no option other than to click OK and the purge was complete. #Liberalism.

Soooo…the meme is the problem, not the genocide. And yes, I used the word genocide. Fannie Lou Hamer did, too. Oh, and so did pre-pro-abortion Rev. Jesse Jackson.

What do you call it when more black babies are killed by abortion than are born alive? This is the grim reality in NYC where Planned Parenthood was spawned. Pro-abortion activists call this ‘reproductive justice’. When did justice become the strong and the profitable prevailing over the weak?

Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, boasted about keynoting a Ku Klux Klan meeting on in her autobiography (pp. 366-367). And no, not everyone was a racist in 1938, nor was every political figure open to speaking to a terrorist organization like the KKK. But Sanger found it amusing to address a secret meeting with KKK members and bragged about getting a dozen offers to speak to similar groups.

Sanger’s Planned Parenthood and Birth Control Review boards were filled with eugenicists who proudly paraded their racism and elitism. One of those was Lothrop Stoddard, a eugenicist, klansman, Planned Parenthood Board member and a prolific writer whose words inspired the NAZIS. His 1921 book, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy (as if you need any further explanation than the title), was a blueprint for racial hygiene theory employed with grotesque and incomprehensible effect during the Holocaust. Stoddard wrote (pg. 162): 

“The white race divides into three main sub-species the Nordics, the Alpines, and the Mediterraneans. All three are good stocks, ranking in genetic worth well above the various colored races. However, there seems to be no question that the Nordic is far and away the most valuable type; standing, indeed, at the head of the whole human genus. As Madison Grant well expresses it, the Nordic is ‘The Great Race.’” 

Madison Grant was the co-founder of the deeply racist American Eugenics Society (AES), and his book Passing of the Great Race was considered by Hitler to be his most valuable book.

Sanger was a member of the AES and was its most public figure. She led the crusade to, in her own words, “prevent the birth of defectives”.

University Removes Poster Honoring Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger After Pro-Life Students Protest

Pro-life students in the state of Missouri are celebrating a victory today. They successfully got the campus library at the University of Missouri to take down a poster honoring racist Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger.

Mizzou Students for Life announced today that Ellis Library, the on-campus library, has removed a poster of Margaret Sanger from the Ellis Library. The removal is the end result of a request by Students for Life to remove Sanger from the library, because of her support for eugenics. The library originally said they were going to remove it during their next review, but has immediately removed it.

Kristen Wood, president of Mizzou Students for Life, applauded the library for its move.

“We applaud the library for removing the poster and no longer celebrating Margaret Sanger and her eugenicist views. At the same time, we have told the library we expect they will never put the poster back up again, and if they do we will continue with our petitions and public pressure. 

 The university should never be celebrating and promoting someone who publicly opposed people in poverty and racial minorities from having children, and someone who supported putting people on birth control to prevent them from having children,” she told LifeNews.

Ceci Haberdash, the group’s Public Relations Chair noted another benefit of the decision to take down the poster.

A well-known eugenicist, Sanger wrote and spoke frequently about how certain groups of human beings were less valuable than others.

Sanger’s thoughts about the poor, immigrants and others were just as ugly. She described them as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” and “spawning … human beings who never should have been born” in her book “Pivot of Civilization.”

Sanger also wrote about getting rid of people with diseases and disabilities through sterilization and segregation, describing these “morons” as “a dead weight of human waste.”

Millions Miss Out on Joys of Grandparenting by Following Liberal Lies on Abortion

"I must confess to being an overly satisfied grandparent. It is an unbelievable blessing and joy."

An acquaintance once asked Winston Churchill if he had shown the statesman a picture of his grandchild. Churchill replied, saying something like: "No. And I have forgotten to thank you for that." 

I must confess to being an overly satisfied grandparent. It is an unbelievable blessing and joy. But tragically, tens of millions of fellow Americans will never experience this joy. Many of them will miss out because they have followed the siren song of the liberals and have chosen abortion over birth. It's too late to reach them, but it's not too late to reach the next generation.

Of course, this doesn't mean that there are not many grandparents in America who favor abortion rights. But the joy they know as grandparents came because they and their children chose birth over abortion.

Note the anti-child bias that can be seen from the woman who gave birth to Planned Parenthood.  Lifenews.com (11/17/17) has some shocking quotes from Margaret Sanger: "But for my view, I believe that there should be no more babies" (1947).

Nor did Margaret Sanger think highly of large families: "The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it" (1920). Nor black babies: "We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population..." (1939).

Sadly millions have listened to her advice. The Guttmacher Institute says that thirty percent of American women will have an abortion by age 45.

On top of the deaths of the aborted children, this comes with medical consequences. Research in the UK documents that having at least one abortion may increase the likelihood of giving birth to a premature baby later. 

This was based on a University of Aberdeen study involving 620,000 women between 1981 and 2007. The U.K. Daily Mail (9/4/12) says: "Having just one abortion could raise the risk of potentially life-threatening problems in future pregnancies."

The article notes: "surgical abortions may be more likely to damage the womb, leading to later problems."

The late John Wilkie, M.D., was for years the president of the National Right-to-Life in Washington, D.C. He and his wife compiled the book, Abortion: Questions and Answers (2003). They noted: "Women who had one induced abortion had a 17.5% miscarriage rate in subsequent pregnancies as compared to a 7.5% rate in a non-aborted group." (p. 163).

At the birth of my first grandchild, I was so excited. I knew it was going to be great to be a grandfather. But I didn't know it would be as great as it really is---like the phone call the other night asking, "Papa, will you take me to Chuck E. Cheeses'?" Of course, I replied with delight, "Elizabeth, I'd be happy to take you and Isaac there."

Planned Parenthood Leader Admits Abortion Biz Targets Blacks and Hispanics

Like a broken clock that’s right twice a day, you can count on Planned Parenthood to tell the truth every now and then. It’s just that, when the truth is out, it’s about as ugly as you can imagine.

Take the most recent example, an NPR news report out of Atlanta—a glowing look at Planned Parenthood Southeast and the abortuary it opened on the east side of Atlanta Saturday, Sept. 9.

Celebrating the new East Side location, which effectively replaces a downtown facility that was shut down in March of 2016, Planned Parenthood Southeast president Staci Fox reminded the world about the long-term business strategy for the nation’s leading abortion chain: Target minorities and poor people, then profit off them through abortion.

“Predominantly our patients are about 15-29 years old, women of color living at 150 percent or more under the federal poverty level and those are the women who qualify for Medicaid,” Fox told NPR.

Each year, over 33,000 preborn children are aborted in Georgia—each representing a boost for Planned Parenthood Southeast’s bottom line.

Presiding over a three-state affiliate that brought in a record $8.7 million in 2015—including $2.6 million in “program service revenue,” better known as “abortion fees”— Fox was joined at the ribbon-cutting by U.S. Representatives John Lewis and Hank Johnson, who are both members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Rep. Lewis made his mark as a civil rights leader walking alongside Martin Luther King Jr., but has long supported abortion on-demand—including a vote in favor of partial-birth abortion—earning a 100 percent rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America.

Founded by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, whose stated purpose was to purify the human race by ridding it of “human weeds” she considered a “clog” to society, the overwhelming majority of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics—including the new site in East Atlanta—are located within walking distance of predominately Black or Hispanic neighborhoods.

While Blacks and Latinos make up just 13 percent and 18 percent, respectively, of the U.S. population, they combine for 53 percent of abortions each year, according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute.

Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger Spoke to Ku Klux Klan and Supported Eugenics. So Why Does the Organization Still Honor Her?

The media seems to be doing an effective job of rightfully condemning many people who have an association with the Ku Klux Klan — but one exception to this seems to be Planned Parenthood’s “beloved” founder, Margaret Sanger. 

Margaret Sanger is usually described as a “birth control pioneer” who founded Planned Parenthood, but she also met with members of the Klan, advocated eugenics, and supported the use of sterilization to rid the planet of the “unfit.” Sanger wrote about her meeting with the Klan in her autobiography. Yet somehow this fact is made light of, glossed over, or completely ignored by the media.

On page 366 of her autobiography, Sanger described her meeting with the Klan, where she says she received additional invitations to speak with similar groups:

"I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…. I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…. I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…. In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered."

What about Sanger’s outspoken support for eugenics?

"While some may not be entirely familiar with the meaning of “eugenics,” it’s likely that those same people have seen it in action in various ways. Coined in the mid 1800’s by Francis Galton, the cousin of Charles Darwin, eugenics was a popular movement to create a society in which those who were considered “superior” would reproduce… while those who were deemed “inferior” would be encouraged not to reproduce." 

Tragically, this movement was credited with forcefully sterilizing many men and women. The targets of these horrendous acts were disproportionately Black and poor, according to many reports.

Eugenics victim Elaine Riddick speaks in the video below about being “cut up like a hog,” thanks to the philosophy of eugenics. Riddick, like some other Black citizens, was forcibly sterilized in North Carolina in 1968. Her tearful testimony encouraged state lawmakers to vote for reparations for those like her, who were eugenically sterilized.

So how does this relate to Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger? One of the prominent supporters of that horrific eugenics program was Clarence Gamble, and Gamble was a director of Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League, which later changed its name to Planned Parenthood.

Five Myths Planned Parenthood Tells About its Founder, Margaret Sanger

To accept Planned Parenthood’s account of its founder, Margaret Sanger, is to believe that a pioneering hero came on the scene and saved all of female humanity from a terrible fate of poverty and the bondage of childbirth. In reality, Sanger’s impact on women has been nothing short of devastating, no matter which way the abortion corporation likes to spin the rhetoric of its founder. 

A fact sheet heralds Sanger as a “trailblazer in the fight for reproductive rights” and a “hero.” Planned Parenthood claims Sanger was “[m]otivated by a deeply held compassion for the women and children whose homes she visited around the world,” because she “believed that universal access to birth control would result in several benefits.”

While those benefits sounds good on the surface, they are actually a mythical representation of what Planned Parenthood does approximately 900 times per day on average: kill preborn children. Taking a closer look at the contrast between the abortion giant’s spin on Sanger versus the reality of Sanger reveals the truth behind a few of those mythical assertions.

1. The Myth:

Planned Parenthood hails Sanger’s work to “[r]educe the need for abortion — a common and dangerous method of family planning in her time.”

The Truth:

Planned Parenthood’s work has actually increased abortion. In fact, since 1970, Planned Parenthood has killed over seven million babies. And as Live Action has shown, contrary to Planned Parenthood’s assertion that only three percent of its services are abortion, the truth is, Planned Parenthood does more abortions than any other single organization in the country, and has cornered about 35 percent of the abortion market.

In fact, Planned Parenthood has gone so far as to reward its affiliates who meet “abortion quotas.” And as Live Action News has reported, the abortion corporation itself has admitted to celebrating an increase in abortion services.

Awarding an increase in abortion visits is hardly a reflection of the claim that Sanger helped to “reduce the need for abortion.”

Planned Parenthood Supporter and Abortionists Agree: Abortion is Good Because it Eliminates Minorities

You’d think that the outcry would be great. Surely society would vehemently protest an industry disproportionately killing minorities at a startling rate. Surely the societal outcry would be enormous if such an industry was making money directly from the deaths of the poor and disadvantaged. Perhaps in a different society or in a different world, there would be.

Many people know by now that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a woman who believed strongly in eugenics — the weeding out of the “unfit” or “undesirables,” even endorsing forced sterilization. 

But so many have tried to honor Sanger’s work while claiming the organization no longer has any racist or eugenicist tendencies… that those things were merely a product of the time in which Planned Parenthood was birthed.

Unfortunately, we know that racism is like a cancer that never truly goes away. As Live Action News’ Danny David wrote, “Even in times of quiet, white supremacy survives in the shadows. As people who believe in the value of all human beings, it is our duty to call out the evil of white supremacy and fight it until it is no more.”

But sometimes, racism doesn’t stay in the shadows. Sometimes it comes out in public and says exactly what it thinks.

This past week, Bethany Janzen, Rocky Mountain Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America, shared a story about an interaction at a SLFA pro-life protest in Colorado between Kimberly, a participant in the protest, and a Planned Parenthood-supporting man. Jansen writes:

On Saturday, August 19th… [t]en pro-life high school, college, and young professionals stood peacefully outside of Dona Laurita Art and Photography which [wa]s hosting a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Louisville, Colorado. But many Planned Parenthood supporters did not respond in a similarly respectful demeanor.

One of these was a middle-aged white man who stopped with his family, inquiring why Kimberly, a minority graduate of a local university, was holding a “We Don’t Need Planned Parenthood” sign. 

Kimberly explained that Planned Parenthood does abortions which end an innocent human life. His response? Abortion is good because the crime rate has lowered since the 60’s due to a reduction in black crime.

Confused, Kimberly told him that about 66% of black children are aborted. The man responded this is why the crime rate went down.

“I asked him if less black people meant less crime and he said that’s exactly what he meant,” Kimberly stated.

NFL Star Benjamin Watson: Abortion is ‘The Ultimate Form of Racism’

A professional football star is exposing Planned Parenthood’s origins in the racist views of founder Margaret Sanger.

“I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks,” said Benjamin Watson, a tight end for the Baltimore Ravens, in an interview with the Turning Point Pregnant Resource Center in San Diego. “And it’s kind of ironic that it’s working.”

“We (as minorities) support candidates, and overwhelmingly support the idea of having Planned Parenthood and the like, and yet, that is why she created it. We are buying it hook, line, and sinker,” he said in part two of an interview with the pro-life center.

Watson has been married more than a decade and has five children. He calls himself a born again Christian and says his faith makes supporting the most vulnerable of God’s children his prerogative.

“If you are someone who cares about life period, then you have to care about it from conception all the way up to death,” he said. “To me, being pro-life means that you hold all life very dear and you understand that all life was created by God and that because of that, life has internal, intrinsic value, whether it’s capable of living on its own at that point or whether it is capable of living on its own at the end of its life.”

He said he’s not alone in his views in the NFL, where some players “are believers or have views that I agree with, but they don’t want to talk about it in a public forum. One-on-one they’ll talk about it, but Twitter, Facebook, or authoring a book about a polarizing topic? They don’t want to touch it.”

He said society had lost the art of “learning how to respectfully disagree with each other.”

It was not the first time Watson weighed in on controversial issue. He called for calm after the Baltimore riots and addressed abortion in the past, as well.

He weighed in on the Planned Parenthood videos, writing on Facebook,

“As horrific as it is, the issue isn’t really the sale of human parts. It’s the legal practice that allows this to even be a possibility. Killing children and simply discarding the leftovers is not any more acceptable than profiting off of them.”

How About We Tear Down the Statue of Planned Parenthood’s Racist Founder?

"If Sanger had her way, MLK and Rosa Parks would not have been born."

In recent weeks, headlines from town and cities across America have highlighted the removal of statues commemorating Civil War-era confederate figures from public squares and buildings.

Yet a statue remains in Washington D.C.’s Smithsonian Institution commemorating the one person responsible for the deaths of more African Americans that any other in history: Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood.

“More than 19 million black babies have been aborted since the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision legalized abortion in our country,” according to Michigan Right to Life’s website. “On average, 900 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.” Planned Parenthood is responsible for many of those abortions.

In August 2015, a group of Black pastors gathered in front of the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery to make known their plea for the removal of Sanger’s bust from the museum. Their request was rejected and the bust of Planned Parenthood’s founder remains on display today.

Asked about the continued presence of the bust at the museum, Linda St. Thomas, director of public affairs for the Smithsonian, emphasized to LifeSiteNews, “The Sanger statue has been there for many, many years.”

But so too have statues commemorating Confederate figures also been on display around the country for many, many years — until now.

Regarding the presence of Sanger’s bust in the Museum’s “Struggle for Justice” display, the pastors wrote a letter to the museum’s director, “Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies; an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as ‘the feeble minded; speaking at rallies of Ku Klux Klan women; and communications with Hitler sympathizers.”

Their letter continues, “Also, the notorious ‘Negro Project’ which sought to limit, if not eliminate, black births, was her brain child. Despite these well-documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice. The obvious incongruity is staggering!”

“Like Hitler, Sanger advocated eugenics — the extermination of people she deemed ‘undesirables,’” said the pastors. “Ironically, Sanger’s bust is featured in the NPG’s [National Portrait Gallery’s] ‘Struggle for Justice’ exhibit alongside two of America’s most celebrated and authentic champions of equal rights — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. If Sanger had her way, MLK and Rosa Parks would not have been born.”

Grandmas Start New Grandmothers for Abortion Group to Promote Aborting Grandkids

A group of elderly women wearing yellow T-shirts with the word “GRR!” splashed across the front gained public attention recently at the Maine state Capitol as they advocated for abortion, the Free Press reports.

GRR! stands for “Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights.” The group seeks to educate women at the local level about the pro-abortion agenda, and encourage women to speak with their local government officials about supporting abortion and other reproductive health issues. About 40 grandmothers participate in GRR!, according to the report.

Judy Kahrl founded the group after traveling to Africa and noticing young women who postponed family and childbearing for education and career. She said she noticed a disconnect with American society where abortion is more commonplace and yet the “pro-choice” crowd remains largely silent. So, she said she decided to start the local advocacy group GRR! on the Maine homefront.

“Abortion is a sticking point for many because it has become connected to religion,” Kahrl told the Free Press. “It’s not a religious issue. It’s not a Republican or Democratic issue. Reproductive freedom is a human rights issue.”

“This isn’t about us,” Kahrl added. “We’ve had our children and grandchildren. This is for them.”

Kahrl’s father, Dr. Clarence Gamble, associated with Procter and Gamble, graduated from Harvard Medical School, and later his practice delved into women’s health issues including birth control advocacy, according to the New Maine Times.

Gamble was “good friends” with Margaret Sanger, the founder of the Planned Parenthood abortion business, according to the report. He founded a grassroots organization called “Pathfinder International” devoted to international reproductive health education, including the promotion of abortion. Judy Kahrl sometimes accompanied her father on these trips, the report continued.

Despite founding an organization that has become the nation’s biggest abortion business, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger is being exalted by Hollywood as “an icon and hero,” Deadline reports.

Ellen Feldman’s book, Terrible Virtue, which is about Sanger’s life, is being turned into a film to highlight various aspects of Sanger’s work. Producing the film is Justine Ciarrocchi, a production partner of popular actress Jennifer Lawrence, and directing it is well-known actor and director Ron Howard, according to the report.

As Deadline reports:

Published by HarperCollins in March, Terrible Virtue focuses on Sanger as the daughter of a hard-drinking, smooth-tongued free thinker and mother worn down by 13 children, who vowed her life would be different. 

Following Sanger’s training as a nurse, her work alongside labor organizers, anarchists, socialists and other progressives and eventually her devotion to the cause of legalizing contraception, the film examines the risks she took and the impact she had that lasts to the present day.

“Margaret’s story as an advocate who led the battle for birth control and eventually founding Planned Parenthood is so relevant given our recent election and today’s climate as we are once again forced to deal with basic human rights,” Erika Olde, an assistant film producer, told Deadline. “I share a mutual passion of the subject with Justine and look forward to bringing this topic and heroic individual to the forefront.”

But abortion is not a “basic human rights” issue when it strips the most fundamental human right, life, to those who cannot speak for themselves. Today, Planned Parenthood has become the No. 1 abortion provider in the United States, stripping more than 320,000 unborn babies their right to life every year.

Clergy’ Woman’s Prayer Praises Planned Parenthood for Opening Door to Fight ‘Religious Machines’ Opposing Abortion

Speaking at a gathering in New York City celebrating the abortion and contraception giant Planned Parenthood, a United Church of Christ clergy woman delivered a prayer thanking God that the organization made way “for women to rise up against the political, religious and patriarchal machines that sought to undermine [their] right to choose.”

Neichelle Guidry Jones currently serves as the associate pastor to young adults at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, and is a member of the clergy advocacy board for Planned Parenthood. She opened Sunday’s gathering at New York’s City Hall, which included a proclamation from the wife of Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“God, we thank You on this day. We thank You for the miracle of another day and for our lives,” Guidry Jones began after greeting those gathered, “and for drawing us into this sacred space and time of celebration.”

“We celebrate today that on October 16, 1916, Margaret Sanger opened the doors of the first Planned Parenthood clinic right here in New York City. And with this act of courage and resistance, the doors were opened for women to overcome the silence, and the shame, and the stigma inflicted on our sexuality,” she said.

Guidry Jones then continued to praise the organization as opening the door for women to stand against those who oppose abortion.

“The doors were opened for women to know, and understand, and be agents of our bodies. The doors were opened for women to receive affordable reproductive and life-saving gynecological health care,” she asserted. “The doors were opened for women to rise up against the political, religious and patriarchal machines that sought to undermine our right to choose and decide what happens to our own perfect, beautiful and holy flesh.”

“And 100 years later, we celebrate the millions of girls and women who have received care. The millions of lives that have been saved,” Guidry Jones continued. “The millions of healthy, wanted children who have been born, and the millions of ways that have been made for women and girls to live strong, healthy and fulfilled lives.”

These "champions for choice" are hypocrites as they peddle their one and only choice, abortion. There are countless stories of young women, in a crisis pregnancy, who walked into Planned Parenthood.  They were not given information about alternatives to abortion.  Instead, they were pressured and told that abortion is the right decision. The only "choice" that Planned Parenthood wants these vulnerable women to choose is abortion. 

Alternatives:

There are 3,000 crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) across the country. They offer comprehensive help to meet the needs of these mothers before and after the birth of their baby. This includes housing, education, job training, life skills, and ancillary needs. Some allow the moms and their babies to stay for up to two years. 

Adoption services are available to those who choose to give their baby a loving home. These CPCs and mothers' homes, unlike Planned Parenthood, depend on the generosity of private donations. They give these women an opportunity to chose life for themselves and their babies.

Hillary Clinton’s Plan to Make Americans Fund Abortions “is Right Out of Margaret Sanger’s Playbook”

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has extreme ambitions for abortion on demand in America. She wants to make it taxpayer funded and available until the day of birth — and she does not want the First Amendment to get in her way. 

Fortunately for Americans who want to disentangle tax dollars from abortion — which pro-life Americans consider morally wrong and which a number of pro-choice Americans consider morally fraught — we do have another option this November.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump recently released his pro-life platform, which includes making permanent the Hyde Amendment, the 1976 law prohibiting the use of federal money for abortion except in cases when the mother’s life is at stake or in cases of rape or incest. 

He promises to sign into law the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which I cosponsored and supported on the House floor; nominate pro-life justices to the Supreme Court; and defund Planned Parenthood so long as they continue to perform abortions.

If elected president, Hillary Clinton promises to repeal the Hyde Amendment. Likewise, the 2016 Democratic Party platform states the party’s intention to overturn laws and policies that it believes “impede a woman’s access to abortion,” including the Hyde Amendment.  This aggressive abortion agenda reflects a radical departure from commonly held positions of pro-life and pro-choice Americans over the past four decades and is not based on current public opinion. 

According to a recent poll by the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, about eight in 10 Americans support restrictions on abortion and would limit the procedure to the first three months of pregnancy. Moreover, 62 percent of Americans oppose taxpayer funding for abortion, including 45 percent of pro-choice Americans.

Absent public pressure for taxpayer funded abortion, what is the Left’s motivation to expand abortion? Abortion is certainly lucrative. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards was paid more than $2.47 million from 2009 to 2013. 

In 2013, the profit-driven abortion giant reported net assets of $1.4 billion, performed 327,653 abortions, and accepted $528 million in taxpayer funds. But beyond this, abortion is one of the most powerful tools at liberal elites’ disposal to socially engineer society.

Take it from Mrs. Clinton. Last year during a speech she gave at the 6th annual Women in the World Summit she unapologetically painted “religious beliefs,” as an undue obstacle to abortion. She suggested that abortion (unsurprisingly veiled under the phrase “reproductive healthcare”) is necessary for women’s advancement in society. 

"Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she opined, “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”

Planned Parenthood’s Ties to Eugenics Go Far Beyond Margaret Sanger

One of the more frustrating things pro-lifers hear from abortion supporters is the claim that Planned Parenthood has never been about eugenics. It is simply intellectually dishonest as well as a total denial of history to make such a claim. Such was the case recently when MSNBC’s Joy Reid defended Planned Parenthood and cut off a guest who criticized Hillary Clinton because she once admitted that she admired Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger.

[Sanger] began to build the work of the American Birth Control League, and ultimately, of Planned Parenthood. Margaret relied heavily on the men, women, ideas, and resources of the Eugenics movement. Virtually all of the organization’s board members were Eugenicists. Financing for the early projects from the opening of the birth control clinics to the publishing of the revolutionary literature – came from Eugenicists. 

The speakers at the conferences, the authors of the literature and the providers of the services were almost without exception avid Eugenicists. And the international work of Planned Parenthood were originally housed in the offices of the Eugenics Society while the organizations themselves were institutionally intertwined for years.According to author George Grant in his book Grand Illusions: The Legacy of Planned Parenthood:

Sanger was an avowed eugenicist and a member of the American Eugenics Society, and she also proudly spoke to the Ku Klux Klan, something she described in her autobiography…

I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered. (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366

But, as abortion supporters who view Sanger as a heroine often do, they make the claim that Sanger is dead and therefore we are to simply ignore her Klan interactions, eugenics connections, rants about immigrants, push for forced sterilization and her failed goal of merging with the Eugenics Society.

Today, we are told that Sanger was a product of her day and that her attempt to have the “unfit” sterilized, the “feebleminded” shipped off, or her radical suggestion that couples be forced to get a permit from the state to have children she wrote: 

“No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, and no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit for parenthood“ had no lasting impact on the organization she founded, namely, Planned Parenthood.

The fact is that despite the claims of their supporters, not only does Planned Parenthood have a connection to eugenics separate from their founder, but many of Planned Parenthood’s officials were members or leaders of the American Eugenics Society. What Did Margaret Sanger Think about Abortion?

Yesterday, January 22nd, 2013, is the anniversary of a date that should live in infamy. It was the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion throughout the United States.
