Got Junk: Late-term Abortion Business Loads Up Junk Truck in Preparation for Closing

Germantown, Maryland - Somehow, calling the 1-800-Got-Junk people seemed appropriate for Germantown Reproductive Health Services as it prepared for its permanent closure.

A local pro-life activist snapped a photo of a junk truck at GRHS on August 30, 2017, as it was loaded up with office equipment and furnishings from the notorious late-term abortion facility.

"I'm not sure there is a sweeter sight than a junk truck coming for the contents of an abortion facility," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

Carhart Sends 10th Patient to Hospital on Anniversary of Another Patient's Death

Germantown, MD - Late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart has sent yet another abortion patient to the hospital - tragically on the anniversary of the death of one of his late-term abortion patients, Jennifer Morbelli, who died from complications to a 33-week abortion on February 7, 2013.

This is the 10th time Carhart has summoned an ambulance to transport one of his patients to the emergency room since he first began working at Germantown Reproductive Health Services (GRHS) in December 2010.

Overdosed Woman Aborted Without Consent at Haskell's Late-term Abortion Facility

Dayton, OH - New documents just acquired by Operation Rescue show that the Women's Med Center, a late-term abortion facility in Dayton, Ohio, committed violations of Ambulatory Surgical Facility rules by aborting a late-term pregnancy on a 31-year old woman who was so impaired by an overdose of street drugs that she could not give her consent.

The owner and medical director of the Women's Med Center (WMC) is the notorious third-trimester abortion specialist Martin Haskell.

Couple Sues Abortionist Warren Hern for Malpractice in Late-Term Nightmare

Boulder, Colorado - Jennifer and Jason found out sometime in early 2013 that they were having a baby.

The expectancy of a new son or daughter can be a joyous time for couples, but for them, that joy was cut short after their baby boy was prenatally diagnosed with "severe cerebral abnormalities" near the end of Jennifer's second trimester of pregnancy. She was told that her son would have a life expectancy of less than one year, if he survived delivery.

After consulting with a number of physicians, Jennifer and Jason made the "difficult" and fateful decision to abort their baby in "the best interest of Jennifer's health." They scheduled an appointment at Warren Hern's Boulder Abortion Clinic, in Boulder, Colorado, the nearest facility where very late-term abortions were available.

They probably wish they could take back that decision.

According to a Federal Court lawsuit filed by them in Colorado, Jennifer suffered a horrific late-term abortion complication that she says has caused her physical pain, mental suffering, and the loss of her ability to bear children. The couple is seeking upwards of $75,000 in medical costs, in addition to attorney fees and any punitive damages that might be awarded by the Court.

Number of Late-term Abortion Facilities in the USA May Surprise You

Washington, D.C. - When Marist polled the American public on the subject of late-term abortion in November 2015, the results were striking.

A full 81% of Americans support banning abortion after the first trimester of pregnancy. Even among those who identify themselves as "pro-choice," two-thirds oppose second and third trimester abortions to the extent that they agree they should be illegal.

Clearly, based on the unpopularity of late-term abortions, one might conclude that the number of abortion facilities that conduct these abortion procedures would be very small.

However, according to a survey conducted by Operation Rescue in December 2015 through January 2016, the actual number might be surprising.
