#ProtestPP Rally Strong Showing in Philadelphia

Pro-Lifers peacefully assembling outside of largest PP in Pa., in center city Philly

It was a beautiful Saturday morning for #ProtestPP in Philadelphia. 100 prolifers showed up to pray. The morning began with the recitation of the rosary. It is urged by many Catholic pro-lifers to pray for an end to abortion with a rosary a day throughout May.

A young Nigerian named John Aruna opened up the event. He shared how he was blessed to have survived Boko Haram while living in Nigeria. However, when he came to America, his heart became heavy when he found out innocent babies are killed by abortion.

Dr. Monique Ruberu took the podium next as she shared the story of a young mom named Hade who walked out of Planned Parenthood, direly sick. A young worker at the Community Women's Center next door named Faith Leopold called Monique when she noticed Hade showing signs of dehydration. Faith not only got her to hospital, but she stayed with her like the Good Samaritan. Hade would later give birth to her son, Egypt.

"Your son is a miracle and gift to all of us" alluded Monique.

Pastor Bill Devlin wrapped up the rally with a call to action. He urged those gathered to continue defending the vulnerable.

Pat Stanton compared two women.. Margaret Sanger and St Teresa of Calcutta. Sanger tells that the most merciful thing to do to a child is to kill it. Meanwhile, St. Teresa of Calcutta went to the poorest of India to love the poor. She also boldly proclaim during a prayer breakfast in 1994 that abortion is the destroyer of peace.

The comparison is clear. St. Teresa shows us how to show mercy towards others.

New Jersey Action Alert! Take Action Against Gestational Surrogacy Bill

from Marie Tasy, Executive Director
New Jersey Right to Life

Please take immediate action on the following bill.

The Gestational Surrogacy bill, A1704/S482 passed both Houses of the Legislature and is now sitting on Governor Murphy's desk.

If he doesn't sign, veto or conditionally veto it by May 28th, it will become law.

Below are some reasons why this bill should be opposed:

This legislation will legalize the commodification of children and exploitation of women. It poses the risk of developing a breeder class of women, who will be subjected to exploitation by brokers and agencies that have a financial interest in the passage of this law. The Assembly Sponsor Valerie Vaneri Huttle admitted at the 2/12 Assembly Women and Children's Committee that the intended parents will have the right to direct the birth mother to have an abortion or reduction of her pregnancy if they so desire.

There are no restrictions or limitations on how many surrogate pregnancies a woman can have.

The legislation is silent on the actual language that will exist in the contract, allowing surrogacy brokers to impose all types of unknown stipulations that cater to the whims and wishes of the intended parents and direct nearly every detail of the surrogate's life up to the moment of birth and surrendering of the child.  Please click on this link to read this research article.

Please email and Call Governor Murphy and tell him to Veto A1704/S482.

#PROTESTPP in Norristown, Pennsylvania Draws Over 40 Pro-Life Warriors

from Rita Smith, M.E.V.
(Missionaries of the Gospel of Life)

Praise God!!! I am very grateful that we experienced an awesome turnout of 40+ pro-life prayer warriors 's at the Protest PP Norristown, Pennsylvania location. The weather was warm and sunny after Friday's dreary rainy forecast. People of Life were still coming to pray and witness after 12:00 pm when it had ended.

Earlier while we were praying there was a man in a white car that drove by so fast and angry. He turned the car around and past us again. My husband, Tom was not happy about witnessing this downright obnoxious and scary behavior. We all prayed a Hail Mary for him as he was very very angry.

Here is another picture taken at  Saturday's protest

I've dedicated Saturday's #ProtestPP in loving memory to precious baby Alfie! My Jesus, Mercy!!! God bless all the pro-life prayer warrior's who defend life from conception to natural death!

Please Contact Your New Jersey State Assembly Member on the Child Marriage Ban Bill

from Marie Tasy, Executive Director
New Jersey Right to Life

The Child Marriage Ban Bill, A865/S427 passed the NJ Senate on April 12. The bill is awaiting a hearing before the Assembly Judiciary Committee.

Every state except NY that has taken up this legislation has added an exception to allow teenagers aged 16-17 to marry. However, even in NY, an amendment was added to allow an exception for 17 year olds to marry.

You will recall that Governor Christie issued a CV of this bill last year suggesting that an exception be made for 16 and 17 year olds. Here is an excerpt from his conditional veto:

"It is disingenuous to hold that a 16-year-old may never consent to marriage, although New Jersey law permits the very same 16-year-old to consent to sex or obtain an abortion without so much as parental knowledge, let alone consent," Christie wrote. "That inconsistency in logic undercuts the alleged logic of an outright ban."  (Use this link to read Politico's article.)

There is an abortion component to this bill, although not expressly stated. If a pregnant 16 or 17 year old wants to marry the father of her child and will be prohibited to because of this law, the only choice she will have is unwed motherhood or abortion. If there is truly a problem with the judicial system missing cases of forced marriages, than that needs to be addressed.

This is a one size fits all approach and it's flawed legislation. Abortion groups which include NOW and Planned Parenthood support the bill.

Please contact your 2 Assembly Members and urge them to Vote No on A865/S427 unless an amendment is added to allow pregnant 16 and17 yr olds to marry.

Please call, email and schedule a meeting with your 2 State Assembly Members immediately and urge them to Vote No on A865/S427.

Hundreds of Tearful Alfie Evans Supporters Release Balloons to Honor Him After His Death

A British doctors group, The Medical Ethics Alliance,
that it called a “medical tyranny.”

By Steven Ertelt
Life News

Hundreds of tearful supporters of Alfie Evans and his family gathered at a park near Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to release balloons today to honor the little boy after his death.

Five days after a children’s hospital yanked his life support without his parent’s permission, little Alfie Evans has died. Alfie’s death comes after a massive legal battle between the hospital and his parents Tom and Kate.

An administrator of the Alfie Army Facebook page posted a video of the moving ceremony.

In posts on Facebook, Alfie’s mother and father confirmed his passing.

“Our baby boy grew his wings tonight at 2:30 am. We are heart broken. Thank you everyone for all your support,” she wrote.
“My gladiator lay down his shield and gained his wings at 02:30 absolutely heartbroken,” the boy’s father Tom Evans wrote on Facebook.
Pope Francis has responded to the death of little Alfie Evans, the disabled boy who died just days short of his 2nd birthday. The leader of the Catholic Church expressed the kind of sentiments that people around the world are expressing today. He talked about his sadness and he talked about Alfie being embraced by the Lord in heaven.
“I am deeply moved by the death of little Alfie. Today I pray especially for his parents, as God the Father receives him in his tender embrace,” the pope tweeted on Saturday.
The legal battle sparked anger nationwide in England but also internationally as people stood up for Alfie’s parents and strongly opposed courts and hospitals making life and death decisions for patients over their families objections. There is concern that the hospital contributed to his death.

As LifeNews reported, after removing his life support without permission, officials at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital waited 28 hours before finally feeding the 23-month old boy, who was fighting a rare neurological condition. Alfie’s Father Tom Evans confirmed at the time that his son was finally being fed but he condemned hospital officials for waiting so long to finally get him the nutrition he needs.

“They only started feeding him at one ‘o’clock yesterday. It’s disgusting how he’s being treated,” Evans said. “Not even an animal would be treated like this. He’s proving them wrong. It’s time to give him some grace and dignity and let him go home or to Italy.”
The other day, Alfie’s parents changed course and decided to end their battle.

Federal Judge: HHS Can’t Halt Obama-Era Sex Education Grant to Planned Parenthood

By Kelli
Live Action News

A Washington federal judge ruled this week that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is not allowed to terminate a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program grant, which was set to extend to 2020, two years early. The lawsuit was filed by Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, and “was joined by Planned Parenthood affiliates in Alaska, Hawaii, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Texas and Nebraska,” according to Courthouse News Service, arguing that early termination of the “research” from the program would cause “irreparable harm.” CNS also noted the judge’s remarks:
“The court finds that HHS arbitrarily and capriciously terminated the (teen pregnancy prevention) program,” Rice wrote. “The court determines that the public interest weighs in favor of (Planned Parenthood), as it would prevent harm to the community and prevent loss of data regarding the effectiveness of teen pregnancy prevention.”
“[S]ince the program’s inception in 2010, the teen birth rate in the United States has dropped by 41 percent,” the plaintiffs claimed in their lawsuit.
But while Planned Parenthood tries to take credit for this, the truth is that as abortions have decreased nationally, Planned Parenthood has managed to increase its market share of abortions in the United States to nearly 35 percent. And while the organization continues to sneer at abstinence-based sex education, the CDC reports that teen sexual activity has decreased 12 percent over the past two decades.

And Valerie Huber, chief of staff for the Office of Assistant Secretary of Health, stated that the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program actually “normalizes teen sex” — something sadly predictable from an organization like Planned Parenthood, which has been known to give teens dangerous advice on sex.

In 2016, Live Action News noted that a five-year HHS study revealed that “in some cases, the federally-funded sex education programs helped contribute to an increase of pregnancy and sexual exploration in teenagers, while other programs didn’t impact behavior changes at all.” Among those who received grants for this failed sex education? Planned Parenthood.

Live Action News reported last year that U.S. and U.K. studies have both recently shown that sex education and birth control access don’t reduce teen pregnancy — and in fact, may have the opposite effect.
“The public has been led to believe that providing sex education programs, as well as contraception, is the best way to reduce unwanted pregnancies, as well as the abortions that often follow,” wrote Live Action News’ Susan Michelle-Hanson. “But when these 149 UK regions cut funding for these programs, the results indicated the opposite.”

YouTube Singing Sensation Reveals How Bible Verse Saved Her From Aborting Daughter

By Calvin Freiburger
Life Site News

Kimberly Henderson is a musician who rose to prominence in 2014 thanks to a viral video of her singing to her baby daughter Vaida. And it would never have happened had God not convinced her to walk out of an abortion facility the year before.

On Monday, the Daily Wire revisited Henderson’s story, which she details in full on Facebook
“I sat in the abortion clinic for nearly 7 hours,” she writes. “I remember wearing a pink t shirt that was soaking wet from crying.”
She had made the March 15, 2013 visit out of fear of having another child all alone, her outlook further worsened by a cheating boyfriend and fear of what others might think of her.

Despite part of her being desperate to justify the abortion and feeling she had no other choice, Henderson says a heavy heart kept her in conflict and desperate for a divine signal of what to do.
“I prayed God would stop and give me a sign, give me the strength to get up and walk out of here,” she says…which is exactly what happened next.
When she was finally called to the front desk, Henderson says that fumbling through her wallet caused a card she had received the previous Saturday to fall out. It was a church card bearing Isaiah 41:10:
“Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Henderson is convinced God was speaking to her through that card, which finally gave her the will to turn around.

On her way out the door, a girl Henderson estimates to be 19 years old lamented, “I wish I could be brave like you.” Henderson told her she could do the same thing, but the girl replied that unspecified “serious circumstances” left her with no other choice.

Before they parted, though, the girl told her,
“When you see your baby's face for the first time you're gonna be so glad you walked out of here today.”

British MP Proposes “Alfie’s Law” to Restore Parental Rights in Medical Situations

 "It’s time for Alfie’s Law”

By Cassy Fiano
Live Action News

The world watched in horror as Charlie Gard’s parents had their ability to make medical decisions forcibly taken away from them at the hands of the British government. Charlie was initially diagnosed with a rare RRM2B mitochondrial depletion syndrome, and his parents raised over $1.5 million for his care, hoping to take him to the United States to receive experimental treatment.

This set off multiple court battles, as the Great Ormond Street Hospital and the British government repeatedly refused to allow them to seek care outside of the country. Charlie’s life support was ultimately removed, against his parents’ will, and he died last year.

Then the same situation happened again, this time with Alfie Evans. Unlike Charlie, Alfie still does not have a definitive diagnosis, but because his condition seems unlikely to improve — meaning that Alfie will be severely disabled for his entire life, if he does not die soon — staff at Alder Hey Hospital, along with the British government, seemingly want him dead. Alfie’s parents want to take their son to Bambino Gesu Hospital in Rome, where doctors are willing to treat Alfie with palliative care, and they also had air ambulance companies standing by to safely transport him.

But it did not matter; Alfie’s parents lost appeal after appeal as judges ruled that there was no point in allowing Alife to continue living. Alfie’s life support was removed, but he has not died quickly as expected; instead, he’s been breathing independently for several days now. Astonishingly, hospital staff cruelly refused Alfie oxygen, food, and water for well over 24 hours, perhaps in the expectation that the toddler would not survive long.

Alfie’s case has, like Charlie’s, sparked international outrage. Now, a British MP is stepping in with a new proposal, which he calls “Alfie’s Law,” to ensure that no family has to go through such a horrific situation again.

MP Steve Woolfe announced his plan on Facebook, citing Alfie and Charlie’s cases, along with a boy named Aysha King, whose parents took him to the Czech Republic for proton beam therapy, and were “hunted across Europe” for it. Ashya is now in remission.

Woolfe launched his campaign outside the Houses of Parliament, calling for parents to have their right to make medical decisions for their children restored in the United Kingdom.

“The cases of Charlie Gard, Aysha King, and now Alfie Evans, show a dangerous trend of public bodies depriving parents and families of the right to make decisions they believe are in the best interests of their children,” he said during a press conference.
“Parents’ rights should neither be ignored nor dismissed as irrelevant by hospitals and courts, who believe they know best and have the power, money and resources to overwhelm families who simply want to save their child.”
“We demand a change in the law to restore the rights of parents in such decisions. All parents should be allowed an independent advocate to defend their case with the right legal and medical expertise and financial equality of arms,” he continued. “Now is the time to act. We cannot have another baby, another family, have to go through the struggle and torment the Evans family have. It’s time for Alfie’s Law.”

Note: Alfie Evans passed from this life on 4/28/18. Please pray for his family and for a change in the laws in the not-so-great Britain.

Trump Administration Says Abortion is Not a Human Right

By Austin Ruse
Life News

(C-Fam) In presenting the annual U.S. report on global human rights, Ambassador Michael Kozak told reporters that abortion is not a human right and therefore “reproductive rights” was no longer included in the report.

“Reproductive rights” was a rather recent addition to the report, included by the Obama administration that, Kozak claims, never intended the term to include abortion. He said it only acquired that meaning in recent years through its use by partisans on both sides of the abortion debate.

If this were true, the question arises as to why the term abortion is used under the “reproductive rights” section in the 2013 report on Ireland. Pro-lifers would point out that at least in general usage, the term has always included abortion. Kozak did correctly describe abortion as a largely unsettled question of national policy around the world.

Kozak said that forced abortions and involuntary sterilization would be considered violations of human rights. He said, “it is internationally recognized that somebody should force you to have an abortion or coerce you to be sterilized.”
Kozak said, “We’ve really gotten at it by flipping back to the original U.S. statutory language. It’s in places like China where in order to enforce their — now — two-child policy that there are reports of coerced abortion and involuntary sterilization [or] in North Korea, where the government also coerces [or] forces abortion — although sometimes that’s for political punishment rather than family planning.”
The U.S. report and Kozak’s statements on abortion certainly run afoul of the political left. The report has already been blasted by Amnesty International which says this is further proof the United States under President Trump is moving farther away from human rights globally. The pro-abortion Center for Human Rights maintains that abortion is a human right through customary international law.

Alfie Evans’s—and Britain’s—Dark Hour

by John Stonestreet with Roberto Rivera
BreakPoint

Honestly, I’m not sure which hour is Britain’s darkest, the Blitz of 1940 or right now.

The recent blockbuster film “Darkest Hour” portrayed Winston Churchill’s gallant effort to save Britain from the Nazi war machine, as well as the evil ideology that fueled it—an ideology that destroyed human beings deemed inferior and unworthy of life.

Many forget that Hitler’s first target for extermination were individuals with disability. Sadly, even as the heroic British generation that kept the Nazis at bay ages and passes away, the British government today, through its healthcare system, is embracing the killing of innocents in a way that would make Hitler and his henchman proud.

Last summer, we told you about Charlie Gard, a British child with a rare genetic disorder. A London hospital decided, with the backing of the British government, that his case was hopeless, and despite his parents’ wishes, that he should be left to die.

Charlie did die after the hospital withdrew mechanical ventilation.

Botched Abortion at Little Rock Abortion Facility Leads Discovery of 60 Such Emergencies

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Little Rock, AR - A medical emergency that took place last month at Little Rock Family Planning, an abortion facility located in Little Rock, Arkansas, has opened the door to learn more about a dangerous increase in life-threatening abortion complications at that facility since the start of 2018.

It began on March 31, 2018, when pro-life activists photographed an ambulance at Little Rock Family Planning.

Pro-life activist Mary Silfies told Operation Rescue that a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for 911 records related to the incident was denied by the Little Rock City Attorney "because it involved a juvenile."

Two Very Personal Reasons Tucker Carlson Hates Abortion

Susan Carlson informed the doctor...“you’re not allowed to kill that child. You know why? Because you’re not God.”

By Jonathan Van Maren
National Right to Life

Whenever I see a media figure passionately defend the pro-life position, I always get curious. It’s not surprising that there are pro-life people in the media, of course, especially on the right side of the spectrum.

But when someone chooses to dedicate his time and energy in the media sphere to exposing the truth about abortion, revealing the lies of abortion activists, and advocating for the rights of pro-lifers to bring the truth to the public square week after week, I want to know what drives that passion.

Tucker Carlson, host of the wildly popular FOX News show Tucker Carlson Tonight, covers the abortion issue almost weekly, and he frequently brings pro-life activists on his show – from students experiencing censorship to well-known leaders like Lila Rose of Live Action.

He’s forced an apologist from Planned Parenthood to defend her views on abortion, interviewed a former Planned Parenthood director who changed her mind, condemned the promotion of abortion, and demanded that Democratic politicians explain when life begins.

There are other pro-life anchors at FOX News, but none who so intelligently and consistently addresses the issue from nearly every angle. So what makes Carlson so passionate about the issue?

As it turns out, the abortion issue is deeply personal one for Carlson. His father Richard was born in Boston in 1941 – to a fifteen-year-old girl – before being sent to an orphanage. If abortion had been legal at the time, Carlson believes, his father probably would never have been born. “If it had been 1973,” he told [https://vitaefoundation.org/16187] a pro-life audience, “I wouldn’t be here.”

The story of his father’s growing-up years is “a really messy story,” Carlson related. “Just because you make the right decision doesn’t mean it’s easy. That’s one of the reasons people make the wrong decisions – because they fear that messiness.” For Carlson, though, that story had a happy ending. “In the end it worked out great, and I’m here because of that decision,” he said. “I have lunch with my dad every Friday, and talk to him every single day.”

Carlson’s pro-life convictions have been strengthened by his own experiences as well. When he and his wife discovered they were expecting their second child – they now have four children, three girls and a boy – their physician informed them that testing showed that their pre-born son had Spina Bifida. As doctors so often do, he recommended that the Carlsons procure an abortion.
“My wife responded with a very bad word,” Carlson recalled. “THE very bad word, to indicate that no way this was happening.” Susan Carlson informed the doctor in no uncertain terms that “you’re not allowed to kill that child. You know why? Because you’re not God.”

German Doctor Slams Treatment of Alfie Evans: “Here Alfie Would Have Been Home a Year Ago”

By Steven Ertelt
Life News

A German doctor and professor is slamming the way that Alfie Evans has been treated by the British medical system and courts. He says Alfie should have been home a long time ago and that if Alfie were a patient in Germany that would have happened.

As LifeNews has reported, Alfie’s parents are attempting to get him home in negotiations with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. That is the hospital that removed Alice’s life support without their permission.

As the parents of Alfie Evans were preparing to meet with hospital staff to find out if they would be able to bring him home, a prominent doctor who has studied Alfie says he is not dying and is not brain-dead and says the hospital needs to quit holding him as if he were in a prison.

Alfie supposedly has a degenerative neurological condition but that diagnosis is being challenged now that Alfie is breathing on his own without life support.

And Professor Nikolaus Haas is adding him name to the chorus of concerns, saying that the British system places too much emphasis on doctors and courts and not enough on patients and families. He says Alfie could potentially live for six months if his parents were allowed to take him home and said he’s upset it hasn’t happened sooner. He also described a decision by the courts to deny the toddler’s parents the chance to take their son to Italy as “crazy.”

But in an interview with German news outlet Welt, Professor Haas insisted the child should be allowed to leave intensive care weeks ago.

He said: “If you have a child that is medically beyond treatment, you still have to take care of these patients.
“We say that these patients should not lie in the intensive care unit, but should be optimally cared for.
“For example, in a facility or at home, depending on the parents’ wish and their abilities.”But he added: “Every major children’s hospital has about a dozen such children who are severely handicapped and then cared for in the nursing home or at home. It is total routine.
“In Germany, Alfie would have been home a year ago with such care!”
Professor Haas has been involved with Alfie’s case for several months.

He has personally examined the toddler and previously provided expert evidence to the High Court at the request of the child’s family.

Alfie has survived for a third day after hospital doctors removed his life support without their permission.

Abortionists Lock Pregnant Mother in Clinic

Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance

Once abortionists have a woman in their grasp, they can’t stand to let her go. That’s why when one mother changed her mind about aborting her twins, the abortion mill refused to unlock their doors and let her leave.

As the mother paid for the abortion at the front desk, she was already second guessing her decision. Nonetheless, she ventured through the abortion mill to speak with her so-called abortion “counselor.”

But at that moment, the mother changed her mind about having an abortion. She told her “counselor” that she wanted to choose life for her unborn twins. But the abortion workers refused to let her leave.

They locked their doors, trapping the mother inside the abortion mill, and when she demanded that they give her a refund of her money and let her leave, they instead continued to pressure her to go through with killing her babies.

The abortionists ultimately forced the mother to let them keep half of her money before she could escape their mill. And although the twins from this story survived a close call with an abortion mill, not all babies are so lucky.

Sixty-one million little lives have been snuffed out since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion-on-demand in 1973. You and I must unite to overturn the disastrous Roe v. Wade and end the barbarism once and for all.

The National Pro-Life Alliance occupies a unique and important role in the pro-life movement. The focus of many other pro-life organizations is research, publications or counseling. These are all important and worthy activities, but the National Pro-Life Alliance is singular in its focus on passing pro-life legislation that will protect the unborn from the moment of conception onward.

Polish Doctor Who Examined Alfie Evans Says He is Not 'Dying' or 'Brain Dead', He's been Misdiagnosed

Pałgan said that Alfie's brain scans do not show that he is in a "terminal state."

POLAND, April 26, 2018: A Polish doctor has stated that UK toddler Alfie Evans is not “dying” and is certainly not “brain-dead.”

Dr. Izabela PaÅ‚gan, a pediatrician and children’s oncologist from Bydgoszcz in Poland, told Radio Wnet April 25 that in her professional opinion, doctors at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool where Alfie is being kept are misdiagnosing the boy.

“Doctors at the hospital in Liverpool asked the court to agree to the separation of the infant from life-support, on the grounds that it would be in the 'best interests' of the child. The infant is not a dying child. He is not brain-dead,” she said, as reported by Polish news portal Fronda.pl.
PaÅ‚gan said that Alfie’s brain scans do not show that he is in a “terminal state.” They do not, for example, show the state of his brain stem, she said.
“The child reacts to the voice of his father, he periodically opens his eyes, he tightens his mouth around his soother. The parents insist that he is making contact with them,” she added.
Videos taken by the family and posted to Facebook show the toddler yawning, making eye contact, responding to voice, sucking his dummy.

The child, who is lying ill in Liverpool’s Alder Hey children’s hospital, is at the center of a dispute between his parents, the British courts, and the hospital. The hospital and the courts have decided that the child is terminally ill and that it is in his “best interests” to die. His parents, Tom Evans and Kate James, disagree.

Dr. PaÅ‚gan claims to have examined Alfie in Britain some time ago at the request of Alfie’s parents. They had asked for second opinions.

A court order had Alfie removed from his ventilator on April 23 just after 9:00 PM. He defied everyone’s expectations by breathing on his own. He has now been breathing on his own for over 60 hours. Parents Tom and Kate have fought every step of the way since this time to secure oxygen, water, and food for their son. They would like to take him for treatment in Italy, but the courts have consistently ruled against that.

The Polish doctor said that the fact that Alfie can breathe on his own, coupled with his MRI, prove that he is not in a terminal state.

She said it appears that Alfie has been “imprisoned” by the hospital.

“That child is imprisoned there,” she said. “They refused to allow the parents to transfer their child to other hospitals that offered help. It’s a violation of human rights, of the rights to live, the rights of parents. It’s unthinkable.”
The Polish doctor’s comments come two days after a group of UK doctors condemned Alder Hey Hospital for its “medical tyranny.”
“We are deeply concerned and outraged by the treatment and care offered to Alfie Evans,” the doctors wrote.
“Actions such as these have now brought the Alder Hey Hospital to worldwide attention and by extension bring our whole profession into disrepute.”
Stating that “medical tyranny must stop”, the doctors demanded that British authorities allow Alfie safe passage to Rome. They also demand an investigation into Alfie’s doctors’ conduct.

Tom Evans said this morning that his son does not need intensive care and at least should be allowed to go home.

Blogger's note:

These doctors have not only supplanted Alfie's parental rights, but have 'played God' with this innocent child's life. This is a spiritual battle between good and evil.  Please continue to join with his parents and thousands around the world in praying for a miracle for Alfie.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Arizona 8 Special Election: Pro-life Debbie Lesko defeats Pro-Abortion Hiral Tipirneni

National Right to Life congratulates pro-life Congresswoman-elect Debbie Lesko (R) for her win Tuesday in Arizona’s eighth congressional district special election.

Polling had the race in a dead heat.

The highly publicized race to determine former Congressman Trent Franks’ successor was a classic pro-life vs. pro-abortion contest. Debbie Lesko is pro-life while her opponent, Dr. Hiral Tipirneni (D), supports abortion on demand throughout the pregnancy.

Tipirneni had the support of the abortion trifecta: EMILY’s List, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

The National Right to Life Victory Fund endorsed state Sen. Lesko and contacted thousands of members in the district to let them know of the stark contrast between the candidates on life.

Voters were told that Debbie Lesko supports the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – legislation to protect unborn children by prohibiting abortion at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods. Like most voters, Lesko opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion.

Voters were also told that Tipirneni supports abortion on demand and supports using tax dollars to pay for abortion on demand.
“State Senator Debbie Lesko’s position on life reflects the true values of Arizona’s voters,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president.
“We look forward to working with Congresswoman-elect Lesko to protect the most vulnerable members of the human family – unborn children and medically dependent or disabled persons whose lives are threatened by abortion or euthanasia.”
