Voices for Life Is a blog dedicated to informing and educating the public on pro-life and pro-family issues.
Our focus is to protect the sanctity of all human life from conception until natural death. This includes protecting babies from abortion, fetal tissue experimentation, and embryonic research; and the general population from euthanasia, cloning, population control and human genetic engineering.
Fr. James Linton was illegally arrested this week at Planned Parenthood San Bernardino -- just as they are planning to celebrate their 100th anniversary of their founding -- not very festive of them!!
I met with Fr. James, and he is in good spirits despite his ordeal. He is excited to return to the street in front of Planned Parenthood for the party we are throwing for them this weekend.
Actually, it's an Un-birthday party! And you are invited!
Our Un-birthday party will include prayer before the almighty God to pray for Planned Parenthood. We are going to pray:

As you may know, physician assisted suicide (PAS) went into effect in California on May 9th. Despite having been stalled in regular session, the bill was re-numbered as ABX2-15 and sent to a special session of the state legislature called by the Governor last year. The special session was NOT called for consideration of physician assisted suicide. Through these devious means, the bill was passed by a 4-vote margin in the 80-member Assembly and signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown.
The content of this new life-and-death law and the method by which it was passed are contrary to our state Constitution and are being challenged by the Life Legal Defense Foundation in Riverside Superior Court. See the legal papers.Presiding Judge Daniel Ottolia will hear the case and make his decision on Friday, August 26th. This case merits intense public interest in the courtroom. PAS proponents such as Compassion and Choices may attempt to pack the chamber. Let us be sure to have a large anti-PAS presence there. Here are the details:
WHO: Calling pro-lifers to stand against physician assisted suicide. We've done it before, let's do it again!
WHAT: A strong anti-physician assisted suicide presence is desired during the hearing and verdict on the illegality of ABX2-15 as signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown. We are not there to lobby the judge; rather we are there to show unceasing public concern with the issue. A strong turnout could help carry a good verdict forward should it be appealed.
WHERE: Superior Court of Riverside County - The Old Historic Court Building; 4050 Main St., Riverside, CA (main entrance on Main Street between 10th and 11th Street). Wheelchair entrance on 10th St.
Directions - Once you pass through the metal detectors at the entrance, go to Department 4 (Floor 1) and line up outside the courtroom, which seats about 35 people. Look for Dr. Dale Broome who is leading this support event.
Parking - There is street-side metered parking for up to 4 hours all around the downtown area. Parking structures are also located at: 3535 12th Street, 4090 Lemon St., 3964 Orange Street.

Earlier this week, David Daleiden's home was raided by the orders of Kamala Harris, the California Attorney General!
Instead of investigating the criminals (Planned Parenthood), she is going after the one who uncovered the crime (David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress that uncovered the #PPSellsBabyParts scandal)! Hopefully she watches the footage she stole!
The California AG is supposed to be the State's "chief law officer" with the duty "to ensure that the laws of the state are uniformly and adequately enforced" (California Constitution, Article V, Section 13). Can anyone say she is uniformly and adequatelyenforcing the law when it comes to Planned Parenthood?

Guess who has consistently given money to Kamala Harris... That's right - Planned Parenthood! In fact, Harris is so bold as to solicit petition signatures in support of PP on her Senate website... while she's still the California AG!

Planned Parenthood is harvesting and selling aborted baby parts! The only right response to anyone with a conscience is to stop it! So the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust are protesting at the Planned Parenthood facility at 3772 Tibbetts St. Riverside, CA on October 10 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. Survivors are demanding an end to this barbaric practice! This effort is part of a National Day of Protest taking place at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities all across the United States to raise awareness about Planned Parenthood's trafficking of aborted baby parts.
Undercover videos (see links below) released by the Center for Medical Progress reveal that Planned Parenthood abortion clinics, with the sanction of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, are involved in the harvesting of body parts of unborn children aborted in their facilities and profiting from their sale contrary to federal laws prohibiting such practices. The videos show high-level Planned Parenthood executives haggling over the prices of fetal specimens. The videos also raise ethical questions about the exploitation of unborn children for financial gain and risks to women's health if abortion procedures are altered solely to procure more profitable specimens.

As a consequence of this public scandal, 13 states have initiated investigations and 5 states stripped their funding from Planned Parenthood. As of this week, Planned Parenthood is under four congressional investigations. and currently receives over $500 million in taxpayer funding annually.

On Saturday, October 10th, #ProtestPP, a coalition of more than 40 pro-life groups including Survivors, hits the streets again with another national day of protest at Planned Parenthood centers throughout the country.
The last #ProtestPP event exposed Planned Parenthood's crimes to millions of people. But we still have much work to do before ALL our fellow citizens know the truth about Planned Parenthood. We need to not let the public forget what goes on in these places of death-that PP kills the unborn and sells their body parts! That's what the national day of protest on October 10 is all about, and I hope you will be part of it.
If this is your first time going to a protest and you're a little unsure of what to expect, we've got you covered! This protest is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness in front of your local Planned Parenthood to expose their evil practice of abortion and selling baby parts for money. You can bring homemade signs with messages such as "#PPSellsBabyParts, "Defund Planned Parenthood", "Women deserve better than Planned Parenthood", etc..." You could even bring sidewalk chalk for your little ones to draw beautiful pictures and even pro-life slogans on the public sidewalks surrounding the clinic!
