Every Ninety-Four Seconds Planned Parenthood Aborts a Life – Obama Asks God to “Bless” Their Work

Today, President Barrack Hussein Obama spoke to the National Planned Parenthood Conference in the nation’s capital.  He is the first actively serving American president to do so.

In his speech, he pledged his unending support for the organization’s cause of unrestrained worldwide abortion on demand.  The president thanked America’s leading abortion provider for the “lives they have saved” and asked God to “Bless” them for their work.

During his twelve minute speech, the president chose not to use the word “Abortion,” electing instead, to use the word “choice.”

The President spent 720 seconds lauding Planned Parenthood for the “Lives they saved.” That means that during Obama’s speech, 7.69 unborn children’s lives were terminated at Planned Parenthood facilities across the nation.

Diane Black (R-Tenn.) took to the House floor on Wednesday, condemning the late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, saying, “May God forgive us.” Black also blasted President Barack Obama for not speaking out against the “house of horrors” abortion clinic run by Gosnell, who would sever the spinal cords of babies with scissors after they had survived late-term abortion procedures. “Mr. Speaker, I stand here today outraged and deeply saddened by the heartbreaking story of the abortion Doctor Kermit Gosnell,” said Black.

There will be a brief news conference before the prayer vigil begins.

Have you been following the trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell? Until recently, mainstream media completely ignored the deaths wrought by the hands of this man. While hard to read, the grand jury trial transcripts show how horrific Gosnell’s practices truly were.

Gosnell staffers report it was "literally a beheading. It is separating the brain from the body … It would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place."

WE MUST STOP BIG ABORTION TODAY from repeating these horrific practices. We are actively working to establish commonsense clinic regulations within states across this nation to stop Gosnell “house of horror” techniques from continuing. AUL staff has consistently and passionately worked to educate legislatures and boards of health regarding the pressing need for abortion clinic regulations. Our voice is being heard!

In April alone, Virginia’s Board of Health approved final comprehensive regulations for the state’s abortion clinics, and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley signed into law legislation, inspired by AUL model language, protecting women from substandard care and conditions at abortion clinics. In fact, NBC 12 reported that, in anticipation of the imminent enforcement of Virginia’s new regulations, a Norfolk, Virginia abortion clinic is CLOSING. We must continue to work toward a culture that values both the life of the mother and the unborn child.

Our legislation is taking hold across the country and we don’t plan to stop! With each victory, we are advancing a culture of life that leads to thousands of lives saved.

Even the pro-abortion research group the Guttmacher Institute cited the success of 2011 and 2012 as a “tidal wave” of pro-life legislation that presented a “troubling” pro-life trend. If pro-abortion lobbyists deem this as troublesome …well….then...let’s continue to trouble them!

Kermit Gosnell and Big Abortion are counting on the media’s minimal coverage of abortion-related deaths. They hope the mainstream media won’t report the truth about Gosnell’s “beheading” of babies and other atrocities taking place at the hands of abortionists around the country.

Today, President Obama will become the first sitting president in American history to address Planned Parenthood at its annual conference.

That's right; the President of the United States is addressing the nation's largest abortion provider, the leader of the death industry, just weeks after it argued for the right to kill a child born after a botched abortion.

He is addressing Planned Parenthood even as it attempts to profit off abortionist Kermit Gosnell's trial for murdering babies born alive, arguing for even less regulation of abortion clinics.

Victory--PA House Passes Abortion Opt-Out Bill--Now Help Us in the Senate!

In a major victory for Pennsylvania taxpayers, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Tuesday approved a ban on tax funding of abortions under the federal health care law.

The House approved House Bill 818 by an overwhelming vote of 144 to 53. The bill now moves to the PA Senate.

Thank you to all of you who made phone calls and sent emails and letters to your state representatives.  State representatives tell us time and time again that they want to hear from their constituents on important issues--and taxpayer funding of abortion is a critical issue in Pennsylvania.

If your state representative voted in favor of the bill, please call and/or email the representative your thanks.  You can find out how your representative voted on H.B. 818.  click here to see how your representative voted

Now, it's important that we let our state Senators know that we want them to support HB 818 too.  To find out who your state Senator is, or to find out contact information for your state Senator, please go to this link and input your address, city, and zip code.  A window will then pop up with the name of your state Senator.

Please call your state Senator to let the Senator know you want a "yes" vote on HB 818 when it is voted on in the Senate.
