1. Grace-filled conversion testimony for Second Sunday
Ramona Trevino, former manager of a Planned Parenthood abortion referral clinic will speak for Waco Second Sunday Pro-Life Gathering. St. Mary’s Parish Hall at 1424 Columbus Avenue. Ramona will speak at 1 p.m. following our noon hour meal. $3 for adults.  For three years Ramona managed the Planned Parenthood abortion referral/birth control facility in Sherman, TX (almost Oklahoma). Then in 2011, during a local 40 Days for Life campaign, Ramona saw the light and made one of the best decisions of her life by quitting Planned Parenthood. Soon the facility shut its doors. Wow! Ramona will share the story of her conversion. O yes, Ramona will be bringing a guest. She is pregnant with her fifth child. Ya'll come. Of course, a great meal will be served buffet style. In addition to the action-planning meeting, we will be celebrating the 90th birthday of a saintly woman who had a billboard truck named after her. Come and be a part of the inspiration and joy of this day. We will wrap things up by 2 p.m.


2. Life Chain draws television press coverage.
Pro-Life Waco’s monthly Life Chain was very successful on November 2. The Waco Tribune-Herald included publicity on their local calendar of events. This brought a telephone call from a woman seeking involvement in the pro-life movement. Free publicity like this also lets folks in the community know they have friends, neighbors, and relatives who care deeply about the abortion holocaust. We decided to include our Vote Pro-Life yard signs. This brought out KCEN-TV, which produced a news segment on the election angle. Additionally, we enjoyed each other’s company from 2-3 p.m. on a nice fall day.

3. Vote Pro-Life yard signs at voting site
Pro-Life Waco tried to do its part for the November election with a “Vote Pro-Life” campaign. The campaign included six billboards around the city. It also included yard signs at homes of pro-lifers and out at voting sites. The photo below was at the downtown Waco location for early voting.

4. Wendy’s election loss follows Girl Scout debacle
You all probably know that pro-abortion State Senator Wendy Davis lost in a 20-point landslide on Tuesday in her bid to become governor of Texas. Her disappointing performance may have ended her political career. I do want you to remember one thing about Wendy Davis’ relationships in 2014. It was the Girl Scout USA approval of Wendy Davis in a GSUSA retweet that triggered the explosive Girl Scout cookie boycott of 2014 which was named Cookiecott 2014.   See article at

It was something about the phrasing that got to me. Something about the cadence of his words, the staccato of his speech.

“Nobody loves me. Not even my mother who gave birth to me.”

It is an odd turn of phrase, isn’t it?

Not even my mother who gave birth to me.

He was buckled into the backseat of my Toyota, still too little to sit up front. At seven he had already moved more times than the total number of years he had been on the earth. And this time, like the times before it, he moved with his belongings in a trash bag. A suitcase, at least, would have added a small degree of dignity to the whole affair – to being “placed” in another and another and yet another foster home before reaching the 3rd grade. Trash bags break, you know. Trash bags can’t possibly support the contents of any life, and certainly not a life as fragile as this.


They break from the strain, eventually.

OBAMA 'USING FEDERAL LAW TO TARGET CHRISTIANS'

Purpose ' is to Discriminate Against Religious Organizations That Oppose Abortion'

Obamacare has been challenged in court since it was launched, with charges that it is unconstitutional, violates religious rights, invades privacy and unlawfully orders consumers to purchase a product.

Now, a new lawsuit by four Christian institutions argues the Obama administration is using the law to attack religious groups that oppose the White House’s promotion of abortion.

The plaintiffs allege “the purpose” of Obamacare’s mandate that employers pay for abortion-causing contraception and abortion “is to discriminate against religious organizations.”

The complaint cites then-Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius comparing Obamacare opponents to “people who opposed civil rights legislation in the 1960s” and asserting that upholding the law requires the same action as was shown ‘in the fight against lynching and the fight for desegregation.’”

Abortion care gets the biggest billing on the website, but they also offer other services. Their website says they offer “complete gynecological care and New York abortion clinic services in a comfortable, private and supportive environment.”

This clinic, located in Brooklyn, advertises birth control management, STD testing and treatment, and even prenatal care. They offer abortions up until twenty weeks.

There is nothing in the beautiful, professional looking website to indicate the horrible reviews they have received. On Yelp, the facility received one and a half stars out of five.

A registered nurse gave the following review.

As an ambulatory surgical procedure RN, please believe me when I tell you that this place is mere millimeters away from being shut down because of its lack of the very basics of safe patient care.

AGAIN! STUDY DEMANDS WARNINGS ON ABORTION-BREAST CANCER LINK

For the second time in just months, a major study is ringing alarm bells not only about the connection between abortion and birth-control pills and breast cancer, one of the biggest killers of women in the U.S., but over the fact patients are not being adequately warned about the dangers they face in making those “choices.”

It was a study in the Linacre Quarterly by experts from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Catholic Social Services in Lincoln, Nebraska, the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill that said informed consent is becoming a major issue.


“Research studies document a compounding of breast cancer risk factors for girls and young women that underscores the duty for full and accurate informed consent,” the study states, citing the horrifying statistics that have been revealed.
