Morning Star Maternity Home

Morning Star Maternity Home is a Christian non-profit Crisis Pregnancy Home. It is operated by Morning Star Ministries of the North Penn Area, Inc., offering a positive alternative to abortion.

What We Do

Morning Star supplies housing and related services to teens and young women facing crisis pregnancies. The need for safe housing in a loving, nurturing environment is crucial to someone who is struggling with an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. We have found that if given the hope we endeavor to provide, young women are less likely to turn to an abortion as a solution to their crisis.

We offer care that begins when the resident arrives and ends when she and her baby have a safe environment in which to return.

We not only provide housing, but also help with other needs relating to unplanned pregnancy such as keeping up with education, the coordination of medical care, teaching of life and parenting skills, counseling, etc.

Our Staff
The ministry is staffed by caring individuals who are advised by a knowledgeable and considerate board of directors. Staff positions currently include:

Director…oversees the daily operation of the ministry, supports the houseparent(s) and coordinates the volunteer efforts necessary for the program’s success.

Fundraiser…coordinates the various details involved with fundraising events which finance the ministry.

Houseparent(s)…a mature husband/wife team or a single mature woman responsible for all areas of parenting, nurturing and modeling a healthy family lifestyle for the pregnant young women in the program.

Board of Directors

Morning Star’s staff is governed and advised by a knowledgeable and caring board of directors.

We look forward to hearing from both men and women who have an interest or a need. We understand and have great experience with these issues and so very much want to help you through this crisis by showing you the love we have been shown. We accept young women between the ages of 13 and 25. Please be in touch.

Suffering in Silence: The Siblings of Aborted Babies

by Mariel Sofia Lindsay
Live Action News

When we consider the effects of abortion, we usually think of those most directly affected: the mother, the father, the aborted child. But abortion’s effects are much more far-reaching and insidious. Siblings of those aborted often suffer very real feelings of loss and grief.

I remember the first time I talked to someone who told me she had an aborted sibling. She was my college roommate, and she was an only child. Sort of. She admitted to me that she was supposed to have a brother three years her senior. Their mother had aborted him at four months’ gestation after repeated demands to do so by her boyfriend.

#2015 IS THE YEAR OF…AWAKENINGS?

by Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

The Bible is ALIVE, the beating heart of God. It is showing through literal signs and wonders that we are in the end of end times. The world will never get better but it may seem quiet at times. And like a quiet toddler in another room, be VERY afraid. This is what the Lord told me:

Three tubs of aborted baby
remains going to the incinerator
Abortion will continue to drop and a resurgence will erupt in certain states to literally draw ‘customers’, I feel they may be NY, CA, WA & IL. Roe makes sure that every state will offer abortion services even it it’s just one facility left in that state. The murderous Left chants ‘undue burden’ which is an outright lie. But we know that! But does the general population? Not yet. That is the job of prolife advocates and conservative elected officials.

The Truth About Birth Control (full movie)

Pastor Steven L. Anderson
Faithful Word Baptist Church

Did you know that birth control pills actually cause early silent abortions? Most people think that birth control pills simply prevent a woman from getting pregnant, which is sometimes the case. However, birth control pills also act as an abortifacient, snuffing out a young life that has already begun. Not only that, but the Bible actually condemns other birth control methods as well. In our modern society, birth control is something that most people take for granted and have never even questioned. But we as Christians are commanded by the Bible to prove all things, and in the course of this film you will learn the shocking truth about birth control.

The DVD will contain an extended version

Healing the Shockwaves of Abortion

Janet Morena
Catholic View for Women

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The year 2014 saw the first “abortion rom-com” in theaters, heard the head of Planned Parenthood express the goal of making pro-life political candidates “unacceptable,” and endured a relentless assault by an anti-life movement that seeks to recast abortion as a social good.

Abortion is not a social good, and in 2015, the Silent No More Awareness Campaign will demonstrate that through a new project called Healing the Shockwaves of Abortion. The aim of Shockwaves is to reach out to those impacted by the loss of a child through abortion: Parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, abortion clinic workers and even the abortionists themselves.

The project will be announced at a press conference Thursday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. in the Murrow Room at the National Press Club, 529 14th St. NW. The official launch for Shockwaves will be at the annual Silent No More gathering in front of the U.S. Supreme Court building during the March for Life on Jan. 22.

The Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion was like a series of powerful nuclear devices detonated in January 1973 in Washington, D.C. The damage done by an explosion is not only in the initial impact, but in the invisible shockwaves that ripple out from the epicenter. We often fail to see the radioactive fallout from 55 million abortions but the new initiative aims to make Americans aware of the powerful and destructive shockwaves that have wounded our nation in ways that we are only beginning to fully understand.

“Each individual abortion procedure is an explosive event in the lives of the mother and father and those closely connected to that decision,” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life and Pastoral Director for Silent No More. “The shockwaves not only deeply touch the mother and father but all those who are part of abortion decisions and procedures. They extend out into the lives that they will touch as their unresolved grief and loss impact their future relationships, their marriage and family lives. This can and does reach deeply into our society — our schools, our health care and legal systems, our economy and our communities.”

2014 #PROLIFE LIFE IN REVIEW

By Reverend Katherine Marple
KeepLifeLegal

What is my prolife life in review? Just like other prolifers and advocates, I’ve done much but still not enough. Anyone who says otherwise is lifting themselves up rather than the task.

Have you gotten your call to prolife action? Being PINA [prolife in name only] helps no one…not one soul. Being PINA shows no fruit but brings self righteousness. Your call to prolife action takess your Christian life to a pivotal point of doing something, and it’s different for everyone.

The work is never done, there are lives being lost TODAY and will be more TOMORROW. For as wide and far as the Prolife Movement is, it actually boils down to saving souls and saving lives, one at a time. We will never know in the natural what actually happens in the supernatural – the results are God’s.

Catholics Fight for Freedom in Washington, D.C.

by Robert E. Laird
Crisis Magazine

The Catholic University of America and the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., are the latest targets of legislative and judicial moral relativists who severely threaten the religious freedom of Catholic educational institutions from pre-schools to universities, as well as other Catholic services.

The center of the issue are two bills, both approved unanimously by the D.C. Council in December in a deliberate effort to force Catholics and others with traditional religious beliefs to disregard their own moral standards. One bill would allow D.C. to force Catholic schools and colleges to recognize and possibly support homosexual student clubs, while the second may force Catholic and other employers to include coverage for abortions in their employee health plans. Both bills can still be halted by the D.C. mayor, Congress or the federal courts.

Come Join Us in Prayer for an End to Abortion

On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court of the United States of America handed down the infamous Roe v Wade decision allowing the killing of unborn children through all nine months of pregnancy. Every year since then, hundreds of thousands of citizens of our nation have gathered in Washington DC to stand up for the unborn and remind the world that abortion is a moral injustice.

There are many who cannot make the March for Life in Washington, but want to show their solidarity with those who are marching and giving witness in Washington, DC. One such group from Bucks County, PA plans to hold a prayer rally that day.

At 12 noon on January 22, 2015, pro-life residents of Bucks County will gather in front of the Planned Parenthood located on Louis Drive in Warminster, PA to pray for an end to the horrible crime of abortion.

We encourage everyone from this area who cannot make the March in Washington DC to join them to pray and give witness for the crime of abortion in this community, our nation, and the whole world.
