BREAKING: Ambulance Called to OH Abortion Facility where Woman Died from Botched Abortion 1 Year Ago‏

Cleveland, OH - Just one day before the one-year anniversary of Lakisha Wilson's fatal abortion at Preterm abortion clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, another ambulance was called to render emergency assistance to a patient suffering a medical emergency.

The ambulance arrived at Preterm around 3:15 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015. Emergency responders were seen wheeling out of the abortion facility an African-American woman estimated to be in her mid-twenties on a gurney that was in the seated position.

Documents obtained by Operation Rescue indicate that all five of Preterm's surgical rooms are located on the third floor. Gurneys can only access those rooms via a small, sometimes malfunctioning elevator that can only accommodate a gurney in the upright, seated position.

On the sidewalk, we recently knew of a woman considering adoption and in under 60 seconds we personally knew of 5 families that would adopt, no questions asked of the baby’s circumstances, race, health, etc. While adoption is the perfect solution, it doesn’t go without the sacrifice.

Planned Parenthood is at it again. Jeopardizing the health and safety of victims of sex-trafficking – all to make a dollar. And the Democratic Party is allowing Planned Parenthood to intimidate it into submission, and join Planned Parenthood in putting paying for abortions above sex-trafficking victims.

There's a bipartisan anti-trafficking bill currently held up by Democrats in the Senate – because they're in the pocket of Planned Parenthood, America's largest abortion corporation.

And what is Planned Parenthood's problem? The corporation is speaking out against the bill because it references the Hyde Amendment, a bipartisan federal provision that even many pro-abortion advocates agree with, which prevents taxpayers from being forced to fund abortion.

Contrary to Planned Parenthood's "safe abortion care" mantra, abortion is never safe. It kills at least one human being every time it's done, and traumatizes another. And Planned Parenthood has a pretty loathsome indifference to sex-trafficking – even willing to make a buck off it when convenient.

Remember? Senate Democrats need to stop standing with Planned Parenthood and stand with trafficking victims instead. They've now filibustered five times to block the bill to protect victims, and it's because Planned Parenthood is scoring.

So when you hear Planned Parenthood try to explain away why they care more about abortion than providing meaningful help to sex-trafficking victims, remember, it's just business as usual at Planned Parenthood.

911: Cincinnati Planned Parenthood Dumps Unresponsive, Epileptic Patient on Hospital‏

Cincinnati, OH - Planned Parenthood's Cincinnati abortion clinic has dumped an epileptic patient suffering a medical emergency on a hospital that refused to grant it a hospital transfer agreement.

Emergency 911 records obtained by Operation Rescue related to a February 20, 2015, incident indicate that a 38-year old pregnant patient suffered seizures and was unresponsive.

The Planned Parenthood worker at first told the 911 dispatcher that the woman had no history of seizures, then corrected herself and indicated the patient had a medical history of seizures and suffered an episode just four months prior.

Despite Desperate 911 Incident, Peoria Abortion Clinic Director Opposes Annual Inspections

Peoria, IL - A desperate 911 call from a Peoria abortion facility National Health Care (NHC) on February 20, 2015, reveals details of a dangerously botched abortion involving heavy hemorrhaging that the abortionist was incapable of controlling.

During the emergency call for help that lasted under a minute, an abortion worker repeatedly told the 911 dispatcher, "We need somebody very quickly."

"This is an abortion clinic and we have a patient who's bleeding very heavily and the doctor is not able to get too much of a grip on it," the caller reported.

This life-threatening abortion complication comes at a time when the executive director of NHC, Margaret Vanduyn, is publicly opposing efforts by the Illinois legislature to pass a bill that would require abortion facilities to be inspected yearly.

I was browsing blogs on WP on feminism and came across an interesting view: IF women in the US really believe their ‘rights’ have yet to be established, then perhaps they need to take a look at women in Africa or the Middle East. While the ignorance of women in this country actually have them fighting for their ‘lady parts’ to be a ‘protected class’, women elsewhere aren’t allowed to drive or shop alone or vote or have an opinion or be within a million years of being equal to their own sons or husband. Women in other countries fear DEATH while women in the US whine.

Sterilization Camps in India

Four months after one camp killed a dozen women, sterilization camp horrors continue

Anne Roback Morse gave an address on March 13, 2015 at the United Nations surrounding the Commission on the Status of Women at a panel titled, “Coerced Sterilizations, Abortions, and Reproductive Rights.” The following remarks are based on excerpts from that address.

Last November, 83 women were sterilized in a matter of hours at a sterilization camp in the east Indian state of Chhattisgarh. At least a dozen women died from the unhygienic conditions, and the large number of deaths in one sterilization camp garnered international media attention. While sterilization camps rarely claim a dozen lives at a time, women are routinely maimed and killed in sterilization camps in India. In the four months since news of the Chhattisgarh camp broke, sterilization camps and their horrors steadily continue.

India’s “family planning” system is more about controlling reproduction than planning families. Throughout the country, states set yearly and quarterly targets for sterilization “acceptors” and sterilization camps. With the emphasis set on targets, sterilizations are treated as a substitute for holistic healthcare. Women—often the poor, marginalized, and illiterate—pay the price.*

• The very same week that dozens of women were hospitalized in Chhattisgarh , 26 women were sterilized in one hour at a camp in Bilaspur. One woman died.

• Less than two weeks after the Chhattisgarh camp, 132 women were sterilized in 5 hours at night in a camp in Madhya Pradesh. The camp lacked stretchers and beds.

• In early December 2014, a doctor used a bicycle pump to inflate women’s abdomens in the place of a carbon dioxide insufflator during sterilizations in Odisha. A health official told the reporter that, “the use of bicycle pumps in sterilization surgery was widespread.”

• In late December, a woman at a camp in Orissa had her esophagus slashed during a sterilization procedure.

• In early January of this year, 45 women were sterilized at a camp in Uttar Pradesh; the camp officials left the women on the floor after the surgery.

• In January, 43 women were sterilized by flashlight in Jharkhand. The “clinic” had no electricity, and the camp coordinator brought in a generator. The generator died and the sterilization team continued to sterilize women by the light from a flashlight. The women were left on the floor after being sterilized.

• In late January of this year, 73 women were sterilized in four hours in a camp in Uttar Pradesh. The women were not given beds after the procedure, but were left on the floor.

• In early February, 23 women were sterilized and left on the floor in Uttar Pradesh.

• In late February, 60 women were sterilized by the light of flashlights and cell phone lights in four hours in a camp in Uttar Pradesh.

• Earlier this March, 27 women were sterilized in a camp in Uttar Pradesh and then left on the floor next to the bathroom.

According to India’s own government data, sterilizations and abuses are epidemic. According to India’s most recent National Health Survey, over one in three women in India between the ages of 15 and 45 have been sterilized. By the time women reach the age of 35, one in two women in India have been sterilized. Among women who have been sterilized, one in three say that they weren’t informed that the procedure was permanent. Two out of every three women who have undergone the procedure say they were not informed about possible side effects. Most sterilizations are performed on women when they are between the ages of 20 and 35, but one out of every hundred teenage girls in India have also been sterilized. On average, three women die every week from botched sterilizations.*

India’s system of sterilization camps is deliberate and pervasive. India’s systematic sterilization of women en masse, without informed consent, and in dangerous conditions demands our attention.

In just five short years, India will be home to the largest population of women of reproductive age in the world. Anyone concerned with women’s rights—or indeed human rights—cannot continue to ignore India’s systematic sterilization camps. Any country or organization which funds or co-implements sterilization camps in India has the moral obligation to cease funding until India enacts genuine reform in their public health sector. To continue funding of sterilization camps is to incur responsibility for the human rights abuses.

*India’s adult female literacy rate is 50%.

**This is according to official, reported government statistics. The actual number is probably larger.

The Culture Project (dynamic group of recent college graduates) returns to Waco this Thursday evening March 19 for a chastity program for youth in grades 7-12. 6:30 - 9 PM at Reicher High School. 2102 North 23rd Street. The group is on a Texas tour that includes Bryan, Austin, and Waco. I have seen their program. The youthful presenters relate well to our young men and women bombarded by so many wrong messages. Parents and other adults are welcome to attend. Details here.

2. Inaugural monthly I-35 overpass demonstration in Waco

Be a part of the first one! Pro-Life Waco is launching a new monthly outreach, a “Defend Pre-born Babies Overpass Demonstration.” March 24 from 11 to 1 p.m. Location is the 8th Street & Interstate 35 pedestrian overpass near Baylor. Signs will be provided. None of the signs are the type that could make children uncomfortable. Join in by entering the overpass from either side of Interstate 35. This will provide a great opportunity to reach folks from far and wide. I’m hoping to get over 20 people out for the demonstration, including Baylor students. Waco may have the only protected pedestrian overpass on I-35 in Texas. Y’all come!! If you know of another protected (fenced sides and top) I-35 pedestrian overpass, please let me know the location. 3. Volunteer(s) needed for billboard truck on three evenings

Volunteer help is needed moving the billboard truck away from Planned Parenthood Waco on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. (1121 Ross Avenue) Getting the pro-life billboard truck out to Planned Parenthood and back five days a week is a grand collaboration. We are currently short of volunteers on these three days. What is needed is for one person (or more) to drive out to Planned Parenthood between 4 and 7 p. m. for 1, 2, or 3 of these evenings. You would drive the truck to a near by site and walk about three minutes back to your vehicle. I am confident that having the billboard truck out at Planned Parenthood is a life saving outreach.
