Christian Contractor Quits after Learning He was Working on Abortion Center

Julie Burkhart, who runs the Trust Women Foundation, reopened late-term abortionist George Tiller’s Wichita, Kansas, abortion facility a number of years ago. Burkhart has lamented how hard it is to be an abortion provider, due to laws requiring abortion facilities to comply with the same health standards as other clinics. But that didn’t stop her from expanding her business south into the most pro-life state in the nation: Oklahoma. Burkhart’s planned new abortion facility in Oklahoma City has caused problems for the reputation of a Christian-owned business who was hired to work on the facility.

Burkhart’s abortion facility, South Wind Women’s Center–Oklahoma City, is located in the heart of a predominantly minority neighborhood.

India’s Declining Fertility

Population panic turns to concern about fertility problems

It was a visit to a crowded Indian street that first led Paul Erhlich to devise his now disproven theories about the mass starvation of humans due to overpopulation. Many still assume India to be an increasingly over-populated country with a high fertility rate. However, that is simply not the case. The Times of India recently reported that the fertility rate in Indian cities is now lower than that of the United States, Australia and France, stating:

Data from the Sample Registration Survey (SRS) on the total fertility rate (TFR) shows that since 2006 the TFR in urban areas has touched 2 children per woman and from 2010 has fallen below that level. That means there aren't enough children born in Indian cities to replace the existing population of their parents.

The rural fertility rate of 2.5 is higher, but it too has declined steeply. The household size of urban areas and slums are also now similar (averaging about 4.7 people), with slum areas achieving a far more equal child sex ratio (probably due to less access to ultrasound technology).

Famed Pastor Has a Strong Message for Christians Who Support Pro-Planned Parenthood Politicians: ‘You Need to Repent’

The Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, recently offered up a passionate rebuke of politicians who defend Planned Parenthood, explaining why he believes Christian voters must not support these individuals.

In fact, Rodriguez, author of the new book ”Be Light,” called it “morally reprehensible” for Bible-believers to stand behind candidates who openly defend the controversial women’s health care organization.

“I want to speak to every single African American, Latino, and Ango Christ follower who believes in biblical orthodoxy — how can we justify supporting anything — be it Republican or Democrat — that in any way, form or shape defends Planned Parenthood?” Rodriguez told The Church Boys podcast. “How can we justify supporting any political candidate that defends Planned Parenthood?”

And he wasn’t done there. The preacher went on to call such a prospect “morally reprehensible,” saying that it is a “contradiction to our commitment to Christ and scripture.”

“Any Christian who would support a candidate who defends Planned Parenthood really needs to seek scripture,” he continued. “You need to repent, because there’s culpability in what takes place in this nation as it pertains to the abortion industry if you dare support a candidate who supports Planned Parenthood.”

By now almost all Americans have heard of the gruesome videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s barbaric sale of aborted babies’ organs.

But many have not heard that the abortion giant is also conducting abortions over the internet. These so-called “telemed abortions” begin with an online meeting between the abortionist and an expectant mother.

After a brief interview (and the assurance that the payment went through) the abortionist prescribes a deadly mix of pills designed to kill the baby and force a bloody miscarriage.

So now the abortionist doesn’t even have to soil his hands with his own dirty work. Because the mother takes these poison pills and goes home to sit and wait alone for the agony and hemorrhaging to begin.

This is the very definition of callous.

Planned Parenthood’s President Cecile Richards has already made it clear that she intends to expand the use of online abortions to encompass all 50 states.

And at nearly $500.00 per prescription, RU-486 is seen as a real money maker for Planned Parenthood. But no matter the money, the real tragedy is the babies’ lives that are snuffed out.

That’s why National Pro-Life Alliance members, while continuing the effort to overturn Roe v. Wade, are also in the trenches fighting against Planned Parenthood’s barbarism.

To paraphrase Edmund Burke:

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

But NPLA members aren't ones to stand aside and “do nothing.”

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin on Friday vetoed legislation to make it a felony for doctors to perform an abortion, a measure that would have effectively outlawed the procedure in the state.

In vetoing the measure just a day after the Legislature passed it, Fallin, a Republican who opposes abortion, said it was vague and would not withstand a legal challenge.

The bill is so ambiguous and so vague that doctors cannot be certain what medical circumstances would be considered ‘necessary to preserve the life of the mother,’” Fallin said. “While I consistently have and continue to support a re-examination of the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, this legislation cannot accomplish that re-examination.”

‘Um…’: Actress Patricia Heaton Responds to Critics After Her Pro-Life Tweet Sparks Attacks

After actress Patricia Heaton received some harsh push-back for a tweet that she sent earlier this week in support of a pro-life organization, she decided to openly respond a couple of her critics.

As TheBlaze previously reported, Heaton, star of “The Middle” and “Everybody Loves Raymond,” was attacked on Twitter after re-tweeting and sharing a message on May 12 about a Washington D.C.-based pregnancy center. Speaking out in support of the group, Heaton wrote, “Choose, celebrate, support life!”

One woman was quick to question how much Heaton personally does to help women with no health care as well as kids in the foster care system, writing, ”How much $$ do you personally donate to foster care/programs for pregnant women w no health care/homes/money?”

Rather than ignore the individual’s curiosity, Heaton responded on Thursday.

“Um, yesterday I gave $10k to @LADreamCenter for their Foster Care Intervention Program. I have a charitable fund.”

And that wasn’t the end of Heaton’s engagement on the issue. When another woman shared the actress’ original tweet along with a message seemingly criticizing the sentiment, Heaton again replied.

“I await her backing of fully-subsidized prenatal care, maternal leave and quality preschool,” Twitter user @Quinncy shot back. “You know; support life.”

To that, Heaton replied, “I think you might like #FeministsForNonViolentChoices @ffnvc and #FeministsForLife who support all this.”

The woman responded by thanking Heaton, but said that she seeks to ”support women in all ways,” including keeping abortion both safe and legal. The actress sent a follow-up tweet explaining that the pro-life group Feminists for Life helps women so that they don’t have to choose between their children and education and a career.

Heaton’s responses came after some harsh messages from critics as well as some supportive tweets from those who agreed with her perspective. Read about some of the initial comments that were sent her wayhere.

Speaking out on abortion and pro-life issues is nothing new for Heaton. As previously reported, the actress was candid in a 2014 interview with TheBlaze about why she so vocally defends the pro-life position, saying that the issue of abortion truly “bothers” her.

“It just bothers me so much. It’s almost a natural — it’s almost a reflex now,” said Heaton, a mother of four. “Once you have kids and you know what it feels like to be pregnant and you know what it feels like to have that person growing inside of you, and the beauty of it, it’s just not a holistic thing to do.”

She added, “In the Hollywood community, I’m the only one I know who says anything about it. I feel like I’m supposed to.”

Today, I am going to let Mark, a Sidewalk Advocate in Nashville, TN, share how his training through Sidewalk Advocates for Life not only made a difference -- but helped save a life!

"Today, God allowed me the privilege of speaking to a young college student and her mother who came from out of town for an abortion. Neither seemed receptive at first, and in fact, only rolled down the window a little bit because her mother was smoking. Through the fence, I let her know that we had been praying for her, and I began respectfully offering information about all the free resources available to her during her pregnancy and after her baby's birth. I also mentioned the joy she could bring to a family who is desperate for a child should she choose adoption. I stressed that most post-abortive women suffer regret, guilt, and sadness, which I did not want her to experience. Nor did I want her to enter an unsafe facility than has never been inspected and is not licensed."

"When I said we could help her get her money back, she asked me how. I was immediately able to get ...our Program Director on speakerphone to walk her through that process. At that point, she was willing to get out of the car to receive the handouts I had for her. She was also willing to give me her contact information, so I immediately texted her phone so she would have my number and so I could follow-up with her. I was elated when she and her mother left for home."

"I feel that my sidewalk advocacy training was invaluable in preparing me for today. I was able to apply the tools and suggestions in spite of the fact that I do not consider myself a good communicator since I am often shy. The truth is I never would have imagined that I had the ability to be a sidewalk counselor. God had to bless me with the courage to even attempt it. I encourage anyone who is reticent to try sidewalk counseling to allow God to empower you. He is able!"

China’s family planning police are widely hated and feared by the Chinese people. And who can blame them?

A House Republican is under fire from a pro-life group for voting to end the panel investigating fetal tissue sales.

Tuesday, during the House Appropriations Committee debate on funding legislation, Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) submitted an amendment to disband the Select Panel on Infant Lives. The amendment was defeated, in spite of the efforts of Florida Rep. David Jolly, the lone Republican to vote in favor of the amendment.
