"DAVID AND GOLIATH" COURTROOM MATCHUP GIVES VICTORY TO PRO-LIFE GROUP

PLANNED PARENTHOOD HENCHMEN WILL PAY THE PRICE

By Mark Harrington
Breaking Christian News

"Pro-life free speech and the rule of law prevailed today. Corporate bullies like Stericycle are not immune to exposure for their involvement in abortion killing.” – Mark Harrington
Yesterday, Judge Margaret A. Marcoullier of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois released her decision on Stericycle, Inc. v. Created Equal(and Mark Harrington). (Photo Credit: Commons Wikimedia.org)

Judge Marcoullier dismissed all three charges against Created Equal and Mark Harrington: defamation, false light, and intentional infliction of emotional distress...

Over the past six months, arguments were presented in a lawsuit by Stericycle, Inc. against the pro-life group Created Equal. The Thomas More Society, a national non-profit law firm, represented Created Equal and its Executive Director Mark Harrington, against the temporary restraining order. This order was intended to stifle Created Equal's first amendment protected message that Stericycle is "enabling" abortion giant Planned Parenthood to kill preborn children.

Here’s what happened:

Created Equal launched #ProjectWeakLink on March 29, 2016 by distributing informational postcards in the Lake Forest, Illinois area — home to Planned Parenthood business partner Stericycle.
On March 31, Created Equal was notified by Stericycle's attorneys that the company was seeking a temporary restraining order to stop the campaign.
Created Equal's #ProjectWeakLink was devised after a Michigan abortionist's leaked statement that abortion clinics are "one incineration company away from being closed." Additionally, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine's investigation of Planned Parenthood confirmed that Stericycle disposes of aborted fetuses for Planned Parenthood.

Catholic Priest: “Unless We End the Killing of Children in Abortion Our Nation’s Problems Will Get Worse”

By Steven Ertelt
Life News

A leading pro-life Catholic priest says the top issue for American voters ought to be abortion and that unless abortion in America ends the nation’s problems will only get worse. Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life is also concerned about the attempt by a fake Catholic group called Catholics for Choice that is trying to deceive voters.

LifeNews has previously covered the so-called Catholics for Choice ad seeking to make abortion a positive thing for Catholics.

“Have you seen the ad? It’s a product of the deceptive, pro-abortion group called “Catholics” for Choice. I put the word “Catholics” in quotation marks because this group is anything but Catholic,” says Father Frank Pavone.
“And the sole purpose of the pro-abortion group’s ad is to confuse and mislead Catholic voters, while at the same time give political “cover” to those Catholics who refuse to recognize that ending legalized abortion-on-demand is the fundamental issue facing voters this election. Period.”
“I say that because of the simple truth that, until and unless we end the killing of defenseless children in the womb, our nation’s problems – whether it be with the economy, or immigration, or violence in our cities, or with ISIS and radical Islamic terrorists – will continue and get worse,” Pavone added.
Fr. Pavone continued:
"As I suspect you know, “Catholics” for Choice (or CFC) is a pro-abortion group that is based in Washington, D.C. The bishops have said that it has no affiliation with the Catholic Church whatsoever."
"It uses the name “Catholic” in its title for the sole purpose of contradicting the Church’s unequivocal opposition to abortion no matter what the circumstances of the pregnancy."
"For the group to state that taxpayer-funded abortion is a Catholic social good is nothing but a politically motivated attempt to sow confusion. It is a devious campaign to mislead Catholics, not only about what the Church teaches, but about what abortion is."
"How could any properly formed Catholic think that it’s perfectly okay and in line with Church teaching for an abortionist to decapitate living babies in the womb? Or rip their tiny arms and legs off during a brutal abortion procedure?"

Donald Trump Announces Leaders of Pro-life Coalition to Expose Hillary Clinton on Abortion

By Steven Ertelt
Life News

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump today announced the leaders of the new pro-life coalition dedicated to helping him expose the radical pro-abortion position of Hillary Clinton.

The new Coalition of pro-life leaders reads like a who’s who of the pro-life movement with people like Marjorie Dannenfelser, Gary Bauer, Sam Brownback, Alveda King, Father Frank Pavone, Tony Perkins and many others who have been spearheading pro-life efforts for decades. These pro-life leaders all believe Donald Trump will govern as a pro-life president if elected in November.

These co-chairs head the newly created Pro-life Coalition in support of the Trump-Pence ticket. Last week, in a letter made public by Susan B. Anthony List, Trump announced the creation of the coalition and asked pro-life leaders for their support. In the letter, Trump also outlined four pro-life policy commitments.

“National co-chairs of the coalition will communicate Mr. Trump’s pro-life commitments to people in their sphere of influence, speak out in support of the Trump-Pence ticket and, most importantly, recruit state co-chairs for the coalition who will in turn drive the campaign’s pro-life message out to each individual voter,” explained Marjorie Dannenfelser, Chairman of the Pro-life Coalition.
“Every vote counts. The policies outlined by Mr. Trump are not only important to pro-life base voters, but they appeal to a majority of Americans who oppose Hillary Clinton’s plan to make taxpayers pay for even late-term abortion-on-demand.”
Dannenfelser says Donald J. Trump is committed to:
  • Nominating pro-life justices to the U.S. Supreme Court.
  • Signing into law the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would end painful late-term abortions nationwide.
  • Defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they continue to perform abortions and reallocating their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women.
  • Making the Hyde Amendment permanent law to protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions.
The Hyde Amendment is longstanding, bipartisan policy to protect the conscience rights of taxpayers by stopping taxpayer funding of elective abortions. Hillary Clinton has pledged to rescind the Hyde Amendment. For the first time, the Party Platform ratified by Democrats this summer explicitly calls for the repeal of this policy.

The Networks’ Total Silence on the Hyde Amendment

By Dave Andrusko
National Right to Life

You might think that with 2016 being the 40th anniversary of the Hyde Amendment; with Hillary Clinton and her party pledging an all-out war against this provision which is attached to the annual appropriations bill that covers many federal health programs (including Medicaid); and with upwards of two million people walking this planet who wouldn’t otherwise, were it not for the Hyde Amendment, that the media, and particular the television networks, might alert the public to what the Democrats want to do and Donald Trump has vowed to oppose.

But you would be wrong.

Katie Yoder writes for Newsbusters –and very well–on a number of topics, including abortion. Her latest post–“Nets ‘Hyde’ Dem Push For Taxpayer-Funded Abortions” offers this stunning summary:

"While politicians and abortion groups are making Hyde a big issue this election year, the networks aren’t. ABC, CBS and NBC have not once reported on the Democratic platform’s new language to repeal the Hyde Amendment during their morning or evening news shows."
In fact, network anchors and correspondents haven’t said the words “Hyde Amendment” in the past five years.

But ignoring the Hyde Amendment of late represents more than just the same-old, same-old, it is part and parcel of ignoring the Democrat Party’s wholehearted embrace of abortion (including calling for the first time for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment in its platform.) Yoder quotes this existential meaning of the abortion “liberty” to Democrats in this passage from the platform:
“We believe unequivocally, like the majority of Americans, that every woman should have access to quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion—regardless of where she lives, how much money she makes, or how she is insured. We believe that reproductive health is core to women’s, men’s, and young people’s health and wellbeing."

San Antonio Archdiocese Blasts New “Catholics for Choice” Ad

By Calvin Freiburger
Live Action News

The Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio is condemning a recent ad by Catholics for Choice declaring that “public funding for abortion is a Catholic social justice value.”

The full-page ad, published in the San Antonio Express-News, is part of a broader ad campaign attempting to paint abortion support as not only compatible with Catholicism, but inspired and necessitated by it.

“Nothing could be further from the truth,” the Archdiocese declares in its response. “For more than 2,000 years, the Church has steadfastly proclaimed that respect for all human life at every stage is foundational to the Catholic faith. Abortion from the earliest tradition of the Church has been considered immoral.”
The response goes on to quote the magisterial document Donum Vitae (The Gift of Life), in which the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith declares:
“The human being is to be respected and treated as a person from the moment of conception; and therefore from that same moment his rights as a person must be recognized, among which in the first place is the inviolable right of every innocent human being to life.”
It is our hope,” the Archdiocese concludes, “that one day Catholics for Choice will take the time to acquaint themselves with basic Catholic teachings, and acknowledge the truth of the Catholic faith, and not choose to misrepresent her teachings with false and inaccurate information and ads that only work to confuse and mislead the public.”

Numerous Bible passages unambiguously condemn the taking of innocent human life, which includes abortion:
  • Genesis 9:6 declares, “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind”;
  • Proverbs 6:16-17 calls “hands that shed innocent blood” “detestable to” the Lord;
  • Matthew 19:17-18 quotes Jesus as reaffirming, “If you want to enter life, keep the commandments,” including “You shall not murder”; and
  • Jeremiah 1:5 has God saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Priest to Christians: “You Might Not Have a Church to Go to If You Don’t Vote Right in November”

Rev. Michael Orsi

By Micaiah Bilger
Life News

A Catholic priest’s powerful call to action for American churches has caught the attention of tens of thousands of people online.

The Rev. Michael Orsi, a Florida priest, author and host of the pro-life TV show Action for Life, urged church leaders to speak up about abortion and religious freedom in his message on the National Day of Remembrance for the Unborn on Sept. 10.

A video of Orsi’s call to action has attracted the eyes of almost 25,000 viewers so far on YouTube. Orsi is a former chaplain and research fellow in law and religion at Ave Maria Law School in Naples, Florida. He currently serves as parochial vicar at St. Agnes Catholic Parish in Naples.

“The churches have to begin to speak out fearlessly,” Orsi challenged his listeners. “For too long, pastors and churches have been bullied into believing that they can say nothing political from the pulpit. Let me remind you the Bible’s a political document. The prophets, including John the Baptist and Jesus, lost their lives because they spoke the truth to [those in] power.”
“Too many of the pastors—too many, practically all—in Germany refused to speak against national socialism,” he added. “… the result: millions of Jews, pastors, priests, homosexuals, gypsies all lost their lives because everyone was afraid. What are you afraid of, a couple of bucks? Your tax-exempt status?"
"What’s that going to do to you? Your churches may be closed anyway, because if a certain party gets elected, this certain party said, if the churches do not agree with our interpretation of women’s reproductive rights, they’ll just have to change their doctrine.”
Though Orsi never mentioned any names, he likely was referring to pro-abortion Democrat Hillary Clinton. During her first speech as a presidential candidate in 2015, Clinton advocated for abortion on demand and said: “Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”

Orsi challenged pastors and others to speak to their congregants about some of the biggest issues facing Americans today, including abortion.

Presidential Debate Ignores Hillary Clinton’s Views That Unborn Children Have No Constitutional Rights

By Steven Ertelt
Life News

Tonight’s [Monday night's] presidential debate ignored the biggest issue on the minds of millions of pro-life voters — where the candidates stand on the more than four decades of legalized abortions that have collectively destroyed the lives of 58 million unborn children.

While the debate didn’t get into the important issue, pro-life voters can’t forget how, during an interview on The View, Hillary Clinton said an unborn child just hours before delivery should have no Constitutional rights. her comments come just days after Clinton said unborn children simply do not have any Constitutional rights, which would include the right to life.

During the interview a host on The View followed up on the previous comments:

PAULA FARIS: "And Secretary, I want to ask you about some comments that you made over the weekend on Meet the Press regarding abortion. You said, quote, “the unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights.” My question is at what point does someone have constitutional rights, and are you saying that a child, on its due date, just hours before delivery still has no constitutional rights?"
HILLARY CLINTON: "Under our law, that is the case."
But was Clinton just citing the current law? No, she continues on to say that she supports Roe v. Wade, which makes it the case that unborn children have no constitutional rights even hours before birth. She added that she thinks women should have the sole decision-making power over the lives of unborn children without any limits.

If elected, Clinton potentially would be the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history. Clinton’s abortion stance is radical and out of touch with most Americans. She promised Planned Parenthood that she would try to overturn the Hyde Amendment and force taxpayers to fund abortions, which would funnel even more tax dollars to the abortion industry.

Baby’s Birth Mother Decides to Keep Her After Adoptive Mother Rejects Her

By Nancy Flanders
Live Action News

When Christina Fisher discovered she was pregnant in 2015, she felt she wasn’t in a good place financially to raise another child. She already had an 18-year-old daughter and referred to her living situation as “basically homeless.” She decided that the best thing she could do for her new baby was to place her with an adoptive family. However, things didn’t go according to plan.

When baby Abigail Lynn was born on January 11, 2016, her adoptive mother was there. But after seeing Abigail, the woman left the hospital in tears, never to be heard from again.

Abigail was diagnosed with Treacher Collins, a genetic condition that causes underdevelopment of certain facial features, including the jaw and cheekbones as well as the ears and eyes. Some people with Treacher Collins have difficulty with hearing while some others have respiratory problems. She may need cochlear implants for hearing at some point, but otherwise, doctors expect Abigail to lead a completely normal life.

When Fisher realized what had happened, and that her baby had been rejected by her adoptive mother, she decided she would raise her daughter herself.

“That is when I realized she is meant to be mine only now ’cause of her needs,” she wrote on her now-closed fundraising page. “I was not fully prepared for her, but now I can no longer see my life without either one of my daughters.”

Abigail Lynn and her mother's story continues

Pro-Abort Legislator Wants to Undo Protective Measures Enacted in Wake of the Murder Convictions of Abortionist Kermit Gosnell

By Maria Gallagher, PA Pro-Life Federation
National Right to Life

Serial killer Kermit Gosnell left a path of unprecedented destruction in his wake. A Pennsylvania jury convicted Gosnell of killing three full-term babies and causing the death of one female patient in an abortion facility Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams described as a “House of Horrors.”

Gosnell is now serving three consecutive life sentences for his crimes. The grand jury in the case estimated that Gosnell had “snipped” the necks of hundreds of babies after he had delivered them alive and hurt countless numbers of women. Prosecutors could bring only a handful of criminal charges against him, because, prosecutors said, Gosnell had destroyed so many records.

In response to the Gosnell catastrophe, Pennsylvania’s legislature passed a measure ensuring that abortion facilities would have to meet basic health and safety standards. The bill, signed into law as Act 122 of 2011 by then Governor Tom Corbett, also required regular, unannounced inspections of abortion operations.

Prosecutors noted with exasperation that hair and nail salons had been more strictly regulated than abortion centers in the Keystone State over the years. For 17 years, in fact, abortion facilities in Pennsylvania went uninspected.

As the grand jury stated,
“…the Pennsylvania Department of Health abruptly decided, for political reasons, to stop inspecting abortion clinics at all. The politics in question were not anti-abortion, but pro. With the change of administration from Governor Casey to Governor Ridge, officials concluded that inspections would be ‘putting a barrier up to women’ seeking abortions. Better to leave clinics to do as they pleased, even though, as Gosnell proved, that meant both women and babies would pay.”
The grand jury clearly and emphatically wanted Pennsylvania law to be changed to prevent future Gosnells from setting up shop in the Commonwealth. Now, a Pennsylvania state representative wants to undo all the progress the state has made in regulating abortion centers through his introduction of House Bill 2332, which would repeal Act 122—a measure which might be better described as “Gosnell’s Law.”
Representative Steven Santarsiero, a Democrat who represents some of Philadelphia’s suburbs, is a staunch defender of the abortion industry and of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion operation.
He has introduced HB 2332 under the mantle of the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling known as Whole Women’s Health v. Hellerstedt, which struck down portions of a Texas law regulating abortionists and abortion facilities.

Still, as a top Pennsylvania attorney pointed out there have been no massive closings of abortion centers in Pennsylvania in the wake of the law, so abortion promoters would be hard-pressed to claim that the law “limited access” to abortion.
Pennsylvania’s law, furthermore, does not treat abortion centers differently than other surgical centers, so abortion center operators cannot claim they are being unfairly targeted.

Kim Kardashian is Voting for Hillary Clinton Because She’s Pro-Abortion

By Life News
Micaiah Bilger

Reality star Kim Kardashian quashed rumors on Saturday that she plans to vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Instead, Kardashian said she is voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton because she is pro-abortion.

Last week, there were rumors that the reality show celebrity was thinking about voting for Trump after talking with her former step-father Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner, a Republican, US Magazine reports.

“There was a point when I wasn’t 100% sure I was even going to vote in this election; I didn’t want to vote blindly,” Kardashian wrote on her website Saturday. “But I also thought about how not voting would mean that I wasn’t making my voice heard, so I decided to talk to my closest friends and family who I love and trust, to have an open conversation about politics.”

Here’s more from the magazine:
After Jenner encouraged her to do her research on both Trump and Hillary Clinton, the 35-year-old says she “thought about the things that are so important to me that they outweigh everything else, such as gun control and protecting women’s rights to safe and legal abortion.”
“I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary. I’m with her,” she wrote. “I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job. This year, I’m not just voting for myself, but also for my children, and I took that into careful consideration when I made my decision.”

Will New Saint Bring New Allies to UN Abortion Debates?

By Susan Yoshihara, Ph.D. and Rebecca Oas, Ph.D
Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam)

NEW YORK, September 22 (C-Fam) Mother Teresa’s canonization in Rome reverberated at an event in UN headquarters where top diplomats praised the saint as the very essence of the UN’s mission even if they had opposed her message on life and family issues in the past.

“Mother Teresa is the United Nations,” the Secretary-General, Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, said when he introduced Mother Teresa to the UN General Assembly in 1985. “Mother Teresa is peace in the world.”

His remarks were part of videos shown last week, which included the saint’s condemnation of abortion as “direct killing of a child” and “the greatest destroyer of peace.” For those following the abortion debate at the UN, it was a remarkable juxtaposition of the saint’s clear condemnation of abortion and unmitigated praise from countries that promote the policy.

The UN event was co-sponsored by the Holy See, along with the missions of India, Italy, Albania and the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia where the saint’s birthplace now resides.

Are You One of Those People with "a Conscience Thing"?

from Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance

You know what your problem is?

According to Nancy Pelosi your problem is that you have a conscience.

The abortion lobby constantly tries to portray themselves as "pro-choice." But as far as choosing NOT to abort, nothing could be further from the truth.
  • They don't want you to have a choice whether to pay for abortions or not.
  • They don't want nurses and doctors to have a choice about whether they must participate in elective abortions or not.
  • They don't want medical schools (including those in religious institutions) to have a choice whether they must teach abortion procedures.
And when pro-life members in Congress proposed the "Protect Life Act" that would preserve the choice of taxpayers and doctors to abstain from promoting abortion . . .

Well, according to Pelosi, it's "savage" to allow those choices.

Pelosi stated "I'm a devout Catholic and I honor my faith and love it, but they [pro-lifers] have this conscience thing."

Pelosi may have meant it as an insult to you and me, but she is actually right.

Our conscience tells us it is morally wrong to kill unborn babies and to force taxpayers to pay for it.

That's why your National Pro-Life Alliance will never stop fighting to end abortion-on-demand by passing the Life at Conception Act.

Bloggers Note:  Nancy Pelosi may have been 'baptized' and raised a Catholic, but she certainly does not act like one.  You cannot support the killing of unborn children and profess to be a 'devout' Catholic or Christian.  She and those who profess to be practicing Christians while supporting the killing of unborn children are actually apostates.

Adult Stem Cells: The Best Kept Secret In Medicine

David A. Prentice, Ph.D., Vice President & Research Director,
Charlotte Lozier Institute
for The Daily Caller

Stem cell therapies and their lifesaving results are arguably the best kept medical secret. Stem cells are currently being used in several thousand FDA-approved clinical trials, are treating tens of thousands of patients every year, and cumulatively over 1.5 million people have been treated to date. Yet these numbers, and the lifesaving results from stem cells for dozens of conditions, are unknown to most. Why the information blackout? Perhaps for lack of an adjective.

You see, those heartening numbers are all due to adult stem cells. Long ignored by the media and disparaged even by many in the scientific community, adult stem cells – those not dependent on the destruction of embryos – are the true gold standard for stem cells, especially when it comes to treating patients.

Shut Them All Down

from Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance

Pro-lifers all across America have heard of notorious abortionist Kermit Gosnell and his “House of Horrors” abortion clinic.

In spite of what appeared to be the mainstream media’s best efforts to suppress any information, the word got out about the sickening and criminal practices at Gosnell’s Philadelphia abortuary.

And with the internet, no tawdry detail stays hidden for long.

Though the abortion industry would like for you to believe differently, Kermit Gosnell was not just a ‘lone wolf, renegade’ abortionist who won’t adhere to some imaginary strict code of patient care, or an industry standard for safety and cleanliness for abortion clinics.

That’s just not the reality of the abortion world.

When the abortion industry is so obsessed with killing babies, why would they let the health of a mother get in the way?

So, not surprisingly, other “Houses of Horrors” have already come to light such as the Planned Parenthood affiliate in Wilmington, Delaware.

This clinic was so filthy and dangerous that the staff who worked there reported it!

Three former employees of Planned Parenthood testified before the Delaware State Legislature, exposing the organization’s unsafe and unethical procedures.

Two nurses told in full detail of how the rush to push women through would regularly result in abortion tables being left uncleaned of blood and not even wiped between patients.

According to one of the clinic’s former nurses, "It was just unsafe. I couldn't tell you how ridiculously unsafe it was."

She said of the operating tables "It's not washed down; it's not even cleaned off. It has bloody drainage on it."

The veteran abortionists callously refused to even put on surgical gloves and frequently reused dirty instruments during procedures.

Some doctors were even performing “after hours” abortions without any support medical staff.

Abortion duties were assigned to staff with little to no medical expertise, who then rushed through procedures with reckless abandon.

Doctors even neglected to inform at least 200 women of their positive test results for STD’s and infections.

During the investigation, abortionist Timothy Liveright was cited for ten “acts of incompetence and negligence.” The nurses testified that Liveright “left sedated patients in the middle of an abortion procedure for hours in order to handle a mechanical issue with his private airplane.”

View the report on their testimony below or watch it on YouTube using this link.

The revelation of yet another seedy abortion mill is not an anomaly. Just within the past year the states of Kansas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Alabama, California, Michigan, and Illinois, among others, have had abortion clinics exposed.

The hard fact is that when a doctor doesn’t care for life at its most innocent and vulnerable stage, then he or she will obviously not care how any life is treated.

But the multitude of horrifying abortion procedures used on unborn babies and the women dying from horribly botched abortions reveal the stark truth -- the abortion business is seedy, unsafe, and an unregulated free-for-all.

So we here at your National Pro-Life Alliance have been working on the perfect solution to dirty and deadly abortion mills and we think we’ve found it:

Shut ‘em all down for good!

The National Pro-Life Alliance occupies a unique and important role in the pro-life movement. The focus of many other pro-life organizations is research, publications or counseling. These are all important and worthy activities, but the National Pro-Life Alliance is singular in its focus on passing pro-life legislation that will protect the unborn from the moment of conception onward.

Where do the Candidates Stand on Abortion?

In a letter to pro-life leaders, Donald Trump added a fourth pro-life promise to his existing three commitments on the life issue.

He also announced in the letter that our own Marjorie Dannenfelser will serve as National Chairwoman for his Pro-life Coalition. (Check out a few of the news stories in The Hill, Politico, & USA Today).

In light  Mr. Trump’s new commitment to protecting the conscience rights of pro-life taxpayers by making the Hyde Amendment permanent law – we put together the below graphic to show how the two presidential candidates stack up.

Abortion Activist George Soros Funding Pro-Abortion March to Legalize Abortion in Ireland

By Micaiah Bilger

Abortion activists are planning a march in Ireland this weekend to demand that the nation legalize abortion on demand and stop protecting unborn babies.

However, most of the support for the pro-abortion campaign appears to be coming from outside the country and not its own citizens.
Strong evidence suggests that American billionaire George Soros is using his fortune to push Ireland to legalize abortion. In a column for Eurasia Review this week, William Donohue pointed out that Soros gave money to three of the pro-abortion groups that are promoting the “March for Choice” in Dublin and about 20 other cities this weekend.

Donohue said Soros’s Open Society Foundations funds Amnesty International Ireland, the Abortion Rights Campaign and the Irish Family Planning Association, all of which are involved the effort to repeal Ireland’s Eighth Amendment, which protects the right to life for unborn babies.

Abortion activists expect as many as 20,000 people at the pro-abortion marches this weekend, the Irish Times reports. Dublin is the location for the main march, but organizers told the newspaper that 20 events will be occurring globally in solidarity with abortion activists in Ireland.

Forbes ranks Soros as the 23rd richest person in the world. He is a regular major donor to pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia groups. Soros is just one source of anti-life groups’ funding. Warren Buffett, the third richest in the world, also is a major donor to pro-abortion causes, as is Bill Gates, who ranks first, and Mark Zuckerberg, who ranks sixth.

UNFPA’s Biannual Checkup Reveals Symptoms of Abortion

NEW YORK, September 22, (C-Fam) Despite close ties with pro-abortion groups, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has been constrained from openly promoting abortion but that may be changing.

The UN agency’s mandate and risk of losing donor support has tied its hands in the past, but recently-released documents from UNFPA’s latest progress evaluation show its behind-the-scenes support for abortion at the same time as some stakeholders are urging them to promote it more aggressively.

In January 2015, 22 U.S. Senators wrote a letter to President Obama urging him to continue funding UNFPA, expressing disappointment that “number of misperceptions about the organization persist,” adding that “UNFPA does not promote abortion as a method of family planning.”

If Planned Parenthood Thinks Black Lives Matter, It Should Stop Killing Them

By Micaiah Bilger
Life News

In the past few months, the abortion chain Planned Parenthood has been eager to align itself with the Black Lives Matter movement, which came about in response to shooting deaths of black men by police.

However, the abortion chain is responsible for killing more black lives through abortion than guns and dozens of other causes combined. And more black Americans and pro-lifers are calling out Planned Parenthood for its ironic statements about violence against human lives.

Racial tensions are running high in America after riots and violence erupted when a black man was shot and killed by a black police officer in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Planned Parenthood responded on Twitter to initial reports about the Charlotte man, Keith Scott’s death.
Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards, who makes $590,928 a year, tweeted about the incident on Tuesday:
There are no words adequate to express the outrage and grief - stop killing Black people.
On Thursday afternoon, after riots broke out in North Carolina, Planned Parenthood also tweeted this:
Everyone must own the responsibility we have as a nation to stand against the violence done to Black people in America. -@CecileRichards
Writing for The Federalist, D.C. McAllister responded by challenging Planned Parenthood to stop killing unborn babies if it truly believes that black lives matter.

She wrote:

Planned Parenthood is one of the greatest perpetrators of violence against African Americans in this country. It’s founded on racism, perpetuates racism, and kills more than 850 African Americans every day.

Black people make up about 13 percent of the population, yet comprise 37 percent of all abortions. Black women are 4.8 times more likely to have an abortion than white women are. Approximately 78 percent of Planned Parenthood’s clinics are in minority communities, and black babies are three times more likely to be killed from an abortion than white babies.

… Clearly, if anyone should “stop killing black people” it’s Planned Parenthood. The real violence against minorities in America isn’t on the streets of Charlotte or any other city, it’s in the clinics of Planned Parenthood.
Black pastors and pro-life leaders have been calling out Planned Parenthood’s hypocrisy, too.

The Rev. Dr. Clenard H. Childress Jr., an African American pastor and founder of Blackgenocide.org, recently appealed to the black community on the issue.
