A Weekend of Remembrance and Prayer

While pro-life warriors across the nation gather at gravesites this weekend to remember all the unborn babies killed through abortion, many also will gather to remember those who were lost through an act of terror on September 11, 2001.

Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life and the Pro-Life Action League co-sponsored the fourth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children today. They called on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites of our aborted brothers and sisters. (

In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, members of St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish held their memorial service at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. Use this link to view pictures of today's memorial service.)

Tomorrow there will be many memorial services throughout the USA for the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack on our country.

We can never forget these victims or the act of terror committed by al-Qaeda on our nation.  (See the article by Chad Groening and Steve Jordahl at  OneNewsNow.com).

We have a moral obligation to remember and honor the victims of September 11, 2001.  We also have the same obligation to honor and remember all the unborn babies who have been killed through abortion.

How ironic that these two days of mourning and remembrance should fall on the same weekend.
