Ashville NC. Pasty Keever, the Vice-Chairman of the Democratic Party in North Carolina featured Speaker at abortion clinic fundraiser.

Dear Friends,

You most likely have been following the news about the temporary closing of the abortion place in Asheville. They began killing again last Friday. We haven’t seen the usual traffic, however.

Abortionist Lorraine Cummings said in a news story that the closure was “devastating” to her financially. Unfortunately, many in Asheville have rallied behind her. A local group of “full service doulas” is holding a fundraiser for “Femcare” on Thursday, September 5 in Asheville. The location is “Th...e Millroom” on 66 Ashland Avenue. This is rented party space belonging to Asheville Pizza and Brewing at 77 Coxe Avenue, which is physically connected. (Note: We are not picketing Asheville Pizza, just the fundraiser.)

Here is a link to the fundraising sponsor: http://openumbrellacollective.org/femcare-fundraiser/

One of the guest speakers for this event will be former state representative Pasty Keever, who was elected on August 17 to be the Vice-Chairman of the Democratic Party in North Carolina.

I plan to picket the event and I invite you to join me.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, so please arrive at 5:30. We should be done by 7:00 pm, though the event will likely last longer. Also, RSVP in e-mail or by telephone. I need to get a number on how many people will come. If we have 20 or more, I will issue a press release on Wednesday or so. Also, I will need to give you last minute information.

I have all the signs we need. They are professionally printed and say “Abortion Kills Children.” Please don’t bring your own sign without checking with me first. (I want to be sure we have a fairly consistent message.) I also plan to bring at least two large aborted baby posters—which are important for showing reality in contrast to a “fun, food” event like this fundraiser.

Thanks for your consideration.

-Mick
