1. Baylor presentation on ancient and contemporary infanticide. – Thursday, September 26, 2013 -4:00 PM

The Baylor Bears for Life Student organization is sponsoring another great on-campus presentation this week. Dr. Alden Smith, Professor of Classics, delivers on the topic "Babies on the Hillsides: Thinking about Infanticide Based on Ancient Models." 4 p.m. Thursday in the Alexander Reading Room of Alexander Hall. This is on 8th street. Parking should be readily available at this time of the day.  Let's get out to hear a great presentation, and help Bears for Life get off to a dynamic start to the new academic year.

2. National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies in Waco

Waco's participation in the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies went very well on on Saturday September 14. Rusty Thomas of Elijah Ministries organized the event. About 40 cars participated in the "funeral" procession from the Ross Avenue PP abortuary to Rachel's Park Memorial. Many heads were turned as the procession wound its way through Waco. The ceremony there was lovely, including two moms honoring children lost to abortion. Approximately 60 people attended.

3. Abortuary closures: Midland, Bryan and could Waco be next?

Abortion facilities in Midland and Bryan closed in August. We pray the the shedding of innocent blood in Waco at the hands of Planned Parenthood will end very soon. In the meantime, we must be faithful and vigilant on abortions mornings--Tuesdays. We have been blessed with a no-show abortionist the last three Tuesdays. Let's be faithful tomorrow with prayer and witness at the abortuary 1121 Ross Avenue from 7:30 to 10 in the morning.

4. Life Chain Sunday in Waco and the World will be October 6.

This is the BIG ONE. Time is 2 to 3:30. Location is the intersection of Valley Mills Drive and Waco Drive. Just park near Pei Wei restaurant and look for the pro-life billboard truck to get your sign and join this great public communication of pro-life messages. With your participation, we can make this the best Life Chain ever.
